  1. With the hardware and software you have I doubt you'll mess up much. 🤞 Don't forget to fix the waterslide paper after you print. That's the step I usually forget because I'm so anxious to start applying the decals. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  2. End of First Quarter: 14 — 14. ⚠️ WARNING: If you like tough defensive struggles this game may cause extreme emotional distress. 😜 Oughtin' Otters vs Red Peg Rhinos First Quarter - SD 480p.mov Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  3. I live in Wyoming so I have first dibs on the Sky Elks. I just created a Wyoming team, the Jackson Jackalopes, but they haven't played yet. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  4. Hi GreenBay Glen. I was living in Waukesha when Brett Favre and Green Bay won SuperBowl XXXI 😃 and lost Super Bowl XXXII 😪 The software I use is Photoshop and my computer is an iMAC. My printer is an inkjet Epson ET 15000. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  5. I have NFL Game Pass and the NFL is featuring 20 minutes of John Elway's highlights. Some of those highlights were against the Steel Curtain. 👍 Kind of reminded me of your Super Bowl 16, Coach Bob. I felt like I was reading a Sports Illustrated recap! 📖 Enjoy the Journey. T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  6. Wow. I've never read this before. Thank you! So now I'm reading the Procedures with new insight. For example, 4. Offense may, "pick up, turn the dial on three TTC bases (or brush the prongs on rookie bases), and then place the players back on the field in the exact same spot and orientation," and declares run, pass, or continue. Defense may, "pick up, turn the dial on three TTC bases (or brush the prongs on rookie bases), and then place the players back on the field in the exact same spot and orientation." Which is considerably different and better than the TOC Pivot / Motion definitions. The 1949 definition predates TTC bases by 15 years, and couldn't have predicted TTC, however, I like the 1949 definition because it features the element of offensive surprise and the defense tries to anticipate what the surprise will be. Kind of like the Raiders / Redskins in Super Bowl 18. "Raiders Defensive Coordinator Charlie Sumner remembered that when the Redskins were in a similar situation during a 37-35 victory over the Raiders during the season, Theismann faked a screen pass to the left before throwing a screen to running back Joe Washington on the right side and the play went for 67 yards. So, Sumner sent backup linebacker Squirek into the game for starter Matt Millen and told him to “follow Washington wherever he goes.” This time, Theismann faked the screen to the right, spun around, and threw it toward Washington on the left. However, Squirek was waiting and leaped into the air to intercept the pass, which he turned into a five-yard touchdown that gave the Raiders a 21-3 halftime lead, and the competitive phase of the game was over." Raiders Today. Tom LaMarre, Feb. 25, 2023. Enjoy the Journey. T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  7. I just read the article by Al Dunham's Wife in Tweak. Both articles are very funny. Thanks for the link. I use Sunnyscopa Waterslide Decal Paper for INKJET Printers - WHITE. CLEAR is available but I only use white and I match the jersey color for the perimeter. No need for underpainting as is illustrated with the yellow paint in Tweak. After I've sealed the decal I sometimes use an ultra fine Sharpie to improve the saturation. Enjoy the Journey. Terry43 ⚡🏈♾️
  8. Welcome back GreenBayGlenn. I remember reading your posts, Ravenna Al's posts, and Paul Kian's posts, but I only joined the Forum recently. The Posts were very inspirational! Here are my current teams: 🚀 Space-inspired teams: the Suncats, the Sirens of Titan, the Luna Bears, the Arctic Vortex, and the Meteor, 🦏 Animal-inspired teams: the Red Rhinos, the Oughtin' Otters, the Blue Jays, the Golden Grizzlies, and the Big Horn Rams. 🧜‍♀️ Mythology-inspired teams: the Knights in White Satin, the Christmas Spirit, the Shamrock Bay, the Valkyries, the Angels of Avalon, the Quick and the Dead, and the Norsemen. 🏎️ Car-inspired teams: Iron Horse, the GTO, and the Thunderbirds. I'm planning for my next season to be called the Hunger Games and the teams will be from the 12 districts. Enjoy the Journey Terry43 ⚡🏈♾️
