  1. He really is that player base is a good 40 years old. Thank you so much for your interest in the league we love reading about other people's leagues as well. Dexter played from 74 to 84. He's a super player in this league but there are so many great players in the league. He's just having a great year and if you go to our league page you will see records dating back to 1975. The coach that coaches them was afraid that it would jinx his team if he changed the running back to Billy Sims and even the great Barry Sanders. We appreciate you my brother
  2. STEELERS LOSE HEARTBREAKER IN OVERTIME TO RAVENS! Heinz Field Football Stadium Heinz Field is a football stadium located in the North Shore neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It primarily serves as the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League, and the Pittsburgh Panthers college football team. The stadium opened in 2001, after the controlled implosion of the teams' previous home, Three Rivers Stadium. Heinz Field is named for the locally based H. J. Heinz Company, which purchased the naming rights in 2001 WEEK #5: THE COUNTDOWN: This game between the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2), and Baltimore Ravens (3-1), has divisional playoff implications, but the Steelers have the home field advantage. Baltimore is coming off of a tough loss to Washington last week 24-21, but Ravens running back Jamaal Lewis impressed last week when he ran all over a tough Washington defense with 6 carries for 147-rushing yards with three touchdowns, one of them a 55 yard touchdown! The Ravens want more than a Wild Card Game, they want respect! Leave that respect and tough-guy approach to the self-proclaimed LIEFL trash-talker and Ravens Coach, Johnny Freeport-Chucker who has to rally this team against his best friend and Steelers Coach, Paddy Brannigan, two guys who have seen lots of action of the electric football table and on the streets of New York City. Baltimore won the division last season on points scored. They were the best representative of the AFC North Division in the playoffs, losing a tough 45-34 game to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Game! Chucker said, "We need more coaches in this league, I feel. This is a battle of stubborn minds! I think I am better than all of these coaches this year. I cannot lose this game. It's time for Pittsburgh to say goodbye to their season. I've watched them in three games and they got their mouth's busted last week by the Titans! Today, I am just going to bust their lip more, or maybe an eye. (Laughing) I know their weaknesses right? Their receivers have played horrible since the end of last season. We are winning this division because we will crush Jacksonville next week, and then we are going to show Cincinnati why we deserve to be the division Champions in the final week, when we are BOSS! I have to think like Ray Lewis in this game. We are aiming for 6-1, but we will take 5-2! So, we have to come into the Steelers home turf and teach them a lesson they won't forget!" This season sways in a different direction for the Ravens and Steelers, with all the new draft picks around the league. If the Ravens win they take soul possession first place, and if the Steelers win they're in first place in the division. Right behind them is Cincinnati, which makes for a very interesting AFC North Division. We can expect Baltimore Ravens receiver and kick-return specialist, All-Pro Derrick Mason to step up his game today. Mason is having an awesome season. Mason is #7 in the AFC in all-purpose yards, and #4 in kick-returns with 10 carries with 626 yards and two 100-yard touchdown returns! On the other end of the spectrum is Pittsburgh's Jerome Bettis who has rushed for only 136 yards this season with two touchdowns, and his longest run was for 36-yards against the New York Giants in Week#1. Coach Brannigan said Bettis will be a workhorse today saying, "I have found that when the Bus gets involved early in the game, that's when we play our best electric football." It won't be easy though, the Ravens have a fierce defense, and between the defensive tackle Tony Siragusa, lineman John Ogden, and linebacker Ray Lewis, it could be a long day for Pittsburgh. The Steelers got spanked last week by Tennessee 14-0, and their last two games of the season are on the road with division rivals Cincinnati and Cleveland. THE PLAY BY PLAY: Baltimore Ravens (3-1) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) A desperately needed Lynn Swann is back! Swann opened the game with a graceful, perfect 100-yard kick return to put the Steelers on the board first 7-0, as coach Paddy Brannigan made his opening statement game-face to the Freeport-Chucker as he watched Swann in disbelief! The Ravens All-Pro top guy, Derrick Mason wasn't having it! He ran the Ravens opening kickoff back 52-yards to set up running back Jamaal Lewis in excellent field position for Baltimore. Lewis couldn't get anywhere against this Pittsburgh "Steel-Curtain" defense on the first three runs, which amounted to two yards. Then quarterback Lamar Jackson hit Ravens tailback Mark Ingram for a 21-yard pickup and a first down with Ingram running to the Steelers 29-yard line, with 7:18 left to go in the half. The Freeport-Chucker has his Ravens playing aggressive in the game, as Lewis ran for 5, 12, and 8 yards, down to the Steelers three-yard line, with 2:13 left to go in the half! The energy and hard hitting was outstanding. The Steelers stepped-up their game today playing flat last week against the Titans, but this week they realize how big of a game this. The Ravens were one yard shy of the first down as Steelers All-Pro defensive tackle John Kolb made a huge hit that lifted Lewis off his base at the two yard-line, as the first half comes to a close in a very tough battle with the Steelers defense surprising the Ravens offensive game! It was evident that Coach Brannigan prepared his Steelers well, to stop the run against Baltimore. The Ravens were not having the running week that they had last week against Washington. Pittsburgh's offense completely changed with Lynn Swann back in action. Swann gave Jerome Bettis the exact yards that he needed to be effective. On third down, Jamal Lewis ran in for the score from two-yards away to tie the game 7-7, with 14:48 left to go in the game! Lewis is so tough, he literally acted like a linemen running the ball bashing through the line, even knocking his own player to the turf as well as running over Pittsburgh's Jerome Bettis! On the kickoff, Swann ran a beautiful 66-yard kick-return, giving this