  1. Don't think Gridiron Dudes is the same as Gridiron Uniforms. I have seen some of his work, mostly way back when college teams.
  2. Yes, I met them in Philadelphia in 1999 when they were just beginning to do the research and work for The Unforgettable Buzz and then in 2014, I met Earl Shores at the Tudor Convention and got a signed Directors Cut copy of The Unforgettable Buzz. I don't think I have his email. and neither one of them are very active on FB. Neither the Unforgettable Buzz website nor Facebook page has been updated in years. Nothing that I have ever read goes into that much detail about the manufacturing process. Roddy Garcia did donate a large amount of information regarding electric football to the Library of the Strong Museum of Play, in Rochester, NY that one could go to and do some research, which I do plan on doing some day.
  3. I know there are several other artists doing the cutom painted teams for Tudor. Todd Stroud, I believe is one, not sure who else is doing them. I don't think Bryan really realized the volume of demand that would be generated by offering this service. I am sure it will slow down after Christmas. I do think that this was a much better option to satisfy the consumer demand for the many new, alternate and throwback uniforms that NFL and College teams are now wearing and the unpredictable popularity of particular teams that Uni-forms was supposed to be the answer for. Hopefully all will get worked out and Tudor is able to contnue to produce a great product with outstanding quality and customer service for many years to come.
  4. Kyle Nutt is the son of Bryan Nutt, current owner of Tudor Games. Kyle has been painting teams and figures ever since he was just a young boy. Here is a display of college teams done for his Dad, several years ago. Here is a Kansas City Chiefs Dark Jersey team done for Tudor Games. I do keep a file on my computer of teams and figures that Kyle paints and I will be posting more later in this thread. Here is a video that I created featuring Kyle and his work for the "Art of the Buzz" EF Art Exhibit Display that I did last year.
  5. Man!! I absolutely love the graphic enhancements that you guys do on the photos.
  6. Not sure but the black may be a painted or powder coated finish. Personally, I like the brushed aluminum finish better. We used to use a lot of brushed aluminum in the exhibit cases we built when I worked for the Museum Exhibit company.
  7. Very good analysis. A much more in-depth study than I have ever done. I will have to file that away and use it later for something.
  8. No Problem!! Might have to increase the board speed. But doesn't hurt the vinyl cover. If anything, it helps to improve the performance of the players because it tends to make them grip the field better. Less bouncing around. Unless you use nuts and bolts to add weight to the players like Terry43. Then a magnetic field cover might not be a good option.
  9. Never heard them refered to as Hog Leg or Chicken Leg bases. I always referred to them as Single Clip and TTC. Nice haul!!
  10. There are others who can make vinyl and magnetic field covers other than Tudor. Send me a pm and I will connect you.
  11. They are available for an additional $10.00. You have to specify vinyl or magnetic.
  12. They did later on. Just not to the extent of painting figures in team uniforms. Scoreboards featured team names in team colors. Check out this 1969 Tudor Product Catalog. 1969-product-brochure (4)_231220_133712.pdf
  13. After searching "electric baseball game" on eBay, found several decent looking listings for complete sets. and reasonably priced.
  14. Here is a pic of the game from a 1953 Tudor Product Brochure showing the use of these piecers.
  15. Need to do some reasearch on it. One flipper for each player. The batter and the fielder is what I am thinking.
  16. Haven't tried them. Bought these because I had never seen any baseball figures made like this and to go with one of the old baseball game sets I have.
  17. EF Artist Scotte Bricks Turnef https://youtu.be/7bDEZaiblyY?si=WRgvZAxkMU6kjEs4
  18. Got these in the mail today that I purchased on eBay. Will be adding to the Museums Collections. Early 1950'S Vintage Electric Baseball playing pieces.
  19. Some more teams painted by Kyle Nutt for Tudor. Browns, Commanders, Packers and Rams, Seahawks.
  20. Awesome Look Great!! Kyle has been posting some of the teams he has been painting for Tudor on Facebook. I will see if I can find some of them.
  21. Lives do seem to get busier for some at this time of year. However, I will say that interest in electric football seems to be at an all-time high with the amount of activity on the FB groups that has been going on for the last several weeks. Mostly just a casual interest in passing and remembrance of a childhood game that I am sure will disappear in another week.
