Very seldom, like none!! It just doesn't happen that often even in the NFL. I did find an instance where the NFL went the entire 1943 season without a safety being scored. For it to happen in solitaire electric football play, it almost has to be an instance of stopping the board to pass with the QB in the end zone and in the pocket with no eligible receiver open. Basically, a coverage sack in the end zone. It really just depends on if your game play allows for things to occur that would normally be considered a safety in real football.

I think that is the first time I have seen that particular piece of paper. Here are some examples form other rules books. Below is what is stated in the 1949 rule book. They are plastic trays that are used to place a player in to make them stationary.

Never used a cigar box for my electric football teams but did have one that I kept a baseball card collection in for years.

I worked in Museums and in fabricating and installing museum exhibits for 14 1/2 years, Never heard of the stuff!!

Absolutely awesome idea!! Love the figures. I use Clear general purpose silicone caulk to attach figures. it can easily be removed later in case you want to use the figures for something else.

Recently acquired the Rules and Instructions for a Gotham G-1502-S NFL "Big Bowl" Electric Football Game. Very interesting in that it includes the instructions for the assembly of the Stadium, a Color Chart for painting the teams in NFL Colors and "Key Plays of All NFL Teams" Gotham G 1502 S Rules and Instructions.pdf.

I highly recommend any of Tudor's game boards. I have always put the motor in one corner of the game board as shown in the instructions that come with the games. Is that the optimum area? Eh... everybody has their own opinion on that. I have never been disappointed with the performance of any of my game boards.

I recently got an inquiry regarding a model 501 Tudor Electric Football game. I had never heard of or know of the existence of a model 501 before this. The only thing we could figure out was that this game contained red and white plastic figures rather than the standard yellow and white figures. the rule book had copyright dates of 1965 / 1966. Can anyone else shed some light on this?

I really have no specific criteria for what I include in the museum. Basically it is anything related to "electric football" and/or Tudor Games. The teams that I paint are "in the tradition of Classic Tudor teams" which is more or less what I imagine a team would look like if it had been painted by one of the factories that Tudor used for their painted teams through out their history.