Steelers terrific field position at the 34-yard line Baltimore. The Pittsburgh Steelers frontline and the Bus took over! On the first run, after being spun around several times by his own lineman, Bettis busted free around the left side of the field for a 34-yard touchdown run to put the Steelers ahead 14-7, in this amazing division rivalry, with 10:49 remaining in the game! Both coaches looked anxious. Not so fast though! Derrick Mason silenced the crowd with a hundred-yard touchdown return to tie the game at 14-14! The room erupted! What a play by Mason with 9:41 left to go in the game! On the ensuing kickoff, Lynn Swann revived his career with a 60-yard beautiful run, setting up great field position again for the Steelers, with 8:28 left to go in the game! Swann had his best day of the year with well over 200 yards in kick-returns! He's got a few things he's got to work on, but he's playing fantastic as he gives Pittsburgh the clout that they need. The Ravens frontline played a brutal hard-nosed game as the defense tackles Bettis in the backfield for 15-yard loss, forcing a third down situation. The Steelers were forced to kick on fourth down as a 40-yard field-goal straight through the middle of the upright to put Pittsburgh ahead, with the score 17-14, with 1:38 left to go in the game! On the last kickoff of regulation time for the Baltimore Ravens, they placed the ball in the grip of one of the most dangerous player's in the Long Island Electric Football League, Derrick Mason! It was time for Johnny Freeport-Chucker to put his money where his mouth is. Chucker had a very focused look on his face and the Steelers were not taking any chances on the kickoff with Mason at the helm. They lined up every player straight across the 40 yard-line to attempt seal off any possible holes that Mason could run through, as time was running out on Baltimore. Mason flew back on the return 42 yards to set up the game tying field-goal with time running out in regulation. Baltimore decided not to risk one more play, and instead, they kicked a field-goal to tie the game 17-17, as the clock ran out and the game went into overtime! What a super game! Pittsburgh couldn't get luck on their side. The Ravens won the overtime coin toss! WOW! And the Ravens won the ball back in overtime as the Chucker jumped in the air by winning the coin toss in what might be a heartbreaker for the Steelers! This is great electric football folks! It's what every league should experience when the talent puts it all on the line! In overtime Mason took the ball back 42-yards. One play later, Jamal Lewis exploded for a 37 yard run, bringing the ball to the Steelers 21-yard line. Coach Brannigan had such a look of dejection on his face as the Steelers lose on a field-goal to the Baltimore Ravens 20-17! This one was such a tough loss to swallow. Brannigan said, "We had it! We were ahead and should have won, but the mountain to climb now is very tall." The Chucker said, "Yeah, Baby! My teams are rocking. I keep telling you guys, none of these coaches are safe." The intensity in the league is on the rise! Lots of positive things came out of the game for the Steelers. Swann played great, the offense showed up, and the defense played well in a game which could have gone either way! The Baltimore Ravens (4-1) played a great game. Derrick Mason led the way with 235 yards and a 100-yard touchdown for the Ravens!   3. OWENS, DALLAS BEAT WASHINGTON TO TIE FOR SECOND IN DIVISION AS NFC EAST HEATS UP! THE COUNTDOWN: Thank you Tudor Games for providing this informative link to our United Brotherhood for Electric Football! Eight of us access this page because eight of us have to write articles using the league page! We have so much rich history, we do not think we'd have enough allotted space by Tudor to fill the Forum. We have every game, every record, every tackle, and every yard all in folders, stored in a storage bin! It is amazing, what we have saved. We even have an EFL Hall of Fame! We care! Two of the best Long Island Electric Football League team's with a history take the field today in Coach Eddie Viggs Washington Football Team (3-1) vs rookie Coach Levi Vick's Dallas Cowboys (2-2)! This will be a close game with both teams featuring some serious caliber players in Washington's LIEFL-Player of the Week last week, Tony Green. Green had 332 yards last week with two touchdowns in Washington's beating of the undefeated Baltimore Ravens, one of the best defensive teams in the AFC! The Cowboys have played outstanding in the past two weeks, beating both Seattle and Cleveland. Just as Washington has Tony Green, Dallas has the #5 rusher in the LIEFL-NFC, Emmitt Smith. Smith has carried the ball 22 times for 290 yards rushing, with five touchdowns behind a huge Dallas front line! Terrell Owens is dangerous too! He can change a game fast. Owens has 659 total yards, with three 100-yard touchdown returns! Long Island Sports Hall of Fame Inductee and Sports Historian Andrew Slawson, our Analyst said, "Dallas needs to get the jump early on Washington to win this game. But, Dallas plays sporadic football, and that is because the coach crumbles under pressure. He is a rookie getting schooled. Yeah, he's been playing a long time, but not against these big boys. These coaches bragged about his play in his league he came from, but here, he has been humbled. I did talk to him one on one and told him it's nothing personal. It's just that maybe he has the jitters and is putting too much pressure on himself. Nice guy, but can't play in this league. The truth hurts!" Vick was asked about the nervousness, the jitters, and the other league. He said, "When I lived in Texas I played in a really nice league, the guys were great competitors, but seriously, these guys here match them and are even better. They know football. I have learned a ton! Slawson thinks I am horrible, and he told me I have no game under pressure. I asked to critique my play and give me tips. He said, no tips, but certainly criticism!" THE PLAY-BY-PLAY: Washington Football Team(3-1) vs. Dallas Cowboys (2-2) The excitement for the kick-off between these two teams was looming in the room with a full house to support Levi Vick, win or lose as we enjoy the last day of the weekend with some exciting games with great Brothers! On the opening kickoff Terrell Owens took a 43-yard return back for Dallas. The Cowboys went to work. Emmitt Smith peaked through a few holes, but never made it out of them on his first two runs as the Washington defense came up big with Charlie Taylor tackling Smith in the backfield for a 3-yard loss forcing a third