  1. NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 8, 2020, Patchogue New York. We are not selling anything but an "ideal". In an effort to promote global diversity, solidarity, and universal comradery, the Long Island Electric Football League has established a membership to promote our game maker Tudor Games and its hobbyists. Our mission is to understand cultural awareness and diversity, provide sustainability, and conversation in building the bridge to international relations regarding our hobby. Our approach is unique in that by featuring this game and it's amazing hobbyists, we will unite as one people worldwide so that our hobby never dies. Many of us who have been playing this game for 50 years or more want to know that we can entrust our beloved hobby in the hands of responsible and accountable futurists. In other words, the legacy of electric football should never end, as we pass this game down to the next generation of electric football enthusiasts. The National United Brotherhood of Electric Football is a proud and honorable way to make that legacy happen WORLDWIDE. We will paste your league logo into the NUBEF flag for your page in unity! All correspondence will be united in the EFL FORUM page ... “Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” – Vince Lombardi Join in solidarity THE NATIONAL UNITED BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRIC FOOTBALL SEND AN EMAIL TO: Professor of Communication, William O'Connell FREE! williamoconnell63@gmail.com, or email us on here Long Island Electric Football League https://forum.tudorgames.com/files/category/39-2020-long-island-efl-standings-coaches-current-rankings-schedule-2019-leaders-and-liefl-all-time-wins-loss-records/ YOUR LEAGUE LOGO WILL GO WHERE THE LIEFL LOGO GOES IN REPLACEMENT
  2. I was very surprised by the Titans. Every time I have played against that coach the Titans give me trouble, but Miami really was on fire! It will be tough to beat the Ravens, but I am gunning for a huge win over the loudest mouth of our league! The Freeport Chucker! Stay tuned! I located eight games in the attic and I will talk to you about it as soon as I get a minute. Is Zoom okay?

  4. WELCOME TO TODAY'S LONG ISLAND ELECTRIC FOOTBALL LEAGUE'S AFC WILD CARD GAME#3 Tennessee Titans (4-3) at Miami Dolphins (5-2) December 7, 2020 at 3pm LIEFL MAIN PAGE:https://forum.tudorgames.com/files/category/39-2020-long-island-efl-standings-coaches-current-rankings-schedule-2019-leaders-and-liefl-all-time-wins-loss-records/ LIEFL 2020 TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS THE WINNER OF THIS GAME GOES TO BALTIMORE TO PLAY THE #1 SEED BALTIMORE RAVENS! LONG ISLAND ELECTRIC FOOTBALL LEAGUE ANNOUNCES "NATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRIC FOOTBALL" LOGO ARTICLE WRITTEN BY WILLIAM O'CONNELL December 5, 2020, Miami Florida. (Photos will follow) It doesn't matter really, who reads our Forum, we read it! Suffolk County Long Island is an extremely diversified place to live, with nearly two million people in a 60 mile radius, yet it feels, and is, so segregated. We decided to be leaders in being the change we want to see, therefore, we are using our hobby to form the "National United Brotherhood of Electric Football Membership" which supports solidarity, and commitment for a more diversified America! If you want to be part of this, we will add you to our list. Who knows maybe we can all meet some day! This year's Long Island Electric Football "Tournament of Champions" is one of unforeseen hero's, players who rise to the occasion to satisfy the ego of their coaches, and lots of heartbreak in the chase for the Grand Daddy of them all, the LIEFL-Super Bowl XVI title, which will literally be played in Tampa, Florida on December 15th and winning purse $$$! The competition seems a little more real when there is more at stake in the league! Just a little back story. The history of this Miami Dolphins team is what made our original LIEFL successful, but those years have flown by since 1972, when a legendary woman from Havana, Cuba immigrated here on Long Island in the late 50's to escape the incoming wrath of Cuban Dictator, Fidel Castro. Her family lost everything to the Communist Regime, and her father was imprisoned in the Bay of Pigs Revolution when he exiled to fight against Castro, but the family never lose their sense of dignity, and they never escaped their roots of what transpired them to do great things in the face of evil. Fast forward to building her own family, she eventually bought an electric football game for her son's in 1972, and she taught the kids how to play electric football. Imagine? This woman, Sylvia, wasn't just anybody, she was a bonafide athlete who played internationally on the Cuban Volleyball team long ago, long before the generation of fame and money empowered athletes, but she loved all sports, and she passed them on to her children with a trophy room of more than 600 trophies, plaques, awards, citations, and whatever else made her the woman she was (Some of her trophies to left). In Bay Shore, Long Island, she was the first woman's umpire in the men's baseball league, she started CYO Youth sports for girls in basketball, softball, and volleyball, and she inspired thousands of kids in the developmental stages of their lives, when children are so impressionable. She is someone who believed in equality for women, and she fought for civil, human, and women's rights in this country. In a sense, she was a respected pioneer! When people die, the life they lived is acknowledged and then days, weeks, months, and years pass by and sometimes memories fade, but we can't allow that. It's been five years since the death of my mom Sylvia, and I get to think about her every time we play, remembering the legacy of her life, the love for her children, and the dedicated coach and athlete she was. It was Sylvia, who bought my first electric football game uniting a community of kids who are now men who still play! The United Brotherhood of Electric Football stands in Sylvia's name because that's what she did, unite people from every walk of life. She made our house into sort of a United Nations, with kids coming over and playing from every ethnicity. She was rare for the 1960's and seventies in New York, but she did the right thing, she was a bridge builder. This is our bridge to cross together to open people's minds and transform a world of ignorance into understanding. It's what Sylvia was all about--togetherness, teamwork, winning, and individual self-growth. I am proud to say that she made me the man I am today. THE GAME: The Miami Dolphins were a surprise powerhouse last year. After winning several players in the draft two seasons ago, it took some time for Miami to develop, but when they did, their picks were instrumental in making the Dolphins a serious contender again. One of those players who changed the Miami front line is Jason Taylor. Under the tutelage of LIEFL Hall of Fame Member, Bob Kuechenberg, Taylor gradually grew into the nose and center positions, and he has been mostly responsible for Mercury Morris' production. He didn't do it alone. Larry Little has also been very important to anchoring that front line of the Dolphins, bringing back All-Pro status to a one dominant team. These 2020 Dolphins are not the Miami Dolphins of 40 years ago when we first started playing this game, however, there are some speedy player base bottoms that are still