  1. Great info! Where do you get the camera slider?
  2. Does anyone use phones, tablets, etc to video their games for highlights and review plays? If so, what devices do you use and how do you mount them?
  3. I actually just received some red pegs in an eBay auction of Haiti figures. I haven’t tried to run them yet though
  4. I’m considering trying a couple of games in my solitaire offseason where a fully engaged defensive player cannot make a tackle. Maybe even a partially engaged defender facing another direction. it doesn’t seem right for the OL to blow a big hole only to have a defender to tackle the runner by the back of a defender’s base. I’ll just have to tinker with the details.
  5. I think your idea is great, but I’d just rather have the tie breaking procedure.
  6. I’m thinking maybe there’s a happy medium somewhere. Maybe a solid front of base contact by a LB or DB in open field could be a tackle also? Wouldn’t stop the forward progress, but allow for an “athletic” tackle.
  7. Maybe we can think of something. I’d like for it to look nice
  8. This is a great idea. However, there were 3 teams tied for the last wildcard spot last year. So, if you did play-in games, you would still need a way to see which team got the bye in a 3-way play-in.
  9. What does everyone consider a tackle? I’m seeing several different things come up in conversations such as forward progress, ‘electric slide”, front of base only, and only when the base is not moving down the field anymore at all.
  10. The room where I keep my ultimate board is a bonus room converted from a garage. The room is on a gentle slant, so obviously the table is also. I managed to level it out for my last season, but I really didn't like the way in which I did it. It looked sloppy. Does anyone have any good ideas about something that could be inserted on the legs of the board to adjust the height?
  11. What are the pros and cons of Tudor vs ITZ motors?
  12. Combined record of the opposing teams in games won
  13. Strength of win might be better than strength of schedule actually
  14. All 32 teams in the same divisions in real life. I’m more worried about the wildcard spots. In comfortable with my divisional tie breakers. im thinking now about possibly strength of schedule
  15. I’m okay with my division tiebreaker rules. But with just 4 games a season, there are several teams at 2-2 vying for wildcards. Using inconference tiebreakers could take the importance of beating a 3-1 out of conference the and letting a team who beat an 0-4 in conference team into the playoffs. It didn’t work out too badly this season, but I can definitely see that scenario happening in the future.
  16. Does anyone know what kind of paint was used in Haiti era? I have chips in paint of 4 or 5 figures and would like to repair them. I’d be grateful for any suggestions!
  17. As, I've written several times, last years was my first solitaire league in 35 years. As I did back in the 80s, I played a 4 game schedule that included 2 divisional games, 1 in conference game and one out of conference games. I also set up the playoffs in the current NFL 14 team set-up. In seeding the playoffs, I also went by current NFL tiebreaking procedures. However, it obviously made the out-of-conference game less important than the inconference games. Any suggestions for redoing my tie breaking procedures are welcome!
  18. Since I only used a limited number of bases last year, I gave the home team first picks on the best bases.
  19. Did you still have your season 13 data?
  20. Yes. It took my back to a simpler time. I’ll do some tests from the 5 to get a percentage on those. I’m trying to match the NFL ratio as much as possible
  21. Yeah. I knew that game was the reason. I actually did not remember they had done it until my playoffs were about to start, so I was unprepared. I may have to extend the amount of time in my playoff OTs to decrease the likelihood of a double OT. I’m not sure how I’ll do it yet.