down for the Cowboys! Dallas quarterback Zach Prescott hit Terrell Owens wide open for a nice 39-yard first down, bringing the ball to the Washington 23-yard line, with 9:20 left to go in the half! Beautiful job by coach Levi Vick executing that play! He really knows his Cowboys! Washington's defense played Dallas very tough as they forced another third down with four yards to go for the first down! On third down Michael Irving broke free from Washington's Art Monk to score the Cowboys first touchdown of the game 7-0 Dallas, with 4:19 left to go in the half! Dallas plays great at home! On the kick return Tony Green got hit by Chris Hanberger and Green got spun around at the 35-yard line, stopping the play right there as Washington stared 65-yards down field at the end-zone, with 2:55 left to go in the half. Washington running back Tony Green took his first run for a 13-yard gain and a Washington first down! On second down Green headed toward the sideline and he ran out of bounds for a loss of three as the first half came to a close. To start the second half, Green ran a trail-blazer around the right end for 17-yards with Randy White chasing him! White made a great tackle, his second tackle of the game! Washington's frontline looks pretty potent! After a 5-yard pickup Larry Allen, Leon Lett, and Ed "Too-Tall" Jones pushed Washington and Green back for a 9 yard loss on the play as Randy White made his third tackle of the game. What a year White is having with 11 minutes left to go in the game! On the next play, quarterback Dwayne Haskins tossed a beautiful pass to the athletic speedster Art Monk who took a spectacular 44-yard touchdown into the end zone crossing to the center of the field and into the end-zone for the touchdown 7-7, tie game with 8:32 left to go in the game! Dallas did a great job holding back Tony Green. Washington couldn't say the same as on the very next play Terrell Owens distanced the game with an explosive hundred-yard kick return into the end-zone for a Dallas Cowboy touchdown making the score 14-7 Dallas, with 6:54 remaining in the game! What an electrifying play by Owens and the Cowboys! One play later Tony Green took the ball back 57-yards and was crushed by Larry Allen at the Dallas 43-yard line! Beautiful run by Green! The Cowboys continued to come up big as Terrell Owens made a huge play on Green, who was just about to break away for a touchdown, stopping him at the 47-yard line of Washington, forcing a third down play with 2:32 remaining in the game, with time running out! Washington failed to execute the first down on a third down play, and they are forced to go for it on fourth down with 36 seconds left to go in the game! Washington decided to kick the field-goal to earn the points in the event that points become a tiebreaker in the division. The Dallas Cowboys come up big! They win the game 14-10 in a spectacular finish for Levi Vick and his Cowboys! Vick played a perfect game as Dallas (3-2), are now tied with Washington(3-2), for second place! The Philadelphia Eagles move into sole possession of first place! The Cowboys won there 84th game in the Long Island Electric Football League today! The Dallas Cowboys has a chance to get to the playoffs if VicK plays his cards right, but it won't be easy in the NFC-East, and never count Coach Viggs out! Viggs said, "Coach Vick's Cowboys played an awesome game. We'll be back strong!" Vick was very happy, winning his sixth game! Vick said, "I just have to keep working hard. I am a blue-collar guy, so hard work is what I am about." Really, it was Terrell Owens's play that won the game for the Cowboys, and Dallas did a great job holding Washington running back Tony Green to 127 total yards without a touchdown! For the Cowboys Terrell Owens had 3 carries for a total of 188-yards, with a hundred yard touchdown return! Dallas plays the winless San Francisco 49ers in Week#6 in Dallas! Washington faces Seattle at home! What a week it will be.
  4. LIONS BUSSY 274 YARDS, TWO TOUCHDOWNS ROAR TO 4-1 WITH BIG WIN OVER TEXANS! September 21, 2020. Detroit, Michigan. Ford Field Football Stadium Ford Field is a domed American football stadium located in Downtown Detroit. It primarily serves as the home of the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, as well as the annual Quick Lane Bowl college football bowl game, state championship football games for the MHSAA, the MHSAA State Wrestling Championships, and the MCBA Marching Band State Finals, among other events. The regular seating capacity is approximately 65,000, though it is expandable up to 70,000 for football and 80,000 for basketball. WEEK#5 LIEFL-COUNTDOWN: Week#5 of this year's exciting Long Island Electric Football League is taking on it's own personality as rookie Coach Levi Vick takes on the smoking-hot Detroit Lions of trash-talker Johnny Freeport-Chucker in the first game of the week. The Lions only loss so far was to the 2020, undefeated LIEFL #1 Ranked Green Bay Packers who beat Detroit 14-7, in Week #2. But other than that loss, the impressive Lions have played near flawless football, beating Chicago in their home opener 24-21 in OT, Arizona 20-14, in OT on the road, and New Orleans, 21-14! With Detroit running back Dexter Bussy leading the LIEFL in total yards at a record pace, Bussy has 31 carries for 1,114 yards, with ten touchdowns! Bussy is on pace for a 2,000 yard season. He would be only the second player ever in that category in a seven-game season. That will be a huge challenge for the (1-3) Houston Texans to compete against on the road. Coach Chucker said, "It's too early to say how my Lions will do, but all of these coaches better watch their backs because they are far from safe on the field. I feel on-fire with this team, and if we get you in a back alley, it's over! We are here to mix-it up and beat any team who challenges us. This team has black-magic! We aren't great, but Bussy is! We aren't trying to stop Ron Dayne, Ron Dayne has to keep up with Bussy, how's that? Any coach playing electric football would love this guy on their team, trust me. I m coming after Vick and his Texans to give them his 14th coaching loss!" Houston Coach Vick, had no comment for the 6-foot 4" Chucker before the game. The Lions will not stop Houston running back Ron Dayne either, Dayne is explosive! He has 38 carries for 830 total yards, with four touchdowns, two of them 100-yard kick returns! If not for such a challenging schedule, the Texans might be in a different spot. THE PLAY-BY-PLAY Houston Texans (1-3) vs Detroit Lions (3-1) Dexter Bussy launched the Lions offensive weapons early, right out of