  9. The off/adjust/on sequence does seem to... I'm curious if 'adjust' means 'pivot', or is there a broader definition of adjust? Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  10. Hi Daryl. I gave you the orthodox methods of adding weight. Adding weight is one of my favorite subjects and — of course — I'm anything but orthodox. I bring all my players up to at least 5 grams because — 5 grams is like breaking the sound barrier — the weight enables all kinds of bases to compete equally. I do this by adding a #6 screw, a #6 washer, and a #6 nut. Here's the video. Bringing my players up to 5 grams - SD 480p.mov My players are over regulation weight (4 grams) so I can't compete in most leagues. However, NO DAVE has a league that allows added weight but I probably can't compete in that league because the screw and nut protrude above the player platform. When passing with a Triple-Threat QB, the screw and nut give my receivers added surface area to complete passes. I use dice for passing so once again I'm unorthodox. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  11. Hi Daryl, If you are playing solitaire, then you set the minimum and maximum weight. In my solitaire league the minimum weight requirement is 5 grams. In competitive play like the Tournament of Champions the maximum is about 4 grams. This is a Weighting 101 video. Adding weight to a base starts at about the 5 minute mark. I have the AWS scales. ⚖️ Same one as in the video. I've found my scale to be very consistent. It's so sensitive that I have to be careful not breath on it. 👃 Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  12. Neither team could slam the door on the other team. The Christmas Spirit won 35 to 31, but 4 or 5 more seconds on the clock and this game might have gone the other way. In 2004 (Season 22) the Thunderbirds won the Fruit Bowl and they had four receivers who could score from any where on the field. The receivers, WR #3, WR #13, TE #82, and TE #87 ran straight as arrows. In 2004 both of these plays in today's game — by WR #3 — would've been easy touchdowns for #3. Little plastic football players get old too. - SD 480p.mov Little plastic football players get old too. I guess that's why I don't have a Hall of Fame. So, the upstart Christmas Spirit advance to the Playoffs and the old timers, the Thunderbirds, wait to see who their opponent will be from the other side of the brackets. Christmas Spirit vs Thunderbirds — Fourth Quarter Christmas Spirit vs Thunderbirds Fourth Quarter - SD 480p.mov Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  13. Third quarter is in the books. Thunderbirds Tailback #37 is a rookie and he already has 131 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Christmas Spirit Wide Receiver/Kick Returner #3 is keeping the Christmas Spirit alive. #3 has 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns and a 33 pass reception for a touchdown. Christmas Spirit vs Thunderbirds Third Quarter - SD 480p.mov Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  14. Here's the Second Quarter. 🔇 I remembered to turn the audio off. 😃 The Thunderbirds had a chance to score a go ahead touchdown and then receive the Second Half Kickoff, but a Coverage Sack cost them 17 yards. They used up the clock trying to recover from that sack. Christmas Spirit vs Thunderbirds Second Quarter - SD 480p.mov Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  15. 🔊 Forgot to take the sound out. 🔊 Very sorry. 🔇 You may wish to turn your speakers off or risk permanent damage. 🫠 Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈 ♾️
  16. Round Two, Game 5, of my Double Elimination Tournament features the Christmas Spirit and the Thunderbirds. I'm uploading the First Quarter highlights now and I'll finish the Second Quarter tonight. Look for the Second Quarter highlights in the morning. 17. I found good homes for the bases. 😃👍 The 160 Tudor double-clip bases are no longer available. Thank you T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  18. I have a Saskatchewan Roughriders football jersey, and... ... A Hamilton Tiger-Cat football jersey. So, I'd go for at least two! Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️ More im
