I still need to play the 2 championship games...eagles vs packers....in the nfl...then play the jets and raiders in the afl...then the 2 winners meet in the super bowl....so 3 games are left....im going to play the eagles and packers tonight or tomorrow night.

The packers move on to play the winner of the AFL CHAMPIONSHIP match between the raiders and the jets......great star players represented include : for the packers...31 jim taylor...63 fuzzy thurston...89 dave robinson...5 paul hornung.....15 bart starr.and 24 willie wood.....representing the eagles....18 ben hawkins...44 pete retzlaff...60 chuck bednarik....37 tom woodeshek....and 82 tim rosavich.

....eagles missed a 48 yd fg on last play of regulation....taylor scored the games first td and had a long run in overtime period that helped lead to short fg to win the game...bednarik didnt get to sit on him this time...good tough game.

I think ill play the raiders and jets tonight ....then play the super bowl early in the week....i have 2 sets of dark jets....im using the more common 3 stripe jets this game....the one stripe jets were made in the first run hoglegs in late 1968 ...much harder to find....the white raiders were one of the rarest of all hogleg teams....i guess millions if boys bought the black jersey ones and not near as many bought the white jersey version.

Touchdowns ...Interceptions...a blocked punt...an onside kick recovered by the kicking team...a touchdown scramble by an old gimpy leg qb......a kickoff return for another td......when the smoke cleared the jets beat the raiders 28 to 21......the jets move on to meet the packers in capanther super bowl XXXIII. .......some great former jets and raiders include : 12 joe namath....41 matt snell...32 emerson boozer....87 pete lammons.....75 winston hill and 83 george sauer for the jets........21 cliff branch....78 art shell...63 gene upshaw...70 henry lawrence...83 ben davidson...44 marv hubbard...3 daryl lamonica ....25 fred biletnekof and 40 pete banazak for the raiders.....i will put a picture of the jets and packers and a little info on the next post.

Capanther super bowl 33 preview.

The packers have been in 5 previous super bowls winning 3. The jets have been in 8 super bowls winning 3. Whoever wins will join the los angeles rams with the most super bowl wins (4). The packers and jets met once before with the jets winning 6 to 3 in overtime. The packers defeated the lions..bears...49ers..and eagles to get to the super bowl. The jets defeated the oilers...patriots and raiders. Great past players represented include : barr starr...jim taylor...ray nitschke...paul hornung...fuzzy thurston...forrest Gregg ...willie wood....jerry kramer...boyd dowler...and elijah pitts.....great jets players will be joe namath...matt snell...emerson boozer...don maynard...george sauer...bob mathis....verlon biggs...winston hill....randy rasmussen....bob talamani...john schmitt.....it should be another classic.