the gate with a sizzling, beautiful 100-yard touchdown run, his 11th of the 2020 season, and 5th 100-yard touchdown! WOW! Bussy is tearing up the League this year! It's not even about the statistics anymore for Bussy, it is about the legacy of who will be the lucky person to inherit this league when we are finished! These records dating back to 1972 in this league are by far one of the greatest components to the LIEFL! The Lions jump in front with the lead over the Texans 7-0, with 14:20 left in the half! On the Texans opening kick return, All-Pro running back Ron Dayne buzzed downfield for a 47-yard beauty! On first down, Dayne ran the ball through the left side of the Houston line for a 21-yard pickup, bringing the ball to the Detroit 33-yard line for the first down! Dayne is a great player, but his Texans need work. Coach Vick looked a little stunned from the Bussy run. It seems no matter how much opponents prepare for Bussy, he holds the magic with his graceful ability! On the next Texan play, the Detroit defense stopped Texans quarterback DeShaun Watson wing pass attempt and the Texans are forced to kick a field-goal from 40-yards away to make the score 7-3 Lions, with 6:35 left to go in the half! The anticipation for Bussy's next kick-return brought a look of anxiety on Texan Coach Levi Vick's face. Bussy ran the ball right up the middle of the Houston belly, for a 50-yard kick return. On the Lions first run, the Texans defense marched right through the offense of the Lions for a 20-yard loss on first two downs! They answered Bussy's play! Bussy earned 10-yards back, bringing the ball to the Lions 40-yard-line with 20 yards to go for the first down. That was a steep challenge for Detroit, but with Detroit's dangerous passing team with third down coming up with 2:34 left to go in the half, the Lions have the talent. And on third down All-Pro receiver, Calvin Johnson freed-up by outstepping the Texan defender for a huge first down on a 20-yard pickup! There is no messing with these Lions as the first half came to a close! With the first down from Johnson, Detroit initiated a ground attack in the second half. Dexter Bussy had a beautiful run for 15-yards, taking the ball to the Houston Texans 25-yard line! We could feel the vibration change in the game has Coach Johnny Freeport-Chucker's Detroit Lions took control of the football with Dexter Bussey running for another 6, and 9 yard runs, taking the ball to the 10-yard line of the Texans! The Lions threatened to score their second touchdown of the game as the Texans tried to figure out Bussy. And on second down for the Lions, Bussy, instead of running left, he ran right into the end-zone from 8 yards out, to make the score 14-3, with 9:02 left to go in the game. Detroit was absolutely on fire playing playoff-caliber football! Dexter Bussey scored his league-leading 12th touchdown of the season! On the Texans kick-return, Ron Dayne earned 40 yards. Dayne was stopped on his first two runs losing nine yards, and the Texans were pushed back to their own 31-yard line on third down as Dayne was tackled in the backfield by Herman Moore who came up with a huge defensive play for the Lions! On a huge play, Houston's Andre Johnson caught a beautiful pass from quarterback pass DeShaun Watson for a big 35-yard first down to the Detroit 34-yard line, with less than three minutes left to go in the game! On a beautiful passing sweep by the Texans, Dayne caught a nice 35-yard touchdown pass from Watson to bring the score to 14-10, Detroit in the lead, with 1:32 on the game the clock, which was winding down fast! On Detroit's last chance to score, Bussy just missed his second hundred yard touchdown of the game as he's tackled by Houston defensive tackle Brandon Frye, after gaining 84 yards on the kick return! Detroit set-up for a quick field-goal, winning the game, 17-10! What a beautiful victory for the Detroit Lions and Coach Johnny Chucker! The Lions go to (4-1), as they head to Tennessee to face the Titans! Detroit's Dexter Bussy again comes up huge for the Lions! He had 10 carries for an amazing 274-yards with two touchdowns, one of them for 100-yards, his 5th of the season, giving the star 1,383 total yards with 12 touchdowns for the season! Coach Chucker said, "We want the Titans!" It seems the Lions are improving and constantly trying to find ways to win at home and on the road! The Texans have a rough road ahead and they will need some big-time drafts in the next draft so that they can allow Ron Dayne to be Ron Dayne! Houston is (1-4), and their hopes to advance in their division were just crushed for Coach Levi Vick. Dayne finished with 137 total yards with a 35-yard touchdown catch. Houston will play their last two games at home against division rivals, Indianapolis and Tennessee to complete the season!

The in-shape, retired police detective of 25 years, is a perfect fit for the Atlanta Falcons. Nobody in this league talks more trash than Chucker. We often wonder how he makes the men set-up with his huge hands. He said, "I have been waiting for Viggs. My guys are waiting in the back alley ready to brawl in this game, so expect a war! We ain't afraid of no Green Bay Packers, and it's about time we knock the chip off of their shoulder and Coach Viggy's shoulder too! I told Viggy the last time we played, 'we'll meet again my friend,' and here we are." Chucker said to Viggs, "Viggy you look more handsome than the last time I saw you son. Let me beat all of you guys in this league so I can enjoy my winter in my Florida house." Viggy said, "Son? Who are you calling son? My talk is going to be on the scoreboard tonight brother." Viggs had a determined look on his face before game-time as the anticipation grew near. Both Coaches pulled their teams out of the storage bins and dipped the running back bases in water to clear any fiber, which is the ritual in the league. Commissioner Billy O'C sprayed and wiped the board down and made sure the clocks were set, the goal posts were intact, and the yard markers were properly lined up. The players get weighed before each game, and the coaches get a few practice runs before beginning the game. Eleven people are on hand to watch in a great party like atmosphere with pizza being served. Atlanta sits at the top of the NFC South, one game away from ahead of the 2019 NFC South Division Champion and rival Carolina, who is closing in fast at (2-2). The Falcons need to play hard in this game, and Gerald Riggs needs to keep it moving for the Atlanta to stay in the race in their division because Carolina is on the rise again. Atlanta plays Las Vegas and then