  1. Kenny Mayne is a 27 year veteran of ESPN and tonight is his last SportsCenter show. Kenny lives here in the Seattle area and we know he used to play Electric Football with Stuart Scott, who tragically passed away after a bout with cancer. Kenny is having several friends and fellow Seattle-connected guests on the show, including Marshawn Lynch and Sue Bird. We put together a special game for Kenny and we are optimistic that the game will be presented to Kenny on the show. You never know with this kind of thing, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Hoping that he gets our gift and enjoys

  2. Yes, we have a lot of teams out of stock right now. There are three main reasons for that: 1. The pandemic made tabletop games even more popular, and we had a great year last year; 2. The pandemic is making it difficult to source our materials for our products, this is finally improving; 3. We have a big announcement coming regarding NFL and College (yes college) team sets. I cannot share the details, but it’s pretty exciting and we’re working hard to get product available so that when we announce, you’ll be able to buy it that same day. Thank you for your patience. We

  3. In the opening game of the 2021 season, the world champion Thunderbolts defeated the visiting Hawks, 31 - 21. The Thunderbolts are coming off an undefeated, untied 2020 season (being only the second team to have a perfect record in 28 years), and remain unbeaten to this point. Thunderbolts' QB #7 stared slow, but came on to finish with 2 TD passes (both to TE #82), and RB #27 had 197 yds rushing in a dominating performance. Besides #82's 2 TDs, #27 (40 yds) and #23 (51 yds) both had rushing TDs. On defense, the T-bolts had 2 sacks and an interception (FS #20). The Hawks, except for 2 lo

  4. I would agree and sometimes I don't think people realize what it takes to build your own board. However, there is also a certain amount of self satisfaction in building your own board.

  8. Hugs and handshakes to all our electric football Brothers and sisters! The Long Island electric football league will kick off its 50th season in August after an amazing 20/20 season. We also want to congratulate our United Brothers of electric football worldwide for keeping the tradition alive. We especially would like to thank the innovative ideas of Chris LeMay for his national electric football museum initiative. For those of you who follow our league there was quite an argument about the league becoming a no stop League. Our league moves the ball very fast as it is with only one stop

  9. Starting the final round of the regular season. First match-up; Pittsburgh at Cleveland. I found a sandwich bag of styrofoam and shredded paper with my players and remembered that I use to use it as "snow" on the field. So this being the final week of the season, lake effect winter conditions would prevail. So it's a snow covered field at Municipal Stadium. Almost makes me want to put a coat on! Additionally I'm using my old 660 board with a few rust spots on the field to simulate the less than perfect conditions. The Steelers (2-2) are coming off a 37-0 thrashing of the Cowboys. The Browns (

  12. That must have been confusing, having two Gene Washingtons on the field at once! 😊 Both pretty good wide outs. Nice getting both of them in the same picture!

  18. Why do all that when they are sold here ready to go?

  19. I time each quarter to 45 minutes (except championship game, which is 48 minutes per). This allows for the exchange of offensive and defensive units. Thus, an entire game lasts 3 hours, about the same time as a live game. The number of plays, of course, will vary.

  21. To MHX, re: international shipping to Germany. Do you live near any US military installations or have friends who are US service members? If so, there may be a few who share your enthusiasm for Tudor Games Electric Football products and possibly willing to receive items shipped to you in their care. They receive mail and packages from the US and other countries regularly, so maybe they could help you. Good luck!

  23. Thank you so much my brother! In a few weeks we will pick a favorite to win it all! I think it's going to be the Los Angeles Chargers or Los Angeles Rams! And late July it'll be time to talk electric football again!

  24. Some of you may or may not remember the website "Football Uniforms Past and Present". Before there was the "Gridiron Uniform Database", this was the site to go to for historical NFL uniform reference pics. Through the efforts of Lynn "Weirdwolf" Schmidt aqnd the authors of "Gridiron Uniform Datatbase" this website has been restored. Here is a blog article regarding this. The Gridiron Uniform Database: A Bit of Nostalgia (nfluniforms.blogspot.com) And here is a link to the restored website. Football Uniforms Past and Present (gridiron-uniforms.com)

  25. The 72 packers led by the running of John Brockington and receiving of Leland Glass and MacArthur lane beat the 65 packers 17-14 on Chester Marcol’s game winning field goal. Shows you how good they could be without “Devine” intervention. Next up the 72 pack vs the 83 pack and Lynn Dickey.

  29. I recently had the opportunity to travel to Pittsburgh, PA to purchase a large collection of vintage gameboards from a long time collecter. It really is not the policy of the museum to make large purchases like this, but since we are just in the beginning stages of setting up the museum, I decided to make an exception in this case. Here are a few pics. My goal for the museum is to have at least one example of every gameboard from each period of the history of electric football and at least one of every variation in mint or as near mint condition as I can get. Making this purcahse went a

  31. As you can see the Ultimate Board is very capable of swift, fast action if that's what you are looking for. I love to see a figure burn thru 100 yards in less than 4 seconds, but would not scrimmage or play games at this speed. I have 2 motors running my Ultimate Board. Glad to see that option available now for anyone who would like to add the extra motor. You will need to adjust your motors and find the two spots under your board that gives the best all around action for your speed guys. I started out with each motor under the 20 yard line on opposing sides of the board. The motors wer

  32. The motors were loud from being turned up above 3/4 speed. Referring to the question in a previous comment of one motor cancelling out the other with competing vibrations I would have to leave that to the experts. Using one motor I had spots on my board where the figure would slow down. I added the 2nd motor in hopes of having more uniform speed from goal line to goal line which that additional motor provided. At one time I actually had 4 motors hooked up and the board didn't perform as well as it did with two motors. I have an electromagnetic motor on my Ultimate Board now. I am having

  33. Tudor could also add to the accessory pack some passing sticks like coach Shawn created. Heck they could offer a separate electric solitaire football accessory pack which would be awesome for the start up electric football coach who is trying to find his way into this hobby and has nobody to guide him. (Sort of like myself, I would have so added that to my Patriots Superbowl game board when I put my order in. )

  34. Yeah it would be so cool if Tudor created and accessory pack that had penalty flags, ball marker magnets and league sanctioned training sleds and such as a kit with a decal pack of your favorite NFL team or NCAA team. I would give them my support 🙂

  35. This is the first setup I tried with both motors. My problem was my figures would run goal to goal in between the hash marks and in the opposite direction would turn to the right about the 20 yard line. Not every figure, but too many to suit me. Now the motors are in the corner of each opposing end zone pointed toward each other. When running one motor I had the motor at the 50 yard line about 2 inches from the edge of the board.
