  1. Aaaagghhh! Six tacklers and 3 assisters is more like a life-ending injury. 😉 So, that's injuries on offense. How about defensive players. How do they get injured? Penalties are another aspect of real football that I'm not concerned about in my solitaire play. I set up the offense and the defense so any penalties would be on me. Then I start talking to myself... 🤪 I believe Chris LeMay uses cards for penalties. 🃏 How do you do penalties? Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  2. I really like the procedure you describe. I might use it if I could keep the ball on the field. I have about a dozen TTQB and all of them blast the ball out of the stadium every time. How do you keep the ball on the field of play? Thank you. Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  3. I believe "realistic" to the NFL is a good jumping off point, but perhaps not the Holy Grail. The FAT8 League actually has injuries. FAT8 is a very active league (and fun League) created by Jamie Ellerbe. I think injuries are an example of taking 'realistic' too far. Just my opinion. I use nuts, washers, and bolts on my players so obviously realism isn't part of my value system. I'm more inclined to run over my plastic peeps with my chair. I dial 911 and a minute later some super glue usually takes care of the injury. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  4. Would this duplicate Facebook's EFL Buy & Sell? And, of course, eBay? Absolutely! Even a tab that goes directly to the Museum would be an excellent addition. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  5. I enthusiastically agree. 😃👍 Because I play Stop-Forward-Progress tackling I get a lot of Kick Offs returned for Touchdowns. Last Season (18 games) I had 34 Kick offs returned for Touchdowns. So about two a game. I'm aware that number is very unlike the NFL but I think of two kickoff returns for touchdowns per game as a value the NFL should aspire to. 😃👍 Sure would make NFL games more exciting. Yep. Changes the whole dynamic. I like your defensive adjustment. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  6. I never get tired of RBs busting it up the middle for long gains. It's like a little piece of Heaven on Earth. 😇 Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  7. That little dog has its eyes right on you, also.🐶 Thanks for sharing the kick return for a touchdown. Did you set up the kick return to the right? Or, did all the Bears players run to the left? Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈 & 🐶 ♾️
  8. Thank you Chris. You are a very warm and inclusive person. Truth is, for me, I just don't find electric football to be a spectator sport. I try to watch the videos posted on YouTube and I get bored. The prospect of watching a constant stream of RPOs is making me sleepy just writing about it. Convention activities such as 'best paint', 'tweaking workshops', and 'strongest, fastest' competitions are probably of secondary interest because my game play is so eccentric. As Bryan states in the TAP rules: I'm the 'Some People' he is referencing. So, I won't be there. I will miss seeing the Museum Exhibit. I've enjoyed the historical stories you've posted. Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  9. I didn't like this rule when I heard it on the AEFL channel and I'm still not thrilled by it. Again, another rule where the purpose of the rule is to keep the game moving quickly. However, this rule seems to defeat the idea of football. I believe many people will like these TAP rules. However, I believe the emphasis on making the game fast has put a damper on it for me. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  10. Finally an acknowledgment that fumbles don't occur in electric football because everyone can securely wedge the ball under the ball carriers arm. The ball doesn't jiggle loose. So let's just admit fumbles don't occur and move on. Nope. Can't do that. We must keep fumbles in the game. Well, if I can knock down the ball carrier during a tackle why don't we just play tackle football? Really, I'm enjoying this journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  11. My best players play on offense and defense. Little plastic peeps don't get tired, or develop muscle cramps. So why this rule? So, white jerseys on Defense and dark jerseys on Offense and I can't use my best bases on offense and defense? I believe the only purpose of this rule is to keep the game moving fast. Am I right? Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  12. I can't believe this statement remains in the TAP rules. Neither Uni-forms, nor superb paint make an average team a championship team. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  13. Absolutely! 😃👍 Unfortunately I'm one of those Mr. Explain It people. I'm down to three explanations. The little plastic peeps get together at halftime and make adjustments while I'm sleeping (I play the first half Tuesday night and the Second Half Wednesday morning). Or, subconsciously I'm making adjustments in my play calling. Or, because I use dice for passing the laws of probability equalize as they are prone to do. Enjoy the Momentum Change. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  14. Bryan Nutt (Beenutt) sculpted his own figures. The figures resemble the Fab Five poses but they look more... Bulked Out. And they don't have Face Masks. Buying the face masks separately is part of the hobby. The product Line is called the Pac 12. They are for sale on the Tudor Homepage. Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  15. Exactly. When you give in and say, "Fine. Do what you want," then when the game is on the line the player will have a change of heart and do just the opposite. 🤪 Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  16. Exactly. 😃👍 Perhaps the plastic is getting more rigid with age, or the plastic was more rigid to begin with, I don't know. 🤔 But I know I'm not alone in my admiration for these bases. 😍 Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  17. I believe there is a natural assumption that the base should be green because grass is green. 🟩 Yet, Tudor frequently called the bases: cleats. 👟 Cleats make the base part of the player — specifically the shoe — which makes sense since the base, like the player's foot, is doing the work. Perhaps if I called the color: 🤠 Texas Longhorn burnt orange, then the color would look perfectly natural? 🤔 Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  18. This is excellent advice. I don't think a formation is a substitute for base strength and speed. Maybe it's possible. In my league I kept drafting Wide Receivers until I found WRs that are absolute beasts. Strong as a gorilla and fast as a cheetah. A cheerilla. I posted a longer version of this video when you asked about TEs. My answer is the same for WRs. Note the receiver has arms sticking way out and the defender simply can't 'grab hold' because the receiver has run past. The Perfect WR.mp4 Draft, draft, draft. Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  19. Have you tried a Wide Receiver Screen? Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  20. I have an old Jaguars team (teal pants & black helmets) I'm thinking of calling the Baja Blast to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Pepsi/Taco Bell releasing the Mountain Dew spinoff, Baja Blast. I'll give them red numbers. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  21. I wore the same Chief's jersey under my pads in high school. I graduated in '74. The number on the jersey was 19. "Only two Kansas City Chiefs have worn jersey #19 in the history of the franchise. Cotton Davidson, the original quarterback of the Chiefs' franchise, wore #19 for just over two seasons from 1960 to 1962. The other was Joe Montana, for two seasons from 1993 to 1994." Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  22. The rematch. Last time I was cheering for the upstart Chiefs. This time I'll pull for Christian McCaffrey (200 all-purpose yards please), and the 49ers to beat the Chiefs 34 to 17. The Chiefs will score all their points in the First Half. I'm currently working on a 49ers-esque team for my upcoming draft. Before the sale of Tudor to Bryan, the Tudor company gave away free teams for purchases over $20. I probably won't call the team the 49ers (that name is taken) but the colors will remain the same. Wretched factory paint but sufficient for my draft.I used a gold Sharpie to color the single-clips. The gold will rub off but I'm looking forward to the beauty of the wear patterns. 🎨 Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  23. After decades of playing I'm still of the philosophy that the best way to tweak is to play the bases. The friction of the plastic against the steel does a remarkable job of revealing the true nature of the base and attached player. I would guess that TripleOption67's bases are tweaked to perfection by now. 😃👍 I do make sure the prongs are pointing backwards and the prongs usually need a bit of heat to harden the tips, but that's it. I love to watch the players execute a play as I designed the play, and I also love those unexpected tackles and unexpected turns up field for touchdowns. 😍 Enjoy the Journey T43 ⚡🏈♾️
  24. Completely agree Coach Collins. 😃👍 I am a bit immersive. 🙄 It's not my fault. I love the game! 😍 Our approach is very similar. You start with eight teams and I start my double-elimination tournament with eight teams. I calculate you play 7 games in a season which includes the Haiti Bowl and I play 13 games which includes my Fruit Bowl. I probably should change the name to the Tossed-Salad Bowl because I have a little bit of everything tossed in. 😉 Thanks for the pictures. Those first and second year Haiti players have remarkable paint. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
  25. TripleOption67 let me take a moment and praise your choice of electric football fields. Absolute beauty. It has those rolled-steel double-sided walls that are really solid. Paint looks great. You may have posted this previously and I missed the post; do all your teams ride on the double clips bases? In the fourth picture is your QB #11 blocking for your tailback #28? In electric football I believe QBs should be blocking. With or without the QB blocking the Jets have great offensive line surge. I can understand why the Jets are the top seed. What does the road to the Haiti Bowl look like? Eight teams? Sixteen teams? Which teams? Is it the Haiti Bowl because all of your plastic peeps are Haiti players? I hope that's not too many questions. I'm just trying to get a feel for your endeavor. Thank you. Enjoy the Journey. T43. ⚡🏈♾️