Tampa Bay twice to end the season. Coach Viggs won't look ahead at all. His focus will be this game. They are colorful! THE PLAY BY PLAY: Atlanta Falcons (2-1) vs Green Bay Packers (3-0) We could feel the genuine excitement building to watch this game as the opening kickoff was taken by Sterling Sharpe 42-yards only to be hit hard by Atlanta’s Deon Jones! On his first run of the game, Packers running back, Terdell Middleton's first run of the game dragged him back for an 8-yard loss by a vicious Falcons front line. And on second down the Packers lost 10 more yards and they are forced to pass the ball on third down. On third down fullback Jim Taylor made a huge play on a pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a 35- yard gain to the Atlanta 43-yard line with 9:04 left to go in the half! After being stopped again by a ferocious Atlanta Trench core on 2nd down, Middleton gained 6 yards for the first time on the run as the Packers pushed the ball forward, but not before forcing a third down pass. And Coach Viggs always has a trick play of sorts up his sleeve as Aaron Rodgers ran a 30-yarder on a quarterback sneak for a Packer first down, bringing the ball to the Falcons 25-yard line as the coach of the Falcons Johnny Freeport-Chucker had a look of disgust on his face. Green Bay Coach Viggs did lots of moving around and his adjustments to get this Packer team aligned with Atlanta, with 3:57 left to go in the half. On first down Falcons All-Pro defensive tackle Terrance Pennington made a hard-hitting tackle for a 13-yard loss on Middleton. Green Bay struggled running the football against this Atlanta defense. We almost wonder as we heard talk before the game, how the Packers will fare against division rivals Chicago Bears who are “red hot” and on fire! On the next play to coach Viggs surprise, the Falcons came up with the biggest play of the game as Austin Hooper sacked quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a huge 30 yard loss at the 27-yard line and the Packers get themselves into huge trouble! Coach Viggs shouted a profanity and lost another ten yards on the play jeopardizing his Packers undefeated season. It’s not the cool, calm Coach we are used to seeing. Then he yelled, “I don't even believe it.” And the Green Bay Packers, now have to punt the ball from their own 27-yard line on fourth down to the most dangerous player in the league, Gerald Riggs. The Chucker caught Coach Viggs sleeping on this one play. It’s all it takes, one mistake. You can see the disgust on Viggs face, and as we always say, every team is one win or loss away from disaster or progress! Coaches cannot afford to make mistakes like that when you're playing against guys like Gerald Riggs because he will make you pay dearly as Riggs returned the ball 84-yards on the punt to the Green Bay 16-yard line, as the first half comes to an end! On first down the Packers defense came up big! They handed Gerald Riggs a two-yard loss. On second down, Green Bay’s defense came up big again, with another 5-yard loss taking Riggs down at the 23-yard line, forcing this Falcons team to pass as Coach Viggs set-up for a blitz package on third down. And Green Bay's Jim Taylor chased Riggs on the next play, but Riggs ran for the first down to the six-yard line of the Packers with the clock rolling at 10:28 to go in the game! The Packers defense played extremely impressive and aggressive against Atlanta’s ultra-back Gerald Riggs. The Falcons tried to go back to the run again, but Riggs may have met the best defense yet in these Packers. We always wonder why the defensive unit can destroy a team, but they can't run the ball on offense. It's the one phenomenon of electric football that has left a question mark in the minds of the coaches in this league. Like a train-wreck, the Falcons on the next play, ran the ball in to the end-zone with Riggs scoring a six-yard touchdown with 9:05 left to go in the game! The Falcons were beating the Packers at Lambeau Field on the Packers home turf, 7-0! On the kickoff Sterling Sharpe took it back 42 yards again, hit at midfield by Julio Jones. And for the first time in the game Middleton rans for a first down to the Atlanta Falcon 48-yard line with 5:34 left to go in the game. Coach Viggs was trying to get this game to go to overtime. With time running out, on a huge 30-yard explosion from Middleton, Middleton ran the ball to the Atlanta 18-yard-line with 3:43 left to go in the game! The Packers kept feeding the ball to Middleton, this time for no gain. Then two minutes later, Coach Viggs decided to pass with the clock ticking, as Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers hit Don Hutson on a a phenomenal 33-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7, sending the game into overtime with a chance for the Green Bay Packers to redeem themselves and save their undefeated season! The look on Johnny Chucker's face was priceless as he watched the Packers steal back their pride, keeping that chip on that shoulder! Leave it to Coach Viggs, who in a huge turn of events won the coin-toss in overtime! Unbelievable, really it's unbelievable! Not only have the Packers defense controlled the Falcons and stopped Gerald Riggs, but they've tied the game and brought it into overtime, determined to stay undefeated in an amazing game! On first down Aaron Rodgers faded left and he threw a 14-yard first down to his favorite receiver, Don Hutson again, bringing the ball to the Atlanta 36-yard line, as we watch Coach Viggs the Master, go to work! And another failed run attempt for Green Bay, the Packers suffer a five-yard loss. Green Bay took one more run, and then decided to go for the win by kicking an amazing 41-yard field-goal in 6:04 of overtime to remain undefeated at (4-0), to win the game 10-7, in a dramatic finish! The Packers defense came up huge today! They are the only team in the league to stay undefeated due to the fantastic coaching by the Coach Ed Viggs! Don Hutson was the was the game's MVP with two catches for 47 yards and the game-tying touchdown, as the Packers get ready for war next week against their division rivals Chicago Bears! The Chucker shook hands with Viggy and said, "You got lucky on this one. I'll get you back in the playoffs!" Viggs said, "Yeah baby! These are the games I live for! I am proud of my guys and now we have to get ready for War II, as we play the other big guy, Coach Paddy Brannigan's Bears!" What a way to close out Week#4 in the Long Island Electric Football League as the Green Bay Packers shut down Atlanta's star running back Gerald Riggs, holding Riggs to 100 total yards!

