  1. I really have no specific criteria for what I include in the museum. Basically it is anything related to "electric football" and/or Tudor Games. The teams that I paint are "in the tradition of Classic Tudor teams" which is more or less what I imagine a team would look like if it had been painted by one of the factories that Tudor used for their painted teams through out their history.
  2. A couple of nice hand painted teams acquired by the Museum this week. Miggle China figures with a couple of Haiti Repros. Thanks to Dan Riley of Belle Plains, KS,
  3. "Closer images of the detail painted electric football figures.,"
  4. Ron Mango posted these pics of his hand painted QB's. "Have a collection of my hand detail painted NFL Teams. I have all 32 Home and Away. Takes about 3 hours to complete a set of 11 figures set. Use a toothpick 5 different brushes and hard as nail clear coat for the helmets."
  5. WOW!! Here is an Awesome Stadium Build by Derek Smith. Built around a 38 x 16 field. Took 196 days to complete...80 x 61 x 23.
  6. I know a lot of you are not on Facebook, but "The 71 Vibe" is an awesome group that features the EFL art of Bill Moreno's solitaire league. Here are some recent pics of his QB's of "The 71 Vibe".
  7. Figure by Scotte "Bricks" Turner.
  8. Joe lives on in electric football. He is and always will be the quarterback of every Viking team I ever have.
  9. No. I wouldn't even try. About the only way I know of to attempt it is to heat with a blow dryer and possibly try to bend back, but then you run the risk of damaging the paint and / or breaking the figure. It is a fairly common thing. I have seen many of them.
  10. Check out the latest blog on the website. https://nefgm.org/2023/05/04/the-grasamke-collection/
  11. Awesome!! Thanks for posting. Have thought about doing it several times, just haven't got to it yet.
  12. Here is Tudor's Official Passing Sticks Rules: Passing Sticks Set (tudorgames.com)
  13. NFL Shield is oriented away from the side of the field that has the speed control and timer graphics. Normally it is oriented towards that side of the field. The side and end rails are the model 645 graphics used in 1973, '74 and '75. The field with out the NFL Shield is a 1972 field commonly used in the 620 NFC game boards.
  14. Going through some game boards and noticed something different about these mid '70's Tudor model 645's. Can you tell me what is abnormal about them?
  15. Fortunately, I was able to meet and talk with George in person several times over the years at various EF events. His products, especially figures and bases, made a major impact on the hobby and are still highly sought after today. I recently saw some of his numbers go for a very high price on eBay. I use his DDB's (Diamond Directional Bases)on several of my teams.
  16. Here's an interesting article I found on the Internet, today. Electric Football: Tabletop Touchdowns (liveauctioneers.com)
  17. Unfortunately, Facebook has become a necessary evil for me in order to keep up with everything that is going on in Electric Football. FB has its pro and cons. I maintain a FB Page for the Museum and administer 3 FB Group Pages in connection with that. "The Electric Football Community", "The National Electric Football Game Museum" public group pages and "The National and International United Brotherhood of Electric Football" private group page. I am also a moderator of the "Music City EFL" private group page. Definitely keeps me busy. I also follow about 20-25 other EF related FB groups as well as several vintage toy groups which EF discussions show up on occasionally. Honestly, you ain't missing anything. I find this forum more informative and engaging than any of those groups.
  18. Maybe but here is how they are depicted on Gridiron Uniform Database. I just use Tudor stick on numbers for my solitaire teams.
  19. Yeah, I thought about that also. Memphis Redbirds, Chattanooga, Lookouts, and Tennessee Smokies are other possible minor league baseball crossovers.