in the league that remain left over from that time. We took the fastest guys from the old-school era and we added them to the draft! The Morris II, bottom is one of them. We call him Morris II, because this is the Mercury Morris rebirth after we accidentally clipped the bottom of the old Morris thirty years ago after Morris set records. He had 118 touchdowns with the bottom before it was destroyed. Has that ever happened to any of you? What a heartbreaking situation which destroyed a Hall of Fame players lifespan. Returning AFC Champion Miami is back this year, but this game playing against the Tennessee Titans (4-3), is going to be a fierce battle of defenses and we cannot predict the outcome. We know that Tennessee does magical things, and you can never count them out of a game because between Titans receiver Brandon Jones and Enron Kinney, the pair have 975 yards with five touchdowns. Then they have the steady Lorenzo Neal, and the big guy in the backfield, Eddie George, who has rushed for 325 yards on 48 carries, with five touchdowns. These Titans are a dangerous football team. In a very short span of six years, Tennessee has made it to two AFC Championship Games, both times coming up short, once 21-17, to New England in 2016, and the other in 2018, to Los Angeles, 42-27. Tennessee's front line is anchored by All-Pro Bruce Matthews, but going up against Miami's Jason Taylor and Larry Little will be a huge challenge for anyone. Taylor seems to get better every game. He has ten defensive tackles this season, so we expect to watch Miami shut down the running game of the Titans and Miami will have to rely on their defense to stop two great Titan receivers to offset the balance of a running attack. Coach Billy O'C will came prepared today, and playing against coach Kevin Maloney will be another huge challenge. Maloney plays these Tennessee Titans on a variety of levels depending on the competition. These plastic figures seem to rise to the occasion without any coaching, or is it our illusion, delusion, or simply something we choose to feel or ignore in the love we have for our league, teams, and the Electric Football Nation Brotherhood? When Miami lost in the LIEFL-Super Bowl XIV last year to the Los Angeles Rams 44-41, we knew they'd be competitive this year, but there's one major obstacle in their way and possibly two. The obstacle in beating the Los Angeles Chargers or Indianapolis Colts whichever, is a huge undertaking but it's great competition and that's what the NFC needs is a great AFC challenge. The Chargers are primed for another Super Bowl, but this time they may very well overcome the obstacles to be the next Super Bowl winner. As we get to this level in the playoffs the teams who have been winning all year are the teams who make the high impact, high octane statements of where their mission has led them. Now that the Los Angeles Rams are out of the picture, the Seattle Seahawks will take on the Washington football team in next week's NFC Divisional Championship Game. As for the AFC the winner of this game is going to head to Baltimore to play The almighty Ravens who have surprised everybody this year with some fantastic electric football. They will have to take on the mouth of the league and the biggest trash talker in Johnny Freeport Chucker. "If you can't run with the big dogs stay on the porch." -John Madden December 7, 2020, Miami Florida. What a way to open again on an electrifying kick return the Miami Dolphins made a statement when Mark Duper ran back an electrifying hundred yard touchdown as the Dolphins took the lead 7-0, at 14:40! Dolphins 7 Titans 0 14:40 Looks like Miami has come prepared but you can expect the same thing in return from a team who's been here a few times themselves in the Titans. The Dolphins sure did look good on that kick return with lots of blocking up front which opened up a huge hole in the center of the field for Super Duper! Tennessee's Brandon Jones opened up the Titans first runback with a beautiful 63-yard return himself as the mysterious Tennessee Titans start off on their first possession. On first down Titans running back Eddie George tried to run around the left side of the field, but he was tackled by Miami linebacker Zach Thomas for a 7-yard loss as the Miami defense gets amped up! On second down, Tennessee lost five more yards, forcing a third down pass by Titans quarterback Ryan Tannenhill, but that Miami defense stopped the Titans offense, and they were forced to kick a field goal. Coach Kevin Maloney looked frustrated as he kicked a 35 yard field goal 35 yards through the uprights to make the score 7-3, Miami, with 8:30 left to go and the first quarter! Dolphins 7 Titans 3 at 8:30 On the kickoff for Miami, Duper ran 48 yards on the return and on first down Miami LIEFL Hall of Fame running back Mercury Morris ran for 8 yards, but he was stopped on second down, forcing a third down play where quarterback Dan Marino connected with one of the Marx Brothers Mark Clayton, for a 24-yard first down, bringing the ball to the Titans 24-yard line. On the next first down Morris was pushed back for a 4-yard loss by the Titans defense led by Jacob Ford. With time running out in the first quarter, Miami decided to let the first quarter come to a close as the teams switched sides on the field. Second Quarter Action: To open the second quarter Mercury Morris took charge, exploding from the 38-yard line, bringing the ball to the Titans 13 yard line for a first down with 13:10 remaining in the half! And on the very next play Morris swept around the right side following Larry Little and Brian Cox into the end zone to give the Dolphins a 14-3 advantage with 11:33 left to go in the half! Dolphins 14 Titans 3 at 11:33 Brandon Jones exploded for 55-yard kick return and he was hit hard by Miami defensive tackle, Manny Fernandez! Coach Maloney has to get this Tennessee team motivated, but the Titans seem sluggish. Whatever spark lit Maloney pushed the button on the Titans next play as the front line opened up a hole for running back Eddie George as George ran for 3 yards, 4 yards 14 yards, and finally into the end zone with a 26-yard touchdown to make the score 14-10, Miami in the lead with 4:05 remaining in the half! Dolphins 14 Titans 10 at 4:05 On Miami's next kick return Duper returned the ball for 47 yards! On first down Morris ran 14 yards and the Titans call a timeout with 41 seconds remaining in the half. After running for another 10 yards and a first down Morris and the Dolphins then called timeout at the Titans 29-yard line. Miami set up to pass as they try to run away with the lead going into halftime. On a tremendous play with 16 seconds left Marino found Morris wide open in the middle of the field and Morris ran it into the end zone for a touchdown on a great 29 yard play to extend Miami's lead to 21-10, to end the half! Dolphins 21 Titans 10 END OF FIRST HALF Third Quarter Action Tennessee came out on fire to begin the second half as Brandon Jones returned the ball 37 yards! On first down, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannenhill threw a strike to Jones on the very next play for a 38-yard first down as Jones ran the ball to the Miami 25 yard line! What a play! One play later Eddie George picked up a 15-yard first down on a beautifully executed run as Tennessee came alive in the second half with 10:49 left in the third quarter! The Dolphins have been switching up the "D" line throughout