  16. HIGH-FLYING EAGLES BURY 49ERS SEASON WITH OVERTIME VICTORY! Levi's Stadium Football Stadium Levi's Stadium is an American football stadium located in Santa Clara, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has served as the home venue for the National Football League's San Francisco 49ers since 2014. The stadium is located approximately 40 miles south of San Francisco and is named for Levi Strauss & Co., which purchased naming rights in 2013. THE COUNTDOWN: In a perfect world many members of this Long Island Electric football league saw the San Francisco 49ers as a possible champion last year, and when that didn't happen, everybody wondered why. They had the best running back in the league in Ricky Watters. Watters set the seven-game season record in the LIEFL,with 925 rushing yards and a phenomenal 18 touchdowns! He was a beast! That's not all. 49ers Coach Eddie Viggs said, "Not sure why we are playing this way, but the competition has been outstanding. I can't win them all with every team. It's time to get back to the basics." San Francisco had one of the best pound per pound kick returners in the game in Jerry Rice, but the 49ers somehow came up short and collapsed in the playoffs losing to defending division rival and Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams! The Eagles are not going to have any Mercy for the 49ers. They have come such a long way and are trying to win a championship. Philadelphia's superstar Harold Carmichael had an off week last week because Coach Matt Zoo-York McQueen decided it was time to give Keith Byars some ball! This week you can more of that from McQueen's Eagles on the road. They are going to need Byars power-play heading down the home stretch for the Eagles. Philadelphia is treating this like a playoff game. They are really amped-up! THE PLAY-BY-PLAY: Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) vs San Francisco 49ers (0-3) On the opening kickoff San Francisco's Jerry Rice got turned at midfield and tackled by defensive tackle Jason Peters, who made the tackle for Philadelphia at the 40-yard line, as the 49ers take over at their own 40-yard line. On first down, Ricky Watters was stuffed by the Eagles defensive line for a 10-yard loss. On the league "All-Pro Watch-List" is Jerry Sisemore who brought Watters down for a five-yard loss! The 49ers ran for five yards in three plays until quarterback Joe Montana was forced to pass. Montana hit Ricky Watters for a 53-yard play with Watters bringing the ball to the Philadelphia 6-yard line for a first down, with 7:45 left to go in the half! What a play! One play later, Watters scored on a nice touchdown dash for San Francisco from 6-yards out battling his way into the end zone with 4:23 left to go, 7-0 with San Francisco beating Philadelphia! The player everyone has been excited to watch is Harold Carmichael who had a record-setting eleven, 100-yard kick-returns for touchdowns as the #1 kick-return man in the Long Island Electric Football League in 2019. On the kick return Carmichael ran 52-yards right to the center of the field as he was tackled by San Francisco tight-end Dwight Clark at the 49ers 48-yard line. On first down Eagles running back Keith Byars was stopped at the line of scrimmage on a hard hit by linebacker 49ers linebacker, Ken Norton. And, just like that, in two running plays Byars explodes for a 48-yard touchdown run into the end-zone to tie the game with the half coming to a close, 7-7, on a beautiful run by Byars! With Byars hot and Carmichael as their security blanket, the Eagles are a very dangerous team lurking in the league! On the ensuing kick-return, Jerry Rice was hit hard by Eagles lineman Hugh Douglas as the All-Pro brings Rice down at the 40-yard line! San Francisco looked downfield 60-yards away from scoring a touchdown with 14:17 left to go in the game as we watch the San Francisco 49ers try to win their first game of the season. On first down Ricky Watters is slammed, when out of nowhere Jason Peters again makes the stop for Philadelphia, bouncing back the 49ers for a 5-yard loss at their own 35-yard line with second down coming up! It didn't take long for the league to figure Ricky Watters. He spent the season last year terrorizing LIEFL defenses, but this year the adjustments have been made to stop the 49ers in one of their toughest seasons ever! And just as we said that, Ricky Watters broke free through a hole for a 40-yard gain, and a first down for San Francisco at the Philadelphia 20-yard line with 11:22 precious minutes left to go in the game! Outstanding play by the 49ers front line! The very next play was just as beautiful for the 49ers as Watters ran in his second touchdown of the game from 20-yards away, making the score 14-7, 49ers! There was 9:44 left to go in the game and for a minute, the 49ers look like a flashback from 2019, finishing as the #1 offense in the LIEFL! On the ensuing kick return, Philadelphia's Harold Carmichael ran through a huge hole but Fred Dean closed it off for the 49ers as Carmichael returned the ball 45-yards! It seems defensive opponents have worked very hard to figure out the best kick returner in the game! On first down, after a nine yard pickup for the Eagles, 49ers Dwight Clark made a great stop on Keith Byers at the 44-yard line, just one yard short of a first down, forcing the third down play for Philadelphia! And on fourth down Keith Byers caught a 24-yard pass for a first down bringing the ball to the San Francisco 22-yard line with 1:35 remaining in the game! This one has become a nail-biter as time was ticking down on the Eagles. On the last play of the game with 4 seconds left, Keith Byars caught a beautiful pass from Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz for a 22-yard touchdown to tie the game and send the game into overtime! And in a drastic turn of events, Philadelphia won the overtime coin toss on the road with their back against the wall in San Francisco! The Eagles came up huge with the ball and Mr. Reliable, Harold Carmichael returned the ball 43-yards, tackled by Ricky Watters! These Eagles played like champions! This is without question, the best Philadelphia Eagles team they have ever put on the field! On the Eagles first run in overtime, Keith Byars picked up a 17-yard run and a first down to the 49ers 35-yard line. The Eagles just keep moving forward tiring out the 49ers defensive unit with a relentless pursuit for the game winning score. To win on the road in this league is so huge. Philadelphia continues to drive the ball as they pick up another 5-yards. One more time, another five yards and a first down for Byars and the Eagles as 49ers tackle, Harris Barton makes his third tackle of the day for San Francisco, bringing the ball to the 25-yard line of San Francisco. The Eagles continue their drive with another first down, this time to the 15-yard line of the 49ers, as they get closer to the goal line! It's hard to imagine that the 49ers have not won a game to this point and because of that they're going to secure the first round draft picks in the 2021 draft. More yardage for Philadelphia, bringing the ball to the 10-yard line with second down and five coming up. The only thing we can say at this point is Philadelphia looked like a very dominant football team and they will be difficult to beat as they prime for a possible division title. Washington beat them to open the season 13-10, and that's where the season will finish, against Washington at Philadelphia