  1. Fix: Lay the board facedown on a flat surface, and use a hair dryer on high heat to make the adjustment. Once the field is straightened, remove from heat and allow to set in a cool, dry place for 24 hours.
  2. I do, I have the 67 BM League that's on this page. That's my Solitaire League. I used a system called the Cumulative Weight Distribution (CWD) system to add weight to players to make teams very distinct. I used to play a lot of APBA, but gave it all away about a year ago. I ran a league for it here in South Louisiana for a while back in the 90's. If you're doing the original 8 AFL teams, that might be a great vehicle for CWD. A great source for all things AFL is www.remembertheafl.com
  3. Jayd: From a long time EF'er and long time APBA player with a similar love of the AFL, how about a few suggestions - 1. Use the QB cards from the teams to determine pass completion. 2. Use the play cards from the game to determine offensive play selection, and develop a few for Defense. 3. Take a look at the posts here on the forum about passing sticks, I think you may find that pretty exciting. 4. There are lots of charts and different applications here that you can take a look at and try it on. Explore around, have some fun, and do what you like. If you have a question, one of our great forum folks will be able to give an answer.
  4. 5. Let's see - New Orleans Area - Packers vs. Bears - 2 long-time coaches who always have their games go down to the last play. Baton Rouge - Myself vs. John Oubre's Patriots - It started with Buffalo, and continued with New York. One game was a 63-56 burner with 2 overtimes!

pastorMike, I'm sure a quick Google search will answer that question for you.
  7. We're setting up to start actual classes, but I also have to mirror it all for online. I teach at a Catholic Elementary School.
  8. It can be pretty quick. In the meantime, we've still got these - https://tudorgames.com/electric-football-11-reg-size-men-in-maroon-yellow-away-uniform-7-24-w.html
  9. Hey Paul: Try Blood Red and Cyan Blue from the Tudor Paint Store. Look under the "Customize" tab. If you're following Doc Smeby's spirit, that logo should be hand painted. It was a point of personal pride with him.
  10. Thanks! Now if I can get all my school stuff done, I can start Season 2!
  11. The plastic used on TTQB's is polystyrene, which is what allows the TTQB to work well, but there's a lot of room for breaking. You can also use a drop of rubber cement with your drop of Crazy Glue. When the glue bonds and the cement cures (after about a day) you will have a very strong ankle.
  12. Paul: Before I paint, the first thing I do to TTQB's is apply a drop of Crazy Glue to the fixed leg ankle. It helps a lot. If you are truly feeling ambitious, try the following: Take a small straight pin and heat it. Once it's heated, stick the pin up through the bottom of the plastic under the shoe, attempting to get the heated metal up to around the ankle. Cut off the remaining pin from the bottom with a set of diagonal cutters. I had one of these work for me and that TTQB worked without fail for around 15 years. It was a spectacular kicker.
  13. Try to avoid painting the inside of the fixed (non-kicking) leg, and the inside of the detachable kicking leg. The paint can be a hindrance to the motion of the kick.
  14. Those poor visitor Chargers look like they could use a new cleaning contract. The word is "well played".
  15. I got my Jets and Powder Blue Bolts in today! They are clean!
  16. Here's some crazy creation teams that I've put together over the years - Photo 1: The Darkstar Dragons: From an old Sega Football Game, these guys are green and have tails! Photo 2: The Bogalusa Bygones: Old figures and Fab 5's make this a team straight from a bygone era of football! Photo 3: The Federation RedShirts: From the final frontier, these guys come ready to play! Photo 4: The Regula Robots: From a distant planet, these 'bots come ready to conquer humanity on the gridiron! Photo 5: The Zom-Squad: I built this team from a leftover bunch of 40K skeletons and some of my leftover broken Fab 5 guys. Re-purposing at its best.
  17. I'm with ya - The Haiti Repro Colts and Jets looked amazing.

All right, all right - Here's the rest of the teams on the board. I kept it in High-res, so zoom away. What I'm showing here is that not all football players are 6' 2" and weight 280 pounds. The sizes of players in the NFL have some variance, as the players shown below have. But that's not to say that they can't all play together on the same field, because they can!
