  1. Glad you enjoyed it. πŸˆπŸ‘ BTW, Kyle Nutt is currently working on the 84' San Francisco 49ers for me. If I get a chance in the future (hopefully sooner than later), I plan to ask him to work on Raiders dynasty between 1976 - 1983. I'm not picking a specific year for them, because I plan to include players from the 76' team like Jack Tatum, as well as players from the 83' team like Howie Long and Marcus Allen. The Lineman will be 67' Big Men, FB's, TE's and LB's will be Beenutt figures and the backs and receivers will be Hait Repro.. It'll be a couple months, but I'll post pics so you can see if I get those done. Kyle is a pro....
  2. TBH, I didn't like em' growing up cause they kicked the Skins but in the 83' Super Bowl, lol. However, in the past year I've been reviewing old games from the 80's and 70's because I'm trying to build a league that's mainly based around Super Bowl winners from that era. Now mind you, I was too young to have seen the Raiders in 1980 and 1976, so I'm not sure I even realized they had won it then... Now that I've been delving into the players and teams from those decades, I have to say how impressed I am with that franchise, LOL. There were so many great athletes from Cliff Branch, Jack Tatum and Ted Hendricks to Marcus Allen, Howie Long and Tom Hendricks, that I'm not sure how I missed them all these years. And then when I found out John Madden was the Head Coach of the 76' Raiders? Wowzers. Not saying they'll ever become my favorite team of course, but I can honestly look back now at the era and admire their legacy as one of the best franchises in NFL history.
  3. OK Coach. Here are a couple of positive plays from the Skins back in their heyday. These two may (or may not) rank as the two greatest plays in Redskins franchise history, and it's stuff like this that I think draws people to EF football in the first place, lol. They were so significant in helping the team win such a big game, that I can tell you almost exactly the spot I was in when it happened. And like you say, there was a real father-son moment with the Riggins run as I was 8 at the time and can still remember the joy we both experienced. It was truly epic. Check it out:
  4. Wow! Great stuff Coach... No, you didn't really ruffle even my smallest feather there. 🀣 There's a LOT more we could say, but as you mentioned, there's forum rules we need to respect since this website is mainly dedicated to EF football. That being said, I think it's OK to make some statements of fact from time to time since the EF game is inspired by the real life version. Perhaps we could create a different thread about the darker side of pro sports, or if not, just talk about it using personal emails. Anyways, it's refreshing at the very least to know there's other Men who think with a logical mind out there. Someday, we'll have to talk about our most favorite moments and plays instead of all this crazy stuff. 🀠 Blessings to you, Brian
  5. Curt, life is funny isn't it? When I was in High School, my best friend was a Cowboys fan, LOL. So, this is when we were freshman, and the Cowboys had that 1-15 record. Now, you would think that as a Redskins fan I would've been happy about that right? To my surprise, I discovered it was kind of sad and disappointing. It was learning experience for me because it occurred to me that in order to truly have a great rivalry like the Boys and Skins had, your arch rival has to be someone who is successful and that you respect. This was the first time I had an inkling that deep down I kind of liked them, but of course I had to keep it a secret, LOL. Anyways, I stopped watching the NFL years ago because of the amount of money going on and the style of play, and of course how the game has become so politicized. Since the Redskins have gone extinct, the only team I'd consider rooting for (if I was into it still) is the Dallas Cowboys. The only team whose name I won't utter is that new team in D.C. (don't even wanna' get started on that one, LOL).
  6. πŸ˜‚ to palpitations Coach, my photography isn't on par with Kyles painting skills, that's obvious. However, let me post one more set of pics here so that way you can see better detail on the helmets with the side profile, but also something our friend coach Terry calls: "Theater for the Mind" which is just a fancy way of talking about the size difference of the players.... In these pics here from left to right I have (for Big "D") FB Darryl Johnston who is a Beenutt, DE "Too Tall" Jones who's a 67 Big Man, and DB Cliff Harris who's a normal Haiti repro.. For the Skins, it's beloved Kick returner Mike Nelms in Haiti Repro, Defensive end and sack extraordinare Dexter Manley, and RB (a.k.a. The Diesel) John Riggins who's a Beenutt.
