That’s the fun part of the game in my opinion. Can the personality of the Ravens team with a lot of Lamar Jackson runs beat the personality of the Chargers with Herbert throwing to Williams, Allen and Quentin Johnson with Ekelar as a great running and receiving RB? My match-ups definitely contain that kind of imagination.

Honestly, the thought has never crossed my mind. But, I’d hate to take a player and base out of my entire season.

I allow it, but just 5 seconds runs off the clock if the opposing team takes a TO. The clock still stops after 15 seconds, forcing the team to take another knee, and so on.

I’m a long way from getting enough bases for every team, since I play a 4 game season with all 32 NFL teams. maybe I can have that by next year and have some sort of draft for the new bases.

How does everyone do their base draft? I need to get that set up in my league.

Any advice on these old bases from the 80s? Their prongs are super rigid.

I got a couple of proline fast bases going really well. I didn’t use an Emory board, but I focused on all 8 prongs touching the field at a 90 degree angle. I’m about to start a new topic on old bases.

Any advice on tweaking proline fast bases? I can get them straight, but I’m not doing very well on the “fast” aspect. lol

I tend to overcompensate I think. I’ve thought about going to a dice or card system, but I would want to do it in a way that let a team keep its own personality, In my first season back after 35 years, I found that my initial gut feeling is what I felt best going with on those indecisive outcomes.