  19. Pittsburgh Steelers 16 13-3-1 Coach: Chuck Noll Minnesota Vikings 6 12-5 Coach: Bud Grant Sunday Jan 12, 1975 Start Time: 3:00pm Arrrgh. I was wearing purple on January 12, 1975. 😪 I do like that the Vikings are in the AFC in your league. This should read, Coach Bob Davis decides to go for it on 4th and 8. Good call coach! Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  20. I would like to find a home for these Tudor double-clip bases. No charge. I'll mail them Monday, June 26 and I'll pay postage. If you would like them please message me. If two people want them I'll split them. If three people want them I'll divide them in thirds. Etc. I got them in a garage sale on 5-22-1997, but I don't have a clue how old they are. They don't appear to be tweaked. It fact, it doesn't appear they were ever played with. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  21. I can feel it! Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  22. Awesome. 😃 So many questions. What is the significance of Kevin's Field. Could the game be personalized? Is the Gale Sayers' autograph printed, or real? Who is Don Kingston? Is that signature real? Thank you for curating the Museum. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  23. Yes. I'm a big fan of your uniforms! Especially the Testors Sky Blue. ⚔️⚔️⚔️ 💙 Gladiators! ⚔️⚔️⚔️ Question: Is the QB the same for both teams? Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  24. I agree. I got the call wrong. ☹️ If you don't mind, I'm going to add your exact wording to my existing Stop-Forward-Progress rules. It will become 1.C.iv. The discussion of Laterals on this Forum prompted me to add 1.C.ii. With every game the nuances are getting clearer. 😃 👍 Enjoy the Journey. T43 ⚡🏈♾️ Rules for STOP FORWARD PROGRESS Tackling 1. TACKLING 1A. Stopping Forward Progress i. Forward progress is measured by the foremost part of the ball carrier’s base. At times the foremost part of the base will be a back corner. (SEE 1.C.i) ii. Forward Progress is moving at any angle between zero and 90 degrees beyond the starting position of the ball carrier, inclusive. 90˚ | | 0˚ ——————— 0˚ (SEE 1B. Quarterback Dropping Back To Pass for exception.) iii. Starting position is the place where the ball carrier is standing when the Motion Generator is turned on. (SEE 1B. Quarterback Dropping Back To Pass for exception.) iv. The closest player when Forward Progress is stopped is credited with the tackle. v. When the ball carrier’s teammate stops Forward Progress of the ball carrier then the ball carrier is down at the point forward progress stopped. (For further development SEE 1.C. ) vi. Crossing the boundary line stops the Forward Progress of the ball carrier. vii. When the ball carrier begins to curve back toward it’s starting position when the Motion Generator is turned on, then the ball carrier has voluntarily terminated forward progress. The ball carrier is down at the point forward progress stopped. viii. The sides of the ball carrier’s base moving lateral to the line of scrimmage is considered forward progress. (SEE 1.A.ii., i.e. 0˚ to 90˚) 1B. Quarterback Dropping Back To Pass. i. The forward progress rule doesn’t apply to a quarterback during the drop back to pass. a. A sack occurs when a defensive player: 1. makes contact with a quarterback during the drop back, and, 2. the defensive player changes the trajectory of the quarterback, then, 3. play stops and the quarterback may pass to an open receiver, or take the sack. ii. A quarterback dropping back more than 20 yards from the line of scrimmage is considered sacked by the closest defender. The loss is 17 yards. iii. When the drop back quarterback turns and begins heading toward the line of scrimmage or one of the boundaries, then the Forward Progress rule comes into effect. (See: 1.A.i. — 1.A.vii.) 1C. Teammate Stops Forward Progress 1.A.v. expansion i. When a ball carrier is backwards but hasn't stopped moving forward, and the ball carrier’s teammate pushes the ball carrier backwards, but the progress is forward, then forward progress is continuing until such time as Forward Progress of the ball carrier stops. ii. When the ball carrier runs into the back of a teammate’s base and Forward Progress stops then the ball carrier has the option pitch or lateral to a previously designated player. Previous designation is determined by placing a football under the pitch or lateral receiving player's arm before the Motion Generator is turned on. This pertains to: a. Quarterback bootlegs. b. Sweeps. c. Screen Passes. iii. 1.A.v. does not apply to Quarterbacks sitting in the pocket.
  25. My commissioner (my wife) says your commissioner won't have a single minute of regret and my commissioner is certain you're having much more fun! First off, with a Bass boat you'd have to stop at the Invasive Species Checkpoint. I've never had to have my football fields checked for invasive species. Except invasive species like the Arizona Cardinals! 😃 ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Go Saints! ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