for the clash of the Titans! We think the only team standing in the Eagles way from being a Super Bowl contender, is the Rams. On the next play, Keith Byars ran over the 49ers defense and into the end-zone from 10-yards out to give the Eagles a tremendous road victory 20-14, in 10:36 of overtime to beat the San Francisco 49ers (0-4) with Keith Byars scoring three touchdowns, adding to his three he scored last week against the Cincinnati Bengals! Byars rushed for 114 yards today on 12 carries, and Carmichael had 160 yards on kick-returns! The Philadelphia Eagles are on a roll! There comes a time when we have to talk about these two teams playing today. They are a mystery. As WEEK-#4 comes to a close, the Long Island Electric Football League's AFC is not quite where the NFC is, but they are very close to contributing to making this an incredible 32-full strength competitive League. Nearly every team in the NFC is a threat. There are a few exceptions. One of them is the Kansas City Chiefs at (1-2). Running back Priest Holmes has been a significant part of the league these past five 7-Game season format years winning Player of the Year in 2018, everyone is wondering what is going on in Kansas City. Coach Matt "Zoo-York" McQueen said,"There is no sense repeating what has already been written and that is, the Chiefs need to deliver in the next two seasons or they may have to completely rebuild. We have Holmes finally playing to his standard after we unleashed him last week." Kansas City's lost to the Baltimore Ravens, but Holmes had a season high 125 yards rushing with two huge touchdowns, one for 60-yards! This is Kansas City's chance to make a move in a very competitive AFC West. Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill has been the torch-bearer this season, with 324 yards and a touchdown. He is dangerous! If the Chiefs can get both Holmes and Hill connected in the game, it will be a long day for New England. New England (1-2), is in for a war in the AFC East because the Jets, Bills, and AFC Champion Miami Dolphins are neck-and-neck, so the Patriots need this win desperately or their season could be lost. They are one game away from looking ahead to next season if they lose. That is what makes the seven-game season so fiercely competitive. He is #6 in the AFC in all-purpose yards 11-643, with one touchdown, but he is the #2 kick-returner in the AFC! This guy can change a game in a minute. He is their play-maker! The Patriots need him to perform now more than ever, and he is a big-time player in the tough spots. He is vying for Pro-Bowl starter as the kick return specialist. Slawson's Corner Analyst Andrew Slawson said, "Forget it! If you are looking for either of these teams to go to the playoffs, it isn't going to happen. Time for them both to rebuild and get great draft picks. Priest Holmes needed to come out of the gate in game one on fire to compete at the level they need to compete at in this league. It can't be all of the sudden in Week #4 that they can compete. The Chargers at (3-1) figured that out in Week#1 and Kansas City isn't beating the Chargers with the year they are having. Zoo-York can win this game because I do not believe that Levi Vick is a good electric football coach, and I said it before and I will say it again, he is an embarrassment with what he's done to Jacksonville at (0-4). On Kansas City's first run of the game, Priest Holmes ran for an impressive 19-yard gain. The most controversial coach in the league, Coach Levi Vick, did a great job figuring out the adjustments that he needed to make, and on the next play New England's defense stopped Holmes on two straight runs, for an 18-yard loss by the Patriot push-back, led by lineman John Hannah! On third down, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, aired it out, but with nowhere to throw, Mahomes was forced to throw the football out of bounds, bringing up a fourth down for the Chiefs at the 35-yard line. Kansas City was in big trouble with 8:03 left to go in the half! On fourth down the Chief spell disaster! Kansas City running back, Prince Holmes was flipped around facing the opposite side of the field, hit-up by his own man, and the play stops at the 30-yard line with the Patriots now in control of the ball with 6:32 left and a half. Oh My! How the season has turned around for Levi Vick! When New England took over at the 30-yard line, it didn't take Vick's Patriots long to score. Patriots running back Lawrence Maroney had two runs that amounted to two yards, and the Patriots were forced to pass the ball on third down when Randy Moss outran Derrick Thomas on the left sideline as Moss caught a great pass beating out Thomas for the 30-yard touchdown run to put the Patriots ahead 7-0, with 1:27 left to go in the half! And on the next kickoff for the Chiefs Tony Gonzalez on his first kick return of his career, ran the ball back 67-yards to the Patriot 33-yard line on one spectacular run! The Patriots offense wouldn't let up on Kansas City. On the Chiefs first down, defensive tackle Matt Light made a beautiful tackle on Priest Holmes, who hasn't rushed for a yard since his first run of 19-yards, forcing a third down play again for Kansas City. The Chiefs have gotten themselves into a mess. With a wide open Tony Gonzalez, Mahomes missed the pass. forcing another fourth down on the Kansas City offense. The pressure was mounting! The Chiefs decided to go for it again on fourth down, with 11:15 left to go in the game! Call it incredible, but Priest Holmes on a fourth down play, ran for 22-yards to pick up an amazing first down for the Chiefs, with 9:51 to go in the game! What a play as Kansas City takes the football all the way down to the Patriots 20-yard line! And after a four yard gain, Holmes scored on a 16-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7, with 7:20 left to go in the game! So far, Kansas City has done a great job keeping the ball out of New England Rob Gronkowski's hands. Gronk returned his first kick of the day for 55 yards to the Kansas City 45 yard line, with 5:24 remaining in the game! Both the Patriots and the Chiefs are trying to stay alive in their division as Week #4 comes to a close and Week#5 begins to heat up. Right now the way it looks is if the Patriots win they will be tied with the New York Jets (2-2) and the Buffalo Bills(2-2), for second-place in a three-way fight for the AFC East Wild Card race! The Chiefs continue to dominate on the front line as they stop the Patriots for a 15-yard loss. With the clock ticking and seconds to go in the game All-Pro Kevin Faulk came up huge for the Patriots! Faulk caught a great pass from quarterback Tom Brady for a 59-yards first down to the Kansas City Chiefs one-yard line! One play later Maroney lost 25-yards on the play and with time running out the Patriots kicked the game winning field-goal from 26-yards away to win the game 10-7 in a major upset! For rookie coach Levi Vick, he silenced all the critics who doubted him. The resilient coach won his 5th LIEFL game as he starts to figure this league out in a heck of a football game! Matt Zoo-York McQueen threw his water bottle to the other side of the room in frustration, as the Chiefs season is in jeopardy! New England (2-2), heads back home to play the NFC West Arizona Cardinals (2-2), in a major showdown. The Kansas City Chiefs dropped back in the race for a Wild Card spot as they now have two away games in a row against Jacksonville (0-4) and New Orleans (1-3).

