Gridiron Garb

1956 Rhode Island Rams for my upcoming Yankee Conference league. They only wore white jerseys that year and had the strange combo of helmet stripes and ram horns. Thanks to the great Gridiron Garb for inspiration! I did a lot of research to get a proper starting lineup.

Ha, I went to UMaine Orono in 1986.  

Now I know what team I'll paint next.

Only tricky part will be the helmet logo, unless I learn how to print white on a decal sheet....

There are people who can make decals for any team. Pricey some times but worth it if that is really what you want. I used to print my own decals by adding the background color and trying to match as closely as possible and then painting as close as possible to the white areas so that if the color was off it was unnoticible as possible.

Great post! I'm addicted to uniform sites. As far as I'm concerned, (and I am concerned very far!), you can never have enough uniform sites posted. I'm a paint-a-holic, so keep this up! Thanks. 🙂
