  1. LOL!! Yeah must be. I haven't played any solitaire in a while, and I needed to expand my league. Will probably expand to 12 teams eventually, adding 2 teams each season until I get there. 12 is about the maximum for this league. I paint teams all the time, usually to resell to raise money for the museum. I just completed a 26-team project of 1960's NFL and AFL teams. So, it was time to do some painting for myself.
  2. I have 3 Nashville Kats teams. The 1998 D uniform and the 2005 D and W uniforms. Miggle China figures but no plans to add them to this league any time soon mainly because all the figures i currently use are Haiti Repros. Just plain white numbers. I mostly keep things as simple as possible.
  3. My philosophy: "One can never have too many bases"
  4. That's just freakin' awesome!!
  5. Getting ready to start Season 2 of the Tennessee Professional Electric Football League with 2 new expansion teams. The 2001 XFL Memphis Maniax and 1995 CFL Memphis Mad Dogs. Also check out the Inaugural Season Official League Record Book TnPEFL Official Record.pdf
  6. Done it several times in the past. Now I usually just spray over with white primer to repaint. Brake fluid is what I have used in the past to remove old paint. Soak overnight, rinse and scrub with a toothbrush to remove any remaining paint. Usually doesn't remove all the paint. so still use a primer on the figures before repainting.
  7. Greg F, the steel bases are the original 1949 bases that are on the original players
  8. Vinnie does use passing sticks most of time in league play. In the Music City EFL everyone has the option to use passing sticks or a TTQB or other fgure made for passing.
  9. The Monday Night Football Stadium was made to fit the Miggle Toys 6072 series of gameboards which are 34 3/4" x 18 1/4" overall with a playing field surface of 32 3/8" x 16" Tudor Games current medium size series 9082 game boards are the closest equivalent to the 6072. They measure 33 1/2" x 17 1/2" overall with a playing field surface of 32" x 16".
  10. On my big board game table, I have levelling legs. For the Ultimate Game board, since I don't really know the construction of it, it would be hard to say. If it is anything like the other Tudor game boards. I would think by filling the cavity in the legs with JB Weld and a threaded insert a leveling leg could be made to work.
  11. Awesome explanation!! Way too technical for me, though. LOL
  12. Keep it relaxed and fun. That's what I like to hear. Too many of the highly competitive leagues and tournaments have taken the fun out of the game.
  13. I prefer the "stopping forward progress" rule.
  14. Congratulations to Cannon Ferrel, winner of the Tudor Games Electric Football Game set.
  15. Awesome video!! Thanks fot posting. Love what you have done. I agree a lot of the art of electric football is in the box graphics. Unfortunately I don't have that many boxes that are in good enough condition to display. For this first public exhibition I was focusing more on the gameboards and game displays themselves as that seems to be what brings back memories to most people of the game. If i get the opportunity to do another public display i will put the focus more in a different direction. Absouletly welcome any suggestions that you may have.
  16. Not sure, but I always thought they used gloss enamels very similar to Testor's Model Car paints. That is what I used when I first started painting figures, 25 years ago. Testor's Model Masters is a good premium enamel paint available at most Hobby Lobby or Micheal's stores.
  17. Awesome!! Thanks for posting. I have downloaded to the nefgm.org website. Hope you don't mind. Includes most of the things that I have always wanted to see included in a rule set. Think you need to do some editing though. Seems like there are several pages that are duplicated. I can definitely see using this as the rule set for a tournament that is more all-inclusive than most. Thanks again Dave!!
  18. IMO Their DDB directional bases were the best. Figures were a good compliment to Tudor's Fab 5. My tournament and league teams are a combination of Buzzball and 67 Big Men figures.
  19. Yes. Helps some but not that much.
  20. Let me know how this turns out. I recently acquired some vinyl numbers once made by Buzzball. Looks like they would have been made with a cricut.
  21. Recently received a donation of this Dogfish Head Brewery Edition Game and finished outfitting the teams in their official Uni-Forms. Thanks to Dogfish Head Brewery for the donation!!