the entire game with all different looks, and quite frankly Coach Maloney has had a hard time making the adjustments as Coach Billy O'C kept Maloney's Titans off balance. On the next play Miami's All-Pro defensive end Jason Taylor, came in like a monster to make a huge tackle for a 9-yard Titans loss! On third down the Titans couldn't get anything rolling and Tannenhill was sacked by Miami at the 45-yard line by Mark Clayton, forcing a field goal on fourth down to make the score 21-13, Miami still had the lead with 5:45 left to go in the third! Dolphins 21 Titans 13 at 5:45 Coach Billy OC was certainly playing a superior game, and as we said if Miami wins this one they head to the AFC Divisional Championship Game to play the number one seed Baltimore Ravens, but the Dolphins defense has sparked some power with Jason Taylor making two tackles in a row! Miami just blew this one out of the water with another hundred yard kick return by Mark Duper into a clear open field for a super play as Miami expanded the lead 28-13, on a spectacular electrifying kick return by Duper! Dolphins 28 Titans 13 at 4:28 We haven't seen the Titans lose like this all season in this fashion of dominance in a very long time. After a beautiful kick return of 41 yards by Brandon Jones, on first down Eddie George was stopped in his tracks by Jason Taylor again along with Manny Fernandez at the 41 yard line, with the third quarter coming to a close and the two minute warning blowing! When play picked up, the Miami Dolphin defense just exploded on the Titans as Jason Taylor made his fourth tackle of the game, forcing a pass play on third down, which the Dolphins stopped in their tracks! On fourth down Tennessee was forced to punt Titans the football as Miami corners them. Dolphins 28 Titans 13 End of Third Quarter Fourth Quarter Action: Mercury Morris opened the fourth quarter with a huge run of 32 yards, bringing the ball down to the Tennessee 18-yard line as Jason Taylor split the center right open with Morris following Taylor's lead. Morris has close to 100 yards rushing in the game! And this Miami front line is dominating! It almost seems that Tennessee is losing their momentum and right now Miami is working on all cylinders, certainly looking like the playoff team they did this last year in their run to the AFC Championship Game and LIEFL-Super Bowl! It's going to be almost impossible for Tennessee to come back from this one as Morris again, exploded around the right side 30 yards into the end zone to make the score 35-13, with 10:37 left to go in the game! What a play and what a run as Morris scores his third touchdown of the game! The frustration on Coach Maloney's face said it all. Things are not going as planned, and that can make a coach frustrated. Dolphins 35 Titans 13 at 10:37 The Miami defense continued to be relentless as Manny Fernandez and Brian Cox make a huge hit at the 47-yard line of the Titans to bring Brandon Jones to the ground! Miami is playing some game, and we will see the Titans sporting new uniforms for 2021, as we donate these uniforms to the National Electric Football Museum, as Larry Csonka makes the Dolphins 15th tackle of the game to stop Eddie George at the line of scrimmage. Tennessee is not finished yet. Eddie George exploded right through the middle for a 25-yard run but Manny Fernandez made his fourth tackle of the game with 5:03 remaining in the game. That was an absolutely beautiful play by the Titans front line. And, on the very next play it was Fernandez again, making his fifth tackle of the game for a three-yard loss! This Miami defense is no joke and the Ravens will have their hands full next week against Taylor, Fernandez, and Company! We may be seeing this Dolphins team challenge again for an AFC Championship, but oh boy, they are they up against some stiff competition in Baltimore, Los Angeles, or Indianapolis. On the next play Brandon Jones broke free at the 28-yard line and he roared into the end zone for the touchdown to make the score 35-20, as the two minute warning sounded off with Miami still in the lead. Dolphins 35 Titans 20 at 2:00 Coach Billy O'C will now kill the clock and attempt to bring his Dolphins to the divisional championship game for the second straight season, and for the first time in a long time we are seeing an outstanding Miami Dolphin defense play a major role in stopping a touch Tennessee Titans football team, but when the games to to this point in the season, the best survive, and the mistakes are picked out and taken advantage of! Manny Fernandez and Jason Taylor have been the anchors in this game with 54 seconds left to go, Miami finally called a timeout. Morris ran for another first down down to the 33-yard line of the Titans as the Dolphins called their final time out with 19 seconds remaining in the game, with Miami somehow making it look easy. On the Dolphins last play of the game, Mercury Morris ran into the end zone from 33 yards for an incredible touchdown, Morris fourth touchdown of the game as the Miami Dolphins (6-2) beat the Tennessee Titans (4-4), 42-20! The Dolphins were very convincing today with six touchdowns. They shut down a very good Tennessee team as they advance to play the Baltimore Ravens (6-1)! Be a winner. Stand for something. Always have class, and be humble.” –John Madden ARTICLE WRITTEN BY Matt McQueen. December 3, 2020. Dallas, Texas. What a game today, it's the NFC Wild Card Game#2 between the Long Island Electric Football League Washington Football Team, or Redskins (5-2), vs the Dallas Cowboys (5-2).These two teams from a historic perspective, give us an NFL like feel because of the rivalry, which in many ways we ourselves created in order to attempt to replicate NFL football. These two teams last met on September 21,2020. Dallas won that game, 14-10. The Cowboys did a nice job containing Washington Tailback Tony Green, who had 35 yards rushing in that game. On the other end of the spectrum Washington held Emmitt Smith to just six yards in the game. It was Terrell Owens and Michael Irvin who beat Washington. Owens had two carries for 149 yards, with a 100 kick return into the end zone, and Irvin caught a 17 yard touchdown pass to lead Dallas over Washington. Coach Viggs knows this, so that will be his focus, to contain these two, and then worry about Smith. With a (112-70) record, Washington is number #2 ranked All-Time team in the Long island Electric Football League. Washington won a thriller in LIEFL-Super Bowl VII in 1984 by upsetting the Miami Dolphins 34-31, in overtime. In that game Super Bowl VII MVP, fullback John Riggins, rushed for 97 yards with three touchdowns, which for the Redskins at that time, gave Coach Ed Viggs enormous confidence in his ability to win the big games. Washington has been one of the most steady teams in the league, but this game on the road in Dallas in the NFC Wild Card Game is a great division rival matchup and challenge because the two know each other so well. This game has a similar feel to the Seattle and Los Angeles game. Washington has lots of weapons that they will break out today if they need to, but let's start with Tony Green. Green ranked #19 in the LIEFL in All-Purpose Yards with 62 carries for 1190 yards, with seven touchdowns, and in rushing Green had 45 carries for 247 yards, with five touchdowns ranked at #13 in the NFC. Another player who has been very steady this season is Charlie Taylor. Taylor has three catches for 180 