  1. People complain about dead spots in the game boards, but it is those dead spots that make these types of plays happen. That is what I love about playing the game. The unpredictability of the play results. No matter how many times you may think you are setting up a play exactly as you did before, there is no quarantee that you are going to get the same result everytime.

  8. In the NFL Goal posts were moved to the back of the end zone in 1974 in response to player safety and long distance field goals were becoming too common place. College football has always had the goal posts at the back of the end zone. That is why you often see game boards that have the holes at the back and on the goal line. It is usually just on the generic models. NFL models prior to 1974 (1967 - 1973) are usually the ones that only have the holes for the goal post at the front of the endzone.
  9. Nice!! Love seeing the vintage game boards still being used played on.

  12. Recently added this original 1967 Model 620 Grandstand Scoreboard with all parts (team name inserts and scoring discs) to the museum collection restored to its original unassembled condition.
  13. So would I. It would probably involve getting a CFL License to do "Official Uniform" teams. But I would definitly like to see a set of "Fab 5" unpainted players - 12 figures. This could very easily be done by adding a wide receiver figure to the current 11 player "Fab 5" sets. That is what I do currently to create Canadian teams. Or I just combine 2 sets of "Fab 5" figures to create a 22 player roster with some players playing both ways. Of course Tudor does already sell the 'Mean 13" sets of unpainted figures. But my favorite figures are the current "Fab 5" Haiti Repros.
  14. Here at the National Electric Football Game Museum we are always discussing how to reach the younger generation and get them involved in playing EF. 16. Absolutely!!! I definitely think it would work well on the Ultimate and Large size game boards but any smaller would be pushng the scale down too small. Just my opinion.