Mine is passing, so I am coming at you with the "kitchen-sink" and I will give up the pass and win and lose by the run. I know my limitations, but the Bills are still the best team in the AFC. Today, we are going to take a stand and play like Champions against the Raiders. OJ Simpson and the Electric Company will be back in force. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in this team, but it isn't entirely their fault. We have to play Buffalo Bills dominant football. I have rookie Ray Brown who's a heck of a future player. He will be a little more involved today." The Las Vegas Raiders and that whole move has lifelong fans of the Raiders disgruntled. One of those people is Raiders Coach Kevin "Mac" Maloney. Maloney said,"I am not getting the feel for the Silver and Black of Las Vegas that I felt in Oakland. It isn't the same, and I want to trade someone in this league who can love them the way they should be loved. I know it might not matter because these are plastic player figures, but the performance my top guy, Dave Casper is having, is a huge concern for us. He was the AFC kick-return winner last year with 1323 yards on 15 carries and he had seven 100 yard touchdown runs, a career high for him. He has mustered up only 343 yards on 6 carries, with only one 100 yard touchdown run." THE PLAY-BY-PLAY: Buffalo Bills (1-2) vs Las Vegas Raiders (1-2). There is no doubt that the Buffalo Bills are not yet finished this season. They're going to continue to battle for first place in the AFC East and try to secure a playoff spot. They have been in this position before in 2017, when the Bills won four games and then dismantled every single team in the playoffs as a Wild Card Teams, including crushing the NFC Champion Detroit Lions in LIEFL-Super Bowl XIII, 49-35. Buffalo's All-Pro running back OJ Simpson broke a number of Long Island Electric Football League records in that game, rushing for 205 yards and Simpson scored seven touchdowns in the game! He may have slowed up a bit, but understand, the league has caught up very fast. That is what is happening here with great draft-picks, and the coaching has been competitive as heck! Last season Buffalo beat the Los Angeles Chargers 49-48 on a controversial play with 11 seconds left to go in the game and a dispute over the clock ensued with lots of arguing, but Buffalo had their way with Billy O'C as coach. That dispute will carry over next week when Buffalo plays Los Angeles again in Week#5! The Bills season last year surprisingly ended on a sour note. They were beaten by the Miami Dolphins 31-21 the AFC Championship Game! This battle with the Raiders, who also were a playoff team last season is going to be a huge challenge for Buffalo on the road. For the Raiders coach "Mac" Maloney said that, "Dave Casper has to have a huge day and set us up with great field position. Bo Jackson and my offensive line will do the rest. We are really on the fence this season as I'm seeing Casper slow up a bit after having five amazing season. The problem for Buffalo is that the Raiders play awesome at home. But between Bruce Smith and Marcell Dareus, the Raider front-line will have their hands full. And on the opening kickoff Dave Casper exploded for 52-yards, tackled by the Bills, Andre Reed to the Buffalo 48-yard line in this very exciting match-up! On Las Vegas' first run running back Bo Jackson suffered a huge loss of yardage as the Bills pound the Raiders for a 22-yards loss by a swarming Buffalo Bills defense! Coach Billy OC's defense came to play today as Jackson and the Raiders get pushed back for another 12 yard loss on second down, making it third and 32 yards to go for the first down for Las Vegas. The Raiders seemed to be in trouble until Raiders quarterback David Carr hit tight end Dave Casper for a huge 76-yard play and a first down! Casper took the ball to the Buffalo 4-yard line! What a play by the Raiders! So much for the pre-game controversy surrounding Casper, with 9:20 left to go in the half! On the very next play, Carr went to Casper again, as Casper got turned around at the line of scrimmage and swung back to the opposite side of the field to catch a 4-yard touchdown pass to give the Raiders the lead 7-0, with 7:31 left in the half! On Buffalo's first kick return OJ Simpson exploded for an sizzling 89-yard kick-return as Raiders linebacker Ted Hendricks saved the day, making tackle at the 11-yard line for Las Vegas! On the very next play Simpson ran in the one yard touchdown to tie the score 7-7! As the first half came to a close Dave Casper returned a 37-yard kick when Casper was slammed to the turf by Simpson on a great tackle. The Raiders were not able to get anything going on the run, losing another seven yards to this Buffalo high-pressure defensive line. The new Bills uniforms look spectacular. Coach Billy O'C did a beautiful job and so did the Buffalo Bills on the next play as they stopped Jackson again, forcing the Raiders to pass on third down. Thus far, the Raiders had four runs for zero-yards. And on third down on a great play by Buffalo defensive tackle Darryl Williams, Williams stopped Raiders receiver Tim Brown for five-yards, cutting the Raiders short of a first down as Las Vegas is forced into a fourth down situation. Las Vegas was in a very tough spot. Coach Maloney decided to go for it, which seemed like a crazy move against this Buffalo defense. And on fourth down, Buffalo rookie, Ray Brown came up with a huge hit in the Raiders backfield, tackling Jackson for the loss! The Bills took over at the 30-yard line of Las Vegas! The speed and energy of this Buffalo team was eye opening as they intensify their desire for success. Maybe they have learned lessons, maybe Billy O'C is feeling the Bills energy, but one thing is for sure, they man-handled Las Vegas in dominant fashion! On Buffalo's first down OJ Simpson did what he does best, he took control of the offense, barreling his way 21-yards for the first down, with 6:45 left to go in the game! On the next play from 9 yards away, Simpson scampered into the end-zone through a beautiful hole opened up by his front line to give the Buffalo Bills the lead 14-7, with 5:30 remaining in the game! Buffalo is on fire! This was the Raiders last hope to tie the game. There is nothing wrong with Dave Casper! On the returning kickoff, Casper ran back 48-yards and was tackled by Bills lineman Darryl Williams again, with 4:10 left to go in the game. The Raiders do not have much time and will be forced to go in the air it out in order to at least attempt to tie the game. And one play later, Dave Casper just shut everybody up with his second touchdown of the game, this one for 52-yards to tie the game 14-14, with 2:06 left to go in the game with the clock running and time running out for Buffalo! What a game! OJ Simpson took back a 76-yard kick return to the Raiders 24-yard line with one minute left to go in the game. The excitement was building to a dramatic finish as both teams hurried to set. Simpson had a 16-yard run, forcing the Bills to kick the game winning field-goal from the 7-yard line to win the game 17-14, in a dramatic spectacular finish! Buffalo (2-2), takes back the road tying the New York Jets (2-2) for second-place in the race for first place in the AFC East! OJ Simpson expanded his yardage today running all over the Raiders just as Dave Casper expanded his running all over the Bills in a tremendous finish! Simpson finished the day with 222 yards and two touchdowns with an 89-yard kick return on seven carries. Dave Casper quickly quieted the critics with six carries in 270 total yards, with two touchdowns, including a 76-yard pass reception! What a day for Casper! For the Buffalo Bills (2-2), it's do or die next week as they head to Los Angeles to play a rematch of the AFC Divisional Championship Game against the red-hot Chargers (3-1), for the game of the year for both teams in their quest for an AFC title. The Raiders (1-3) are starting to fade. They play at Atlanta next week to face the Falcons (2-1).