yards with a touchdown. As for the Dallas Cowboys they have been rebuilding for three or four seasons now. Rookie coach Levi Vick has a huge undertaking today, but he decided with the league's permission that the Cowboys would wear their white jerseys for the game. Coach Viggs had no issue with the request. Vick has some fantastic players coming into this game. Cowboys star, Terrell Owens has been a beast, and he's been nearly unstoppable. Owens ranked #10 in the NFC in All-Purpose Yards with 21 carries for1196 yards, with seven touchdowns, four of them 100 yarders! Behind big old Larry Allen is a guy by the name of Emmitt Smith. Smith has been the anchor to this team with consistent running and contributions on defense. In many ways, nobody does it better when push comes to shove. Smith finds the holes and the Dallas offensive line has lots of power. On defense linebacker Dexter Coakley has made a difference and stepped up big for Dallas, and Leon Lett plays a fierce game at nose-tackle. Perhaps the Cowboys best defensive player when he's on is tackle Randy White. Both of these teams will put on a show today and then pending on how the special teams works out this one could go either way. After yesterday's thrashing of the New York Jets by the Los Angeles Chargers 52-27, coach Ed Viggs is on the rampage. He is still motivated no matter what! Last season, coach Billy O'C saw his Rams and Dolphins play in the Super Bowl, both his teams. Viggs has ambition to do the same thing with an AFC and NFC team. We think he's the best coach in the Long Island Electric Football League and win or lose he's a great sportsman. Coach Levi Vick in his rookie season has performed well with the Cowboys, but there is no room for error playing against coach Viggs. Mistake after mistake in the AFC Wild Card game Viggs made coach Joey Pizz pay dearly, and Viggs walked away with the AFC Divisional Championship Game #1 against the Indianapolis Colts (7-1). Coach Levi Vick comes over from a Nassau county league that he won two Championships playing in. In the LIEFL coach Vick has done well at (9-17). He shows lots of promise! He also encouraged his former Nassau County Long Island League to put all of their information up on Tudor's website, but we have not seen any mention of them to date. FIRST QUARTER KICKOFF: On the opening kick return Cowboys All-Pro Terrell Owen ran 56-yards! On first down Washing did their talking on the field, that's where the Cowboys came to a stop as a ferocious Washington defense stomped running back Emmitt Smith with a 15-yard loss. On second down, Smith couldn't get Dallas back to the line of scrimmage. They were forced to pass on third down, but quarterback Troy Aikman was nearly sacked and he threw the ball away, so Dallas settled for a field goal on their first possession to make the score 3-0 Cowboys, with 9:54 remaining in the first quarter! Washington 0 Dallas 3 at 9:54-1st Washington came prepared but they settled in after a horrible kick return of 20 yards by Tony Green who latched on to defensive tackle Mark May and the play was called dead. On first down, Green wasted no time. He ran 10 yards on his first carry but then on the second carry he was stuffed by the Dallas defense tackle, Harvey Martin along with Larry Allen. On third down quarterback Joe Thiesman threw a beautiful pass to Charlie Taylor who took it down the right sideline for a 43 yard gain to the Dallas 15-yard line and the two minute warning sounded off. With play resuming on first down, running back Tony Green was stopped and on second down Michael Irvin snuck in from the outside and made a beautiful tackle on Green as Washington lost five yards, bringing up third down. The first quarter came to an end! Second Quarter Action: Coach Levi Vick has done an excellent job with the Cowboys defense. So far, the Washington Football team has been ferocious as we watch Charlie Taylor break away on third down to score the game's first touchdown from 15 yards away on a beautiful touchdown catch thrown by Washington quarterback Joe Theismann, who took over for an unproductive Dwayne Haskins. Washington 7 Dallas 3 at 14:04-2nd This being coach Vicks first playoff game in the Long island Electric Football League is a great experience. This time around Washington wasn't so lucky as Terrell Owens scorched the field with a hundred yard touchdown run to put the Cowboys ahead 10-7, on an absolutely spectacular run! Washington 7 Dallas 10 at 11:51-2nd Washington's Tony Green came storming right back with a 77-yard kick return of his own to set up Washington at the 23-yard line of Dallas! On first down Green ran 13 yards to the ten-yard line, hit hard by Cowboys defensive tackle, Harvey Martin who made his second tackle of the game with 9:54 remaining in the half! And on the very next play Green swept into the end zone for a touchdown to give the Washington the edge 14-10 with 8:36 remaining in the half! Washington and Dallas are at war! Washington 14 at 8:36-2nd Dallas 10 On the following kickoff Terrell Owens blazed down the field again for an 81-yard kick return, but Dexter Manley saved the day and tackled him at the 19 yard line of Washington on another tremendous play by Owens who's just getting warmed up! On first down Emmett Smith ran for four yards. Then on second down he ran for another six and picked up a first down at the Dallas eight-yard line. But on the next play Dexter Manley made a tremendous stop for Washington, chasing Smith in the backfield for an 18-yard loss! It was Manley's third tackle of the game with 2:49 left to go in the half. On the next play with the clock running Emmett Smith caught a nine yard pass, bringing the ball back to the 18-yard line, still 10 yards short of where Dallas was originally at the line of scrimmage. This brings up third down for the Cowboys! Emmitt Smith exploded to the five yard line, but the Cowboys had a settle for a field goal, finding themselves up against a wall of maroon, as the relentless Washington defense shut Smith and the Cowboys down. The field goal made the score 14-13, Washington in the lead with 51 seconds left to go in the half and Washington called a timeout! Washington 14 at 8:36-2nd Dallas 13 at 51 seconds-2nd Washington can use a big play here! Wow, the called was answered! Tony Green just lit up the scoreboard with a 100-yard kick return on a spectacular play executed by Washington to give them the lead 21-13 with 36 seconds left and Dallas called a timeout! This is some game and Terrell Owens has been hot, but what a play by Green! Washington 21 at 36 seconds-2nd Dallas 13 Holy cow! We have ourselves a game as we watch Terrell Owens take back his own 100 yard touchdown, for his second of the day! Unbelievable football game that has this place is on its feet going crazy! The Cowboys stormed right back to make the score 21-20, with 20 seconds left in the half! Washington called there last time out of the half as we look on in amazement! Washington 21 Dallas 20 at 20 seconds-2nd Finally to bring the first half to the close, Tony Green ran back a 50 yard return and was hit hard by Cowboys outside linebacker, Dexter Coakley to end the first half! Third Quarter Action: To open the third quarter it was Dexter Coakley again, showing up to ring the doorbell of Tony Green, stopping Green at the 35-yard line and the Washington offensive line comes out for the second half! With a wide open hole on first down Cowboys linebacker Bob Lilly