  1. Here is a pic of the game from a 1953 Tudor Product Brochure showing the use of these piecers.
  2. Need to do some reasearch on it. One flipper for each player. The batter and the fielder is what I am thinking.
  3. Haven't tried them. Bought these because I had never seen any baseball figures made like this and to go with one of the old baseball game sets I have.
  4. EF Artist Scotte Bricks Turnef https://youtu.be/7bDEZaiblyY?si=WRgvZAxkMU6kjEs4
  5. Got these in the mail today that I purchased on eBay. Will be adding to the Museums Collections. Early 1950'S Vintage Electric Baseball playing pieces.
  6. Some more teams painted by Kyle Nutt for Tudor. Browns, Commanders, Packers and Rams, Seahawks.
  7. Awesome Look Great!! Kyle has been posting some of the teams he has been painting for Tudor on Facebook. I will see if I can find some of them.
  8. Lives do seem to get busier for some at this time of year. However, I will say that interest in electric football seems to be at an all-time high with the amount of activity on the FB groups that has been going on for the last several weeks. Mostly just a casual interest in passing and remembrance of a childhood game that I am sure will disappear in another week.
  9. This was posted on Facebook last night. Terry A. Redden 12/14/2023 I've been playing electric football for about 52 years, but I have to say the past 5 years have been my favorite. Because I now get to share it with grandchildren!
  10. Yes, you can do it. But I would think the more layers that you put on the original surface would increase the need for a stronger vibration.
  11. I am at least one moderator of the forum. Not sure if there are others or how many. So why your post would have disappeared is beyond me. I have always enjoyed your writeups and appreciate greatly the time and effort put into them. I wish more leagues would take the time to do this.
  12. OH YES!!! I have seen pictures of and read about thousands of collections of games and teams that people have in their various storage areas. Right now, there seems to be an extreme high renewal of interest in electric football. It always happens this time of year. but this year seems to be more than usual. The memberships in my FB Groups "The ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Community" and "The National ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Game Museum" has more than doubled in the last month to well over 2000 members each. Every day for the last several weeks I have had to spend way more time than I have wanted in just approving post and member request. Most of the comments though are of just the casual passing "I used to have as a kid" variety. The sad thing is we will never hear from most of them again until next Christmas. There are those few who want to know where they can find the games now and want to learn more about it. Interestingly I also follow several sports board game groups and electric football shows up on them quite frequently and seem to get the most likes than any of the other post about other games. But to address the main focus of this post. Yes, Bryan needs to be more communicative on this forum and I have told him so repeatedly. The key to good customer service begins with good communication.
  13. Love high school football. Was lucky to have my youngest stepson be in the marching band for 4 years when his schools football teams went to the state championship 4 years in a row, winning it twice. As for Tudor. I don't think Bryan was really prepared for the onslaught of demand that comes from owning a toy company especially during the Christmas selling season. I worked in retail for 20 years, 3 of which were with Toys R Us. Over half of our annual sales was done in the 2 months of the Christmas selling season. Hopefully he has quickly learned some things that will carry him through to make Tudor Games sucessful for the next several years. Personally, I do not believe that the future of electric football is totally dependent on the survival of Tudor Games. There are still plenty of old electric football games and teams in peoples attics, garages and storage areas, as well as plenty of people who can build custom game boards and paint custom teams and figures for the game itself to survive for many years to come.
  14. Electric Football, Invented In 1948, Still Alive And Buzzing : NPR Thanks to Mark Cramer for posting in Everything Electric Football FB Group
  15. If all you are wanting is to tweak bases to run straight and only for your own personal solitaire league, there is no need to spend a lot of money on expensive bases and paying someone else to tweak. Tudor's Rookie bases in the different colors are really all you need. They can be tweaked just as well as any other bases. They key to getting bases to run straight is to make sure the prongs are all the same length and touching the playing surface equally and level. Also, tweak with the base attached to the figure that you are going to use it on.
  16. Haven't gotten these to the Museum website yet but thought I would download here. 2005 NHFL Rules.pdf NHFL Introduction and Nolensville Red Foxes Info.pdf

  18. I agree with you. To me as a collector, packaging is often more valuable than the actual product and definitely shows a better degree of professionalism.
  19. Just finished a podcast interview. Here's a link: https://player.captivate.fm/episode/0a38a741-1a43-4a23-ae10-93eee886bd91
  20. Here is a download for Gotham Electric Football. I think is approximately 1969. Gotham EF.pdf
  21. Very COOL!! Thanks for posting the pics.
  22. Part of the problem is getting enough people to paint teams. Also, the fact that it is now the Christmas Rush, isn't helping anything. I think after Christmas it will be much easier to get custom painted teams.
  23. An end table displaying electric football teams. Doug Pereira, 11/29/2023 The National Electric Football Game Museum | Facebook Just found this group and joined immediately. I just finished my 26th year of coaching high school football and I attribute that back to my days of playing electric football back in the late 70s and 80s. My neighborhood had a league of 34 teams!! A couple of years ago, I painted two of my teams into my own team (York Falcons in blue) against our biggest Rival (Tabb Tigers) and made an end table with a glass top for my man cave.
