Hi NO Dave. Are you refereeing at TudorCon24 this year? Do you mean the Bengals are painted and have decals and the Bengals pictured are not Uni-Forms? Or did you mean that you believe the Bengals are painted with decals and I should refrain from Uni-Form comments in any place except Uni-forms? That said, I also mentioned bases. Does that mean you will move my comment about bases out of Figure Painting and Detailing and into Bases and Invisibles? Should I refrain from mentioning bases in any place except Bases and Invisibases? I'm just looking for clarification of this Posting Rule: I didn't intend to hijack the subject. The Uni-forms look splendid. 😃👍 I do question his choice of a white base at WR. In my experience the white Tudor convention bases were not the plastic to come out of the mold. I believe that is reinforced by the fact Tudor isn't making the white plastic bases anymore. 🕷️ My Spidey-senses are telling me the white base won't make it to the end of the season. On the other hand the Polo Green bases are good at Wide Receiver and tailback so I'm understanding that decision completely. Both should get better with time. Both teams look awesome. 😃👍 Either team will look great on the ITZ Blitz bases you have coming in the mail. I noticed Tudor has silver convention bases in again so I order a bunch of those. The original Tudor silver bases weren't very good so I'm hoping this new batch of plastic will be better. I also ordered the college Spartans magnetic field cover. I'm in the middle of quite an exciting electric football journey. It's like a trip 60 years into the past and the year is somewhere between 1971 and 1974. The location is a factory in either Haiti or China and 184 single-clip bases are starting life as liquid green plastic. The liquid plastic is injected into a mold and 24 single-clip bases come out of the mold. Those 24 bases joined with over 300 of their brothers and sisters and made the journey across the Pacific Ocean to the United States. They got placed on a shelf and there they sat for next 60 years. Untweaked. Unplayed with. Unrealized potential. I found them on eBay and purchased them. That was my post on 'Santa Claus arrived early'. As I announced in, 'Santa Claus arrived early (part 2)' I've created eight new teams. Each team has 23 players and I tweaked all 184 players. In the tweaking process 33 proved impossible to tweak. 80 remain to be realized. In the first video it appears the Chargers pull guard #52 to block the Dolphins' Edge Rusher #1. Guard #52 turns #1 right around and Chargers' Tackle #3 seals the edge. Beautiful. Chargers' WR #13 blocks the Dolphins' cornerback to the inside and Ekelar runs behind the WR for a First Down. Just like real football. Beautiful. This is an uncanny ability and I search for it in my Tudor bases, ITZ bases, and Buzzball bases. Most bases follow the base in front of them and end up getting a small gain. Then along comes the really uncanny base that is able to bounce to the outside. I see that Ekelar is on an ITZ green base. Is that base the CL-2 Formula 100 GREEN Standard Base ? If it is the formula 100 then your experience matches mine. My ITZ Formula 100 and formula 55 bases are rigid enough to bounce to the outside. The softer plastic (in my experience) seems more inclined to cling to the base in front. I'm not entirely sure what the Klingbeil brothers mean by, "... a high level of athleticism." I think Coach Pizz says it best. 😃👍 Stopping and pivoting doesn't make EF 'advanced' or more 'realistic'. Stops and pivots give coaches time to think. It's like a timeout on every play. That's not very realistic. For the audience stops and pivots make it difficult to stay awake. 😴💤 However I do take issue with the Long Island EFL's use of the word vetted. Their draft is hardly vetted. Where are the statistics that show how a base has performed from Pee-Wee, to High School, to College, and finally the Combine? There's no evidence that would support a Kaizen process. That's why my bases play at least three games (real games!) where their true metal will show. I started my draft with 184 bases and by the end of my extreme vetting process I will have 46 bases with statistics from at least 3-games for each player. That's vetting. That's Kaizen. That said, if I lived closer I would join the Long Island League 'cause I enjoy your camaraderie and smack talk. Yep, that's the one I wanted so bad it hurt. Of course, I wanted all the Trans-Am coupes; Ford Boss Mustang, Chevy Camaro, Dodge Charger, Plymouth Barracuda, and the AMC Javelin. Thank you. After the first four games I'll have a better idea of who the favorite could be. Right now it's like Pop Warner football. The Angels are up on the Javelins 28 to 14, at halftime, and I spent a lot of the First Half re-tweaking the skill positions for both teams. I'm anticipating the same amount of time re-tweaking in the second half. If I roll a D10 and a D12 at the same time, the probability that both dice will land on the same number (i.e. “doubles”) is 10/120, or 1 in 12, or 8 percent. If I roll a D6 and a D10 at the same time, the probability that both dice will land on the same number (i.e. “doubles”) is 6/60, or 1 in 10, or 10 percent. If I roll a D6 and another D6 at the same time, the probability that both dice will land on the same number (i.e. “doubles”) is 6/36, or 1 in 6, or 17 percent. Interceptions run at about 2 percent in the NFL so the NFL is definitely not the model I want. But, I don't want a fifth of the passes to be interceptions (17%) so I'm going to try D6 vs D10 for the 2024 seasons. Thank you. The first game of the 2024 Expansion Draft is today (March 5). The eight teams are: Led Zeppelin's Angels of Avalon, AMC's Trans-Am Javelins, Hyperion's Meteor Shower, Mt. Dew's Baja Blast, David Bowie's Diamond Dawgs, Metallica's Metallians, Wales' Walsh Dragons, and Inspector Clouseau's Pink Panthers. NONE of the Chicken-Leg single-clips* were tweaked before I bought them. Each team has 23 players for a total of 184 players. Some of the teams like the Baja Blast and the Pink Panther are new teams. Other teams like the Meteor Storm and Metallians were old teams that received new paint. All of the teams received new helmets and new Team Boxes, except the Walsh Dragons. The Walsh Dragons use the Tudor pre-painted Union Jacks and have won two Fruit Bowls with Tudor Blue/Red Convention Bases and with ITZ dark blue CL-2 bases. The basic rules for the 2024 tournaments are the same as for the 2023 tournament**. Stop-Forward-Progress tackling, minimum weight of 5 grams, stacking is allowed on offense and defense up to 2-deep, and dice will be used for passing. Each team has two QBs and each QB will have his own dice. There will be a change in dice passing for the 2024 season. The offense will roll a D10 and the defense will roll a D6. The rule change is intended to increase the number of interceptions per game. The opening game will feature: Angels of Avalon AND Trans-Am Javelins If you're thinking the Trans-Am Javelins look remarkably like the Christmas Spirit from last year — they are. There's still a Christmas Spirit team and they are riding on the same Tudor Red Convention Bases, but the plastic figures have a more Christmas-oriented green and gold color scheme. This double-elimination tournament is very exciting for me because I don't have a clue how 184 little plastic peeps will function individually, and as teams. I just spent the last two months tweaking and painting these plastic peeps so it goes without saying: I love them — win or lose. I think, just maybe, Coach Jayethekxxng was firing the plastic catapult in both cases. Am I right? If yes then the interceptions are on Jayethekxxng's shoulders. So, I think I would throw out passing as a criteria. That leaves rushing yards as the real criteria. Which QB is the strongest? Which QB is the most consistent at picking up yards on scrambles?