came up with a huge hit on Tony Green who ran for 13 yards to the 49-yard line and Lily saved Dallas from a touchdown by Washington. Washington's offensive line really kicked in as Green picked up another 15 yards, taking the ball to the Dallas 36-yard line with 11:27 remaining in the third quarter. Coach Levi Vick is desperately trying to stop the Washington running attack as Green picks up another first down at the Dallas 25 yard line with 9:45 left to go in the third quarter! On first down Washington opened up a huge hole and Green ran right through the middle for a 25-yard touchdown as the Washington football team takes the lead 28-20 with 8:27 left to go in the third quarter! Washington 28 Dallas 20 at 8:27-3rd This time on the kick return Terrell Owens fought hard for 56 yards. After being stopped on first and second down Emmitt Smith and the Cowboys needed a first down but they got more on a beautiful pass from Troy Aikman to the star of the game for the Cowboys, Terrell Owens who grabbed his third touchdown of the game with a 44-yard pass reception to make the score 28-27, with 1:53 left to go in the third quarter as the two minute warning sounds off! Washington 28 Dallas 27 at 1:53-3rd As the third quarter came to a close Green returned a 45-yard run hit by Harvey Martin, who made his third tackle of the game. On first down Green ran for nine more yards to the Dallas 41-yard line to end the third quarter! Fourth Quarter Action Tony Green exploded for 24-yard run to the Dallas 17-yard line with 14:44 remaining in the game as Leon Lett made a big tackle for Dallas! The matchups in this game have been terrific by both coaches. This game and it's intensity just grew as Tony Green was shut down on his next two runs, bringing up a third down situation for Washington. Washington failed to get the first down, making it fourth down with a huge decision in the game which could be a deal-breaker for Washington! Coach Viggs decided to go for it and hand the ball to the "Diesel" John Riggins at the 10-yard line and the next play, RIggins bullied his way into the end zone on the riskiest play of the game by coach Viggs, for a touchdown! but he believed in the Diesel, and Riggins did what he does best, perform under pressure to make the score 35-27 with 7:46 remaining in the game! What a game! It has turned into a nail biter! Washington 35 Dallas 27 at 7:46-4th A huge Tyrell Owens ran 58 yards back on the kick return, and it took two guys to bring him down, Tony Green and Art Monk as Dallas starts at the Washington 42 yard line, with 6:07 remaining in the game! No matter what happens Dallas needs two scores, and this is going to be a rough ending! On first down Emmitt Smith ran for another first down to the Washington 31 yard line, but then he was slammed on second down by a storming defense of maroon jerseys, pushing Smith back to the 43 yard line, forcing a pass play on the upcoming third down with 3:01 left in the game and Dallas calls a timeout! The Cowboys third down attempt to pass failed as they were shut down by the Washington defense yet again, and on fourth down Dallas kicked another field goal, this time from 43-yards to make the score 35-30, with Washington in the lead as the two minutes warning sounds off! Washington 35 Dallas 30 at 2:00-4th Final two minutes of play: It sure does appear as the Washington will go home to play Seattle and what will be a fantastic game of matchups that would be! Coach Viggs will go on the warpath as his Washington football team sure does have a shot at winning this tournament. And that's all she wrote! Tony Green blasted off again with another electrifying hundred yard touchdown, to put this game to rest as Washington takes the lead 42 30, on an amazing touchdown run by Green! Only one word could describe that play, WOW! Green has had a monster day with his second 100-yard kick return for a touchdown and we've seen a few historic games already in these playoffs! The showmanship has been incredible, and it's getting even more exciting and the fact that Washington is going to play Seattle who beat Los Angeles, that's one incredible game in the making for a huge battle Royale, Marshawn Lynch of Seattle and Tony Green of Washington! Washington 42 Dallas 30 at 1:45-4th This game has left us speechless! Terrell Owens just ran back his third 100-yard kick return of the day into the end zone! WOW! WOW! WOW! As the points continue to tally up, with the score Washington 42 Dallas 37, with 1:28 left to go in the game, and apparently we are not finished in this amazing NFC Wild Card battle! Washington 42 Dallas 37 at 1:28-4th Washington still has two timeouts remaining, but Dallas uses one of theirs as we witness another historic game here. This place erupted on that third touchdown run by Owens and back-to-back touchdowns by Green and Owens have put on a show doing it! On the kick return, Green nearly did it again, running the bowl back 86 yards and ramping up the yardage! Washington is just going to let the clock run as they set up with 42 seconds on the clock, Washington wins the game as they kick a field goal to make the score 45-37! Washington 45 Dallas 37 FINAL Washington is heading back home to play the Seattle Seahawks (5-3), for the NFC Divisional Championship Game! Dallas and coach Levi Vick played an amazing game, but it wasn't enough to beat these almighty ferocious Washington Football Team, who won their 113th career victory! After the game we caught up with Coach Viggs who said, "Man that is a great Cowboys football team, one of the best I've seen in years. Levi Vick did an amazing job coaching them, and you have to really respect Dallas after that game, and Tony Green gets the game ball and MVP for today! He played an amazing game, but really, the key play of the game may have been John Riggins running the ball in from the 10-yard line! That could have changed everything but our defense was solid today. They did exactly what they needed to do to win this game! Hail to the Redskins!" ARTICLE WRITTEN BY: LEVI VICK. December 2, 2020. Los Angeles, California. Our John Madden of Long Island electric football is a huge Raiders fan himself. Slawson's Corner's Andrew Slawson, will be inducted into the Long Island Sports Hall of Fame in May for his astonishing work covering high school football and wrestling for a major newspaper. Slawson has been in the middle of some incredible exchanges in this league for calling it the way he sees it when it comes to games and coaching. The New York Jets have been a brazen team in the electric football league this season. They have some characteristics that resemble the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC. As you know by now, Seattle just upset the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams in the NFC wild card game. The Jets have a similar undertaking, but they have to stop LaDainian Tomlinson who has been one of the most explosive runners in the league. He was the number one offensive player back in the LIEFL-AFC last year, winning AFC MVP honors. Today, we expect the Chargers to unleash that high-octane offense in their quest to win an LIEFL-Super Bowl. They do have a legitimate shot at it, considering the Rams lost yesterday. The goal for the New York Jets today will be to match the intensity of the Chargers. If they can find a way to stop, or slow down the running game of Los Angeles and their offensive line filled with studs, this could be a