  1. Here are the Rules for Tudor-Con 2024 Tournamemt 2024-TUDOR-CON-RULESET.doc
  2. Bryan with Tudor will have to do that. I can only Moderate. I did talk to him about giving me that permission to do. Since your post is here. I am assuming he has authorized it??
  3. THIS IS WHAT I have been working on with Bryan for over a week to help get set up and coordinated. I have personally been to the hotel, and it is beautiful!! You will not be disappointed. This will be an event to put to shame any other events previously held by Miggle Toys and Tudor Games or any other previously held electric football convention and tournament events. SO PLEASE plan to attend and be amazed at all that is going on in the NEW WORLD of TUDOR GAMES and ELECTRIC FOOTBALL.
  4. Major Announcement: TUDOR-CON 2024 will be April 19-21 at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN. What is TUDOR-CON? It is a celebration of electric football with a tournament and exhibits going on all weekend! Come enjoy a weekend of the greatest hobby in the world! We will be posting tournament and event details throughout this week with a link to the hotel reservations. For now, SAVE THE DATE - April 19-21. I personally want to thank everyone for supporting this hobby! I look forward to seeing coaches that I haven’t seen in forever and meeting new coaches from all around the United States. Make your plans now to attend. You don’t want to miss this event! Bryan Nutt Tudor Games
  5. Interesting!! Have been working on this very thing with someone this morning. He has already designed several and I am going to be offering some restored vintage game boards with these also. PM if interested in talking about further. I can get you in contact with the person that is doing this. Thanks for suggesting and asking about. Oh Yeah, I think they already do some. Field Covers - Customize Boards - Customize (tudorgames.com)
  6. I think it is just the original plastic they used. Tudors late 80's and even early 90's darker green TTC bases some to be about the same. Have a great day. and Journey On!! (Thanks Daryl Collins, now you got me saying it! LOL)
  7. I could come close to making that happen!! Might not be mint but could be a very reasonable facsimile. We should talk. I have a number of game boards that are dented, scratched, rusted, graphics rubbing off that I am going to start restoring. That size the JC Penney and the Sears Super Bowls I have several of. We should talk. with today's technology and using vinyl car wrap graphics. I am just starting to work on this.
  8. I really think the color was just to differentiate the Playtime Brand from the Tudor Brand. It does help in identifying the base as a Playtime base rather than a Tudor Base. As far as I know Miggle Toys / Tudor Games never made a base this color when they started producing the colored "Convention" bases. Another reason I think that they are so in demand is that the plastic is harder than others and will hold a "tweak" better.
  9. In the past Tudor has always wound up selling out of whatever teams make the Super Bowl unless they were able to correctly predict what teams would be in the Super Bowl. Kind of what happened recently and lead to the creation of the Uni-Forms. In the past when Tudor sold team specific Super Bowl Games it was always the teams that were in the previous seasons Super Bowl, in other words, the Super Bowl Games sold during Christmas of 1998 were the teams that played in the game (Super Bowl XXXII - Packers vs Broncos) on January 25, 1998, following the 1997 Season. This gave them plenty of time to get the teams from the factory in China. Tudor has not sold a Super Bowl Edition game since the end of the 2005 season when the Seahawks and Steelers met in Super Bowl XL played on February 5, 2006. Tudor was not able to sell a Super Bowl edition game after that., having lost their NFL License in the Spring of 2006. Excalibur had the NFL License for the 2007 season, but they did not produce a Super Bowl Game and they only lasted for one year of production. Tudor Games, under Doug Strohm, did reacquire the NFL license in 2013 and began producing NFL Edition games, teams and figures again in 2014 but never a Super Bowl Edition. I am hoping Bryan Nutt will again produce NFL Super Bowl Edition Games. But I don't know fully what his plans are. I do remember being at a Miggle Toys / Tudor Games Electric Football Convention and Tournament one year and Mr. Landsman trying to set up a game with the players in their Super Bowl Uniforms that was coming up and asking if anybody know what color uniforms they would be wearing in the game. This was when the Conventions were held the week prior to the Super Bowl Game being played.
  10. The only restrictions that I know of regarding Receivers is that at least 2 must be on the line of scrimmage and all others at least one yard behind the line of scrimmage. I think the ones on the line of scrimmage must be on opposite ends of the line. In other words, you can't have both receivers on one side of the line and have an interior lineman on the opposite end unless he has reported as an eligible receiver. You also cannot have one end covering another end lined up on the line. The defense is typically only allowed to jam a receiver at the line of scrimmage and must release them beyond 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. Very difficult in electric football because of the short duration of time it takes to execute a play without using a multi-stop style of play. The best thing to do is to place WR's on Round Front Bases and use figures that don't have arms or appendages that stick out away from the body that another player can grap on to.
  11. Awesome Greg!! Yes, I think it is the colors of the teams and figures and the graphics of the game boards and boxes that are what interest me most. That is why I keep looking to Art Galleries and Museums and Libraries to put displays in. Even as we speak, I am working on another "Art of the Buzz" exhibit for next year in the Nashville, TN area. January / February 2025.
  12. Awesome write up and discussion guys!! Loving it!!
  13. Here is a link to the GoFundMe page that I set up to raise money for this building fund. Any amount is acceptable and greatly appreciated!! Thanks Guys. The Brian K Fox Memorial Building Fund

  15. This is the thing I love most about being the Founder and Curator of the National ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Game Museum. Getting to know these people and sharing their stories. https://nefgm.org/2024/01/27/meet-ron-meurrens/
  16. Yes, it is the largest and most successful league in this area. I have participated in it when it was much smaller, called the Oxford (AL) EFL and primarily used Tudor and Buzzball equipment. Where I met and got to know, most of my closest friends in the ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Community. Run by great EF Legends and Ambassadors David Nichols and Charles Lane. Creators and Host of the Bama Blast and now River City Blasts EF and TOC tournaments. Most of the members of our Music City EFL also participate in these league and tournament events. Certainly, the best thing going around here in the way of Electric Football activity.
