Something I have been working on for a while is restoring old vintage game boards to a working condition and with new graphics. Here are my first attempts. I have taken vintage Tudor game boards and rebranded them to The National ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Game Museum's EFg Brand of Electric Football Game Boards. by completely recovering the playing field with new field covers and the side framing with new graphics. This was done with vinyl adhesive backed "Car Wrap" material and professionally printed and applied by a local sign and graphic company. Very pleased with how these turned out. EFgGeneric6601.thumb.jpg.3af0cc80f9e0ac3d37d0dd4cf4118cd8.jpg

Totally Awesome. What amazing Detail. Gives new light to the term catch a buzz? Anyone up for a beer?

Nothing like a good joke and that was nothing like a good joke, but I couldn't resist it, sorry.

Honestly it reminds me of the intense perfection my brother strives for when restoring motorcycles like Yamaha's pin-striping. I don't know how he does it but it takes a very long time and I'm sure you follow the same painstaking processes. Again, very fine work Chris. Blessings to all Curt. 🙂

Oh my! Those are fantastic! Just love what I’m seeing!

Yeah, I am very pleased with how these turned out. Look even more amazing in person I plan on having several of them at the convention. All makes, models, and sizes!!

Coach, just out of curiosity, is there any market for this? What I mean is, there are people who aren't necessarily willing to pay top dollar for a brand new board by Tudor....but they might be persuaded if say, there were cheaper models that have been restored and then sold - not unlike a used car, LOL.

Only reason I ask is because I have some friends who fit into this category. It would be fun to have a league where I live, but unfortunately, not everyone is willing to shell out the big bucks for a really good board.

Thing is, buying a used 620-series board free of dents on the field on evilBay and having it shipped will usually cost at least as much as a new mini-ultimate field, and often times a lot more.  Then add the price of the vinyl and application.

Finding a 620 at a garage sale or thrift store would be the only way you'd get one for cheap.  But that's pretty rare, at least in my experience.  Though I did find an old (50s) 500 set in my old house when I bought it!
