  1. So apparently, this is who is going to be doing Tudor's custom painting.
  2. Offense in Dark and Defense in white is not new. it is a requirement that has been in league and tournament play, for a number of years. Not sure exactly when it started, I would have to research that. The MFBCS and TOC allow up to 60 players on a team's roster. At one time on kickoffs, the kicking team had to be in white jerseys and the receiving team had to be in dark jerseys. They now allow special teams units, to be a mix of white and dark jersey players.
  3. Not sure. The ebay listing said 1959. But could be before then.
  4. Added these original Tudor Tru-Action Electric Horse Race Model 525 playing pieces to the museum's collection. Best I can tell this would be the game that these would have come with.
  5. Yes, Coleco figures and bases from the early '70's.
  6. So, I checked several teams out. Looks to me to be an option. $51.95 is a bargain compared to others who do custom painted teams. The custom service includes painting, and decal application. Personally, I would like the option of substituting regular "Fab5" figures.
  7. From a Facebook post by John DiCarlo. If you're into the game and hobby and would like to secure its future, why not take some time to teach a kid to play. In this age of video games many kids have never seen, played or ever heard of the game...we should change that. You will be surprised how kids of all ages including teens will be fascinated by the game when you demonstrate how to play. So set aside some time to teach.......the best sports game in the world. The picture is from an exhibition game we played in the party room of a local sports pub.
  8. The earliest I can find that picture being used on Tudor Games Facebook Page is December of 2016. That same photo is also used in September 2019. This photo is from November 8, 2014, with the caption: "Sent them on their way for a catalog photo shoot... they grow up so fast!" I know a lot of you on here are not on Facebook but there are some really great photos on there from the past as early as February 5, 2012 when Doug Strohm took over Tudor Games.
  9. From what I have been able to gather , I don't think so.
  10. The larger grey case and the small green case I originally bought from Miggle when they were selling them. The large green case, I purchased through a Facebook Marketplace sale listing. It also came with these original Miggle NCAA College teams and bases. These or similar are what most people use now days for their tournament teams. 11. Yes, I have these examples of the carrying cases that Miggle Toys / Tudor sold in the collections of the Museum. The larges one holds
  12. There is also a Miniature Football Bowl Championship Series (MFBCS) national organization. Miniature Football Bowl Championship Series (mfbowlchampionshipseries.com) Contact them here: mfbowlchampionshipseries@gmail.com
  13. Here is something I had never heard before. From a Facebook post. “#BudAdams founded the Houston #Oilers. He then moved that team to #Nashville and as part of the deal, he was asked to change the name in exchange for keeping the team’s history. Thus the Houston Oilers became the Tennessee Oilers and then the Tennessee #Titans.” Ashley Farrell - Senior Producer, Broadcasting for the Tennessee Titans 💙🤍❤️ To all the fans, especially those who followed the Oilers from Houston to Tennessee & stayed loyal to this franchise, tomorrow will be a special day for all of us & win or lose I just wanted to say I hope it’s one of the best days you’ve ever experienced as Oilers/Titans fans. #TitanUp
  14. There are others who will make them. Contact Paul "Raiderman" Bartels. Sending you an email with his contact info.
  15. Tennessee Volunteers Field Cover Kit (tudorgames.com) Dallas Cowboys NFL Field Cover Kit (tudorgames.com)
  16. Yes, agreed, but GBN is no longer producing their motors. Unfortunately, the current market availability for motors is very limited, though.
  17. I think the motor is the same Standard Field Drive Motion Generator motor. What is new, is the Plug-In Remote System that will now come with the Ultimate Game. If you already have an Ultimate Game, you just need to buy the Ultimate Remote Control System. If I am reading correctly, this just replaces the battery operated PlayAction Remote Control. If you are looking for a completely new motor this is what you need Super Power Pack 3 – ITZ Bases. Tudor may be working with ITZ to offer these motors, but I don't think it has happened yet.
  18. This is typically a quiet time of the year for electric football and always has been. The only thing I have seen lately regarding Tudor Games came from Joel Pritchard in response to someone looking for a league in South Carolina.
  19. There are definitely several options for both teams currently on eBay.