close game. New York Coach Joe Pizz against Los Angeles coach, Ed Viggs is always a great matchup! GAME TIME: First Quarter Action: Wow! Out of nowhere on the opening kickoff, Jets defensive back Bruce Harper slashed into LaDainian Tomlinson at the 36-yard line and Tomlinson is slow to get up after being nailed! That was a statement regarding intensity. It's like these players talk to us! The Charges front line is a star-studded with All-Pro's Ernie Ladd, Earl Faison, and Booker Brown and the Jets feature Wesley Walker, Winston Hill who will start in the Pro-Bowl, and Jamal Adams as their swaggering All-Stars! On first town LT ran around the left side of the Jets line for a 54-yard first down to the Jets 10-yard line and Coach Pizz will have to make some adjustments to stop Tomlinson. On that last play Jets lineman Winston Hill, ran right through the line for the Jets. Hill has been a tremendous leader, but Tomlinson ran around the outside again, scoring the game's first touchdown from 10 yards away with 10:42 remaining in the first quarter to make the score 7-0, Los Angeles! Wesley Walker returned the ball 42 yards and was hit head-on by Chargers defensive tackle Booker Brown, setting up the first down for the Jets on their first possession of the game. Jets running back Le'Veon Bell hopes to earn some respect today as do the Jets with their offensive line as Bell ran for 25-yards on first down, slashing through the right side with great blocking by Marty Lyons! What a tremendous play! Coach Pizz seems to have a game plan! Bell has been very reliable this season for the Jets as coach Viggs makes a few defensive adjustments for Los Angeles, switching Booker Brown up to face Marty Lyons. Lyons should have made All-Pro, but the coaches didn't see him as a dominating player. On the Jets next run, Los Angeles delivered a five-yard loss to the Jets, with the battle in the trenches about even so far. What a play! On third down Le'Veon Bell stood still for a minute and then rushed out of his post to score on a 38-yard touchdown by quarterback Sam Darnell as the Jets tied the score 7-7, with just 2:33 left to go in the first quarter! Both teams let the clock wind down to the two-minute warning. So far, these Jets have proven to be a worthy opponent for the Chargers in a fast paced, action packed game. Chargers 7 Jets 7 And on the following kick return, Tomlinson was hit hard by LIEFL-All Pro's Jamal Adams and Winston Hill at the 47 yard line! Coach Viggs mentioned that he was going to test Kellen Winslow against the Jets today. Adams and Hill have turned things around for New York, and if you look at the matchups on paper, that inside line game is a really important part of this success for the both the Chargers and the Jets. On first down for Los Angeles, Tomlinson ran for 35 yards to the Jets 18-yard line, as he is brought down by Winston Hill again! What a play as the first quarter comes to a close! Second quarter action Tomlinson on first down Tomlinson ran for another 14 yards bringing the ball to the 4-yard line of the Jets and on the following play he exploded into the end zone to make the score 14-7, with 13:08 remaining in the half! That offensive line just shows how powerful they are and the Jets are playing hard against them Chargers 14 Jets. 7 "Respectfully, we feel that All-Pro in the Long Island Electric Football League to us means that that player is superior and that their play performance is without a shadow of a doubt stellar in every way, offensive blocking, defensive dominance, tested, worthy of the definition of All-Pro, and that they will put up the fierce this battle, when compared to their rivals! They don't always have to win the battle, but they have to be in the battle! That's how serious we take the All-Pro award in the league. Like most excellent leagues, we don't just hand it out the award. That respect has to be earned through an acknowledgement system through recognition and respect by the other coaches in the league," said Professor and LIEFL Commissioner, Billy O'Connell. After Wesley Walker's 44-yard kick return, the Jets got turned back on two plays by the Chargers defense, and the Jets are now at their own 30-yard line and forced to pass with 7:55 remaining in the half. The Jets found themselves in big trouble and the Chargers defended against the past and as a result the Jets have to punt the football. Coach Viggs decided to put the ball in the hands of Kellen Winslow as Los Angeles breaks out the weapons! Winslow torches the Jets with a spectacular play, running it back 100 yards into the end zone to give the Chargers the runaway lead 21-7, with 4:38 remaining in the half! What a run by Winslow! The Chargers are bringing all the Jets can handle! Coach Viggs is playing a flawless game! Chargers 21 Jets 7 Wesley Walker returned the next kick return 45 yards and the Jets called that first time out of the half with 2:51 left to go in the half. And on the Jets next play, on a poor pass by quarterback Sam Darnell, he threw an interception to Kellen Winslow at the 45-yard line and Winslow blazed into the end zone for a touchdown in a huge turn of events, making the score 28-7, Los Angeles expands the lead, with 2:12 left in the half in this AFC Wild Card Game! You can't make mistakes like that against coach Viggs as we come to the two minute warning! The Jets have to reboot and make this a game. Coach Pizz tried to go for it all on that pass play. He saw a wide open Bruce Harper, but it was too far of a pass to make and the he paid dearly for the risk as Kellen Winslow was right in the path of the pass, coming in the opposite direction. To our knowledge, we don't ever recall an interception being brought back for a touchdown in this league, so that is a first! Chargers 28 Jets 7 It sure does look like the Jets are in big trouble here as New York calls another time out, and Coach Pizz was deciding whether to aim for a field goal, or pass. The Jets have done very little offensively, and mistakes are something you cannot make against the Chargers. This isn't a team that opponents will catch up to, especially with a 21 point lead. On the Jets third down, Sam Darnell connected with Wesley Walker on first down for a 25-yard pickup to the Chargers 45-yard line as the Jets called their last time out of the half trailing 28-7. With time running out New York kicked a field goal from 25 yards away to make the score 28-10, with the Chargers in the lead with seconds remaining in the half. Chargers 28 Jets 10 The Chargers changed the game plan a little bit and gave Kellen Winslow the ball once again, and he returned the ball 65 yards as the first half came to a close! Third Quarter Action To start the third quarter, Wesley Walker stormed back with a 47 yard run. The Jets confidence turned, down 28-10, they just didn't play like a team being beaten. They played with a chip on their shoulder, like the kid who stands up to the tough guy, these New York Jets were not backing down. They are building on something nice here in New York. On a second down run, Kellen Winslow came out of nowhere to make a hard tackle on the Le'Veon Bell at the 30 yard line, for another eight-yard loss back to the Jets 30-yard line. The Jets are in trouble again. Coach Viggs and his Los Angeles Chargers if they win this game, will play against any Indianapolis in the "battle of the Titans," and it will be hard to watch either of these teams lose. Sam Darnell was forced to