  7. Hey Guys. So, Kyle Nutt just finished up a request of mine. Basically, I asked him if he could use 67 Bigmen for all of the lineman from the 82 Redskins (greatest team in the history of sports BTW), and use Beenutt figures for the LB's, FB's, and TE's. The skilled position players are all Haiti Repros which is all supposed to add up to a lifelike realism in terms of size. Another painter couldn't do it right, but when I asked Kyle, he was not only willing, but also willing and I might add a joy to work with. Here are some pics of the skins and their arch rivals (sorry, we're still not allowed to say their names in our house 😜) Kyle absolutely crushed it... (I'll have to work on getting a few better pics than this to do him justice, lol)
  8. Are we allowed to attend the TOC tournaments as spectators?
  9. Duuuuuuude! This. Is. Awesome. The only piece missing on the board is a John Madden figure standing on the sidelines with his hands up in the air like: "WTH?!" Now we know why he was so much fun in the booth years later, LOL. Here. You might enjoy this. It made me chuckle: (click on the underlined "Watch on YouTube" link)
  10. Coach, just out of curiosity, is there any market for this? What I mean is, there are people who aren't necessarily willing to pay top dollar for a brand new board by Tudor....but they might be persuaded if say, there were cheaper models that have been restored and then sold - not unlike a used car, LOL. Only reason I ask is because I have some friends who fit into this category. It would be fun to have a league where I live, but unfortunately, not everyone is willing to shell out the big bucks for a really good board.
  11. So, here's the list for the Tournament of Champions (TOC) https://www.thetoc.co/ Are we allowed to just walk into the lobby of the hotel and watch as spectators if we want? Or, do we have to register ahead of time as participants?
  12. Coach D, are other coaches able to contact you by email if they're interested in having teams done for a price? If not, that's no problem, just thought I 'd ask. 😁
  13. Some of us should be scouts. We could go and scout the coach's he'll by playing against and try to pick up on their tendencies and which plays they run the most. πŸ˜‚
  14. Touchdown! πŸˆπŸ‘ŠπŸ’ͺπŸŽˆπŸŽ‰
  15. Team Pneumonia may not know it yet, but they don't have a chance against Coach Harris's defense. The D-Line especially is stout! Team P may keep it close in the first half, but it's gonna' be a second half blowout as Coach Harris will undoubtedly be heading to the Championship for repeat title. πŸ’―πŸ†πŸˆ
  16. 🀣 Exactly. Good on ya' though for standing your ground bro....πŸ’ͺ
  17. Coach, when I was in Junior College, some guy (I think one of the coaches) paid me like 20 bucks to do the scoreboard. Now, mind you, it was the big electronic scoreboard on the wall which is operated by sitting at the scoreers table on the sideline (it wasn't too complicated). My point is, there might a local kid in the neighborhood who might be willing to comply for lets say - some ice cream and some jujubes...... and at the same time, you could be planting a seed for some future competition? πŸ˜‚πŸ€
  18. Good afternoon Coaches. Electric football is Awesome, but our health is more important. Currently, we have a coach on the injured reserve list, so I just thought it would be cool to let him know we’re wishing the best for him. Hey Coach Chris Harris. Coaches on the Tudor Forum heard you are in a tough scrimmage with Pneumonia, but we know who will come out victorious here. Just letting you know we’re in the stands cheering for you!
  19. When I was growing up and playing ball in the Rec leagues, they always had scoreboards like this, LOL. It may a bit of an overkill for E.F., but this might be fun just for old times sake:
  20. Coach, am I able to ask what kind of phone you have? The reason I'm asking is because I know sometimes the apps don't align with the technology in that they're outdated. I kept the same android phone for like 10 years before finally upgrading a year or two ago, so I'm thinking the app can't run with more recent stuff since it's been around since 2018 (new for me and you - but old for technology, LOL). Paper and pencil works for me with scorekeeping, but it might be nice to have an automated timekeeper counting down so you can hear the clock while looking at your offense/defense while making adjustments.....
  21. Tudor has advertised on it's website something called the: "Electric Football Challenge" The Electric Football Challenge for those unfamiliar with it is an app designed to help improve gameplay be keeping track of time between plays like a tournament rules call for whether you're playing solo or with a friend. It also keeps track of the score and several other features like completion percentages for those who want a computer to determine completions/incompletions instead of the traditional methods. My problem so far is being able to download it. Whenever I try to, it just say: There are no eligible devices. And the email given for support no longer provides service this product. Does anyone know how this thing works and/or which devices are eligible for using it? It looks like a great device, but I simply can't get it to work. Thanks, Brian P.S. Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SteamrollerStudios.ElectricFootballCompanion
  22. Coach T43? Or Professor T43? πŸ€”πŸ‘¨β€πŸ«
  23. That's good stuff Coach. Kind of reminds me of 2 a days in High school with all those drills πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« I think what I'll have to do is basically the same thing, except I'll use the Power bases against the Strength bases and the Strength bases against the Speed bases....but with a slight twist. What if I make the Speed bases a gram or two heavier than the Strength bases and the Strength bases slightly heavier than the Power bases? Perhaps more than 1 gram? How much more will it take for the faster base to out block the stronger one? Vegas is now setting odds... Some other dude, I think he used to repair the Cable TV, once said: "Git R Done!" 🀠
