  1. These look awesome, I really like the TCU shade of Purple. My High School basically looked like the Packers but with a paw print on the helmet so it wouldn't be worth painting. 😆 If you don't mind my asking, is one of those players based on you?
  2. I think these will be just fine for 'Phins unis. One of my cousins is a huge Miami fan, and he's had jackets that were more or less that same shade of green. And don't even get me started on the crappy Panthers jackets I see around here with every shade of blue known to man. Play on! 😁
  3. For anyone interested, here's my general criteria for picking out teams: 1) Each team is (for the most part) in a location without an NFL or CFL team. I also tried to avoid areas with hugely popular MLB, or NHL teams, because Indoor Football strikes me as a better sport with more loyal fans when it's played in under-served sports communities. 2) Each team is located in an area that has a hockey arena, ice rink, convention center, or other similar sized venue that could theoretically be used as an indoor football field based on overall dimensions- I kind of bent that rule a bit for KCR, as the nearest big convention center is technically not within the historical definition of "Conch Republic" (and is not quite in Key West either), but that definition has already changed a few times and heck maybe they will claim some new territory in the future. 😆 3) No teams from my home state of North Carolina - I want to be a fair commissioner with no accusations of favoritism 😆. Honestly though, this is because it always bugged me how the NHL Commissioner headquarters are in Toronto, the NFL's is in NYC, etc when those areas have teams. Therefore, the ESIFA HQ is in Raleigh, NC (I don't exactly live there, but figured it would be the place I'd set up an office in if I ever did this for real), and there will never be a team within 150 miles of there if I can help it (sorry, southern Virginia and northern South Carolina, nothing personal 😉). Let me know below how many of the teams break these rules so I can beat myself up about it and possibly make some changes AGAIN. 😆
  4. Thank Bob! The ESIFA is a solitaire league, though I'd be interested in making it a multiplayer league down the road if I could find people around me who were interested. I'm not super competitive though so I wouldn't really want to do it as a Tournament or anything. The Conch Republic is a sort of tongue-in-cheek micronation in Key West Florida. I cheekily decided to make them an "International" league, because at the time I only had 6 teams. 😁 Here's the website: https://conchrepublic.com/ It's funny that you mention silver for Monterrey, as I originally was planning on using the team that became Montana for that same reason. I ended up switching to orange and blue because I figured, based on each areas' Soccer/College Football uniforms, that orange would make more sense for a Mexican-based team than a Montana-based one. I do like the idea of using some silver for numbers or stripes though. I haven't had a lot of progress yet, but once I finish each team I will post them here. 👍
  5. This is excellent, I love learning about D-Line Stunts, Twists, etc. If I was about 3 or 4 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier I would have loved playing D Line in highschool. 😁
  6. That pass looks like it's even more of an arch than a TTQB, which already overthrows worse than Cam Newton. 😆 I guess with anything though, you can train yourself to use it with practice. Is the range any further than the TTQB?
  7. I finally got this to download, and have to say I'm in love with the Tendencies tally sheet. I'm going to use them for my games for certain, even for solitaire play it's a quick way to track what you've called so you can keep yourself honest and mix it up. Thanks, Coach!
  8. That was kind of my thought as well. A Secondary that doesn't let the WRs off the line is most likely holding. 🤔
  9. Alright, I know this seems like I have ADD or something, but I promise this should be the last redesign of field covers. Inspired by Presidents' Day, I changed the American Field to color coordinate with the flag colors in the logo and added colors and graphics to the end zones of both fields. I also added six stars to symbolize the six American League teams as well as alluded to the US Flag itself. I decided to use Turquoise for the International one because at least half the teams are coastal and/or islands, so it reminded me of water especially with the transparency boosted up. The Giant C in the middle was just because it looked super bare with nothing, but I also didn't like the logos being there since they distorted the hash marks. Since the CFL has the Center Field markings, I figured a C would be best. Hopefully this is the absolute final design, and I can concentrate on the sideboards for now. 👍
  10. I like the enthusiasm, kind of like the 2000s XFL. For Touchbacks, I'm going to experiment with doing 1 point "Rogues" like in the CFL, but because kicks are from the goal line and my board is 42 inches Long, I may not have to worry about it. I'm torn about fair-catches though; I'd like to have them so that there's an option for a fair-catch kick, but they are kind of the wussy way out.... pretty bad when a former kicker says that, but still. 😋 Awesome! I don't have a jersey but I do have a shirt with the Triangle Torch logo on it (they played in one of those Indoor leagues that has probably shutdown or changed names by now). Always wanted to go to a proper AFL game, RIP.
  11. Definitely, I played special teams in High School (Punter and Kickoff Specialist) and while I get that they cause injuries, running 250+lb men into each other over and over again is kind of the whole point of football. Kickoffs are the perfect representation of that concept, and are also the last real connection it has to it's rugby and soccer roots. Like you said, the thing I like about Electric Football is that plastic doesn't get CTE, and hopefully never breaks on the field period. Therefore, we can restore some of the rules that the Real Life Leagues keep taking out, like kickoffs from the 30 and fewer touchback incentives. For instance, in my league (which is modeled heavily after the AFL) I plan to bring back kicks off being live after hitting the sideboards, which the AFL removed after a player died while colliding with the boards trying to recover them. It made onside kicks almost impossible, and I do understand the safety aspect of it IRL, but plastic can handle it. 👍
  12. Big update today, I took the plunge and bought an Ultimate Play controller, the Tudor cables for the splitter/motors, and the Tudor 6 Volt Center Positive (I think) power supply! This supply chain crunch has made all the electronics I'd normally buy super scarce and expensive, so Tudor is actually cheaper than buying direct. All of my spare power supplies are either 9 or 12 Volts and Center Negative, and I didn't feel like cutting into them and trying to do a bunch of resistors, step down, etc when I could just drop $16 and be done with it. This basically just leaves the Field Covers and sideboards being printed, the plexiglass "nets" to be purchased and cut, and the framing to be built, then we'll start having some exhibition matches while I do the painting and other tertiary tasks. 😁 Lastly, I decided to go the easy route and buy some of those LED light strips with the color changing remote. For some reason I forgot they existed until a couple of days ago. I will still wire up something for a pair of Time Out Indicators if I'm still able to. 👍
  13. Man, that's some excellent blocking by the hogs in front! Even without the stop-forward-motion tackling, it looks like you can gain some yards pretty quickly if your figures hit right. How do onside kickoffs work in your system?
  14. Decided to give the American field a final update, moved the logo to the center and made the markers black to contrast with the White logo better. Let me know what you think. 👍
  15. Just a quick update, I changed the colors up a bit. I should hopefully have some pictures in the next couple of weeks. 👍