pass the ball away on third down, and again, the Jets had to punt the football. The Chargers have been saving the speed and strength of Kellen Winslow for games like this. Two seasons ago he was the top receiver in the league, but with Tomlinson in the backfield and the Chargers offensive line doing their job, Los Angeles hasn't had a need to pass. Coach Viggs decided to get these Winslow and Alsworth involved in the game if he could to make a three-prong attack blow up the scoreboard, but as you can see, two was enough! Winslow returned the football 60 yards on the punt as the Chargers show their superiority in the league! Tomlinson was not finished being the story today, and he was only too happy to share it with his teammate Winslow, as Tomlinson rans in a 40 yard touchdown into the end zone on the very next play to make this score 35-10 Los Angeles, with 7:04 left to go in the third quarter! What a dominant performance as Los Angeles gives the Jets a 1-2-3 punch! And we haven't even seen Lance Alsworth, who is also a fiery player, make any plays yet. Chargers 35 Jets 10 On the ensuing kick return Wesley Walker blazed 65 yards downfield and and All-Pro Winston Hill was knocked off his feet along with Bruce Harper, for his earlier hit on Tomlinson to start the game. The Chargers were dishing out the punishment now. But on the next two plays, the Jets offense behind Winston Hill was not going to quit as Bell ran for a 15-yard first down, and then another first down to the 10-yard line as the two-minute warning sounded off to signal the near end of the third quarter. This has not been a boring football game regardless of the score. The players have been exciting and the Jets really have played well, they've just made mistakes and mental errors, but these Jets will be back next year and they will make some minor changes to be fierce competitors, which is the goal of every LIEFL team. They're playing against one of the best teams in the Long Island Electric Football League in Los Angeles. In the past the Chargers felt cheated out of a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Last year when they lost 49-48 in the AFC Divisional Championship Game to the Buffalo Bills, it set off a motivation for coach Ed Viggs to take revenge out on the league because he believes in these Chargers and he feels they are the best team in the AFC to compete with the dominant NFC in a Super Bowl. The NFC is a good 14 teams strong, but the AFC is a good 12 teams strong. There were a good 25 teams still alive and competing for a playoff slot up until week 6 in the season. On first down Bell lost 11 yards as the left side of the Jets line caved in with the clock running and 56 seconds left to go in the third quarter, and on a beautiful play well executed by the Jets offense, Bell ran around the left side into the end zone for a touchdown to make the score 35-17! The third quarter came to a close with the Chargers in the lead, 35-17! Chargers 35 Jets 17 Fourth Quarter Action The Los Angeles Chargers were not finished yet! To open the fourth quarter, Kellen Winslow exploded for his second hundred yard kick return of the game into the end zone! Like a lightning bolt, the Chargers ran up the lead 42-17, on a spectacular run by Winslow bringing everyone to their feet! LA was a scoring machine. They rebuilt this team three years ago. They had that one disappointing thing season in 2016, but man did they come back with a vengeance. What great work by coach Viggs! Chargers 42 Jets 17 This game was far from over as we watch back to back 100 yard touchdowns with Jets star Wesley Walker running into the end zone with blazing speed to make the score 42-24, WOW! The Chargers still had the lead with 12:45 remaining in the game as we watched the Jets play for pride! New York has turned their second half into a competition as they bring the excitement back to New York for 2021! Chargers 42 Jets 24 Kellen Winslow returned his fifth kickoff return for 40 yards this time, and Coach Viggs looks like he wants to control the rest of the clock with the running game! What a performance by both of these teams! The game would be worth paid entry on an otherwise boring COVID-19 evening! What a performance LaDainian Tomlinson ran a 55-yard touchdown into the end zone after a 7-yard first down. The Chargers take the lead 49-24 with 7:45 remaining in the game, and it has been an exciting one regardless of the score! Chargers 49 Jets 24 Coach Billy OC was on hand watching and scouting the Chargers, and everybody knows that that game between Indianapolis and Los Angeles if they make it, is going to be like the Super Bowl for the AFC Divisional Championship Game. Wesley Walker is having his best game of the year with a 70-yard return and Kellen Winslow chased him down and made the tackle. Winslow has been absolutely unbelievable as the clock ran down to 6:43 remaining in the game with both of these teams putting on a show. The Jets could overtake the AFC East next year with the talent they have. And on first down the Jets were turned back by the Chargers defense to the 40-yard line, and on second down Chargers linebacker, Louie Kelcher made a big hit on Le'Veon Bell, bringing up third down with 3:43 remaining in the game! And on third down, the Los Angeles defense came up big once again, stopping the Jets on third down, with nobody to pass to except for Le'Veon Bell, who was stopped in his tracks by LA linebacker, Junior Seau! And the Jets kicked another field goal to make the score 49-27 with the two-minute warning sounding off. Chargers 49 Jets 27 On the ensuing kick return Kellen Winslow ran back 54 yards, giving Tomlinson a chance to score his fifth touchdown of the game. The Jets seemed to have gotten better throughout the game, and their offense picked it up and worked on all cylinders for the last two quarters of football, but looks like Coach Pizz has learned a lot. And the Jets held off Tomlinson at the 45-yard line, at the line of scrimmage and the Chargers called their last time out of the game with one minute remaining. Tomlinson then ran for another first down of 14 yards, with 36 seconds left to go in the game! And on the next attempt, the Chargers were pushed back on a penalty for no quarterback? They're forced to kick a 40 yard field goal after losing the down and ten yards to make the score 52-27! Chargers 52 Jets 27 The Jets called a time out with 14 seconds remaining in the game. The Tournament of Champions in the 2020 season has been filled with great competition! It has been one of the most exciting seasons to remember as the game comes to the close. On the last play of the game, Wesley Walker returned the football 35 yards, and the Los Angeles Chargers win the game 52-27, advancing them to the AFC Divisional Championship Game to play the Indianapolis Colts (7-1). What a game that's going to be, but what a terrific game played by the Jets! It was a game that produce more than 1400 yards in offense, 10 touchdowns, and 18 tackles. It was a stellar performance by the Los Angeles Chargers (7-1), and Ladanian Tomlinson who rushed for 233 yards with four touchdowns! Kellen Winslow had 478 yards with two 100 yard kick returns for touchdowns, and Wesley Walker exploded for 503 yards with a 100 yard touchdown run! Coach Viggs said after the game, "That was a heck of a football game by coach Pizzenti, (as he calls Pizz), and as for the rest of the league, my Chargers will be ready for anybody! We want to take on the best opposition that there is, and next week's game against Indianapolis should be a terrific game against Billy O'C." This league collects lots of data, as you may have read if you follow the LIEFL, which helps our LIEFL coaches to plan for a game. As we learned way back when we played against and beat, one of the person's selected to play in the premiere World Championships of Electric Football in Chicago, hosted by Miggle back in 1995, our strategy involved a team which dismantled a weaker opponent, all because of statistical data. We put one of our "Beast's from the East" up against our opponents undefeated Chicago Bears, beating them 21-7, with our LIEF #8 ranked Dallas Cowboys. Emmitt Smith had three touchdowns and over 100 yards rushing in the game. These coaches here, study the data very closely, religiously, and then they come up with a game plan. The Long Island Electric Football League has been doing this for decades, so it usually comes down to execution, or failure to execute when deciding the winner of the game, but the playoffs have taken a whole different turn. In 2018, OJ Simpson changed the outcome of the game with his pure talent, and the data became history as Buffalo went on the tear up the AFC and eventually the Super Bowl against a weaker Detroit team that season 49-35. The Bills were a good team, who became great and coach Billy O'C used the data against the Cleveland Browns that season when Buffalo embarrassed the Browns 42-14! You never know what to expect! Over in the AFC Wild Card Game yesterday between Denver and Indianapolis, which Indy won 27-10, we watched the number #1 offense in the LIEFL get dismantled by the #2 defense, the Indianapolis Colts! O'C relied on the data and the matchups. You don't get that advantage when we play in tournaments because we have no idea who we are playing, but we do know who we are bringing to the war, without tweaks, long game stops, over-sized players, and at times, arrogant people. We have a uniform standard, paint standard, and strict rules in our league, just like a professionally run organization and just like many leagues around the country. And, we have a huge pay day for the winner so the competition is totally fierce! We have had our battles here on Long Island with other leagues, but in the end, it is all about the matchups and sportsmanship. Long Island Sports Hall of Fame Inductee and LIEFL game day analyst Andrew Slawson said about LIEFL's first 400 game winner, "Coach Billy O'C is very competitive and he is a planner who doesn't panic or fall into the trash talk pit. He is all class, on the board and off. Win or lose he is going to bring a war to you! So be ready for a game." O'C said, "I do not think I am better than anyone at all, I just like to play the game. When I compete, I am focused and the day of a game everything is synchronized. The General never goes to a battle without a game plan, and even a backup plan in electric football. It becomes a chess match between skillful hobbyists. I respect everyone who plays electric football, and that is the key to the city, building friendships, learning, even teaching great people who share commonality in a game we love." SEAHAWKS STUN RAMS IN OT THRILLER 51-45 AS LYNCH "BEASTS" FAB FIVE DEFENSE WITH 672 YARD PERFORMANCE!!! UNBELIEVABLE! December 1, 2020. Los Angeles Coliseum. It's going down as one of the greatest NFC playoff games in the history of the LIEFL as the "Cinderella" Seattle Seahawks find the magic today and the Rams will never look at Seattle's Marshawn Lynch the same after the All-Pro running back exploded on the Rams for 672 unstoppable total yards! Lynch put on a clinic against the defending Super Bowl Champions, sending them back to the locker room to think about next season as the "New Sherriff" in town made this one unforgettable! To add fuel to the fire, Seattle was on the road, at Los Angeles, their division rival, and they do the next to impossible--beat the Rams in OT 51-45, giving Los Angeles an early Christmas gift! One thing is for sure, the Rams won't be headed to Tampa this month! FIRST HALF OF THE GAME: WRITTEN DURING THE GAME. Today's game was a huge one for the Seattle Seahawks because this is the second time in franchise history that they have made it to the post season. They have battled every opponent this season, including upsetting the Miami Dolphins 14-10, and the Philadelphia Eagles 21-20, which cost the Eagles a second straight playoff appearance for the tough West Division team. Seattle has proven to be a formidable enemy. But can they beat the two time Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams (6-1)? Coach Paddy Brannigan just lost to Billy O'C's Indianapolis Colts 27-10, AND IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE MATCHUPS AND THE DATA! After the pregame ceremony these two teams got down to business. And the Rams were ready for their third try at another Super Bowl, but this road won't be easy. Seattle made history here in Long island Electric Football League and we never saw a more serious Billy OC or Paddy Brannigan, who stands 6'4" and weighs 250 pounds. On the opening kickoff the Super Bowl Champion Rams Isaac Bruce sped to the Rams own 35 yard line. Three plays later running back Wendell Tyler exploded into the end zone from 19 yards away, after two runs of 12 and 34 yards! The Rams are not playing around and they take the early lead 7-0, with 10:28 left to go in the first quarter! Seattle's running back Marshawn Lynch blasted off with a 43-yard kick return and on first down Lynch had a 10-yard run, which brought the ball to the 47-yard line of the Rams, but the Rams defense kicked in and the "Fab-Five" defense made a huge stop for a 9-yard loss with the tackle made by Deacon Jones the All-Pro. The clock seemed to be moving fast in this game with 6:05 remaining in the first quarter. And after two failed runs by Lynch and company, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson connected with Joey Galloway for a 47-yard touchdown play to tie the game at 7-7! What a play! To end the first quarter Isaac Bruce ran 46 yards on the kickoff return setting up the Rams offense in good position. On first down, the Seattle Seahawks turned up like monsters and pushed the Rams back five yards as the first quarter came to a close. To begin the second quarter, LIEFL-Super Bowl XV MVP Ricky Proehl, broke loose on a third down on a pass from Rams quarterback Jared Goff for a 54-yard touchdown spectacular play! The Rams jumped ahead with the lead 14-7, with 12:12 left to go in the half! Lynch returned Seattle's next kickoff 52 yards on a beautiful play. On first down, LA defensive All-Pro Deacon Jones gave Marshawn Lynch the hit of his life, nearly knocking Lynch off his feet and Lynch picked up two yards on the play! On an amazing second down play, Lynch found his way around the outside of the line, through a hole for a 45-yard touchdown run into the end zone with 6:58 left to go in the half to stun the Rams defense! What a play by Lynch as the Seahawks tie the game at 14-14! On the following kickoff Bruce ran the ball back 63 yards setting up Tyler and the Rams in great field position with 3:21 left to go in the half! On first down Wendell Tyler exploded for a 19-yard run to the Seahawks 18-yard line, and again, Tyler picked up another first down, bringing the ball to the 4-yard line of Seattle as the two minute warning sounded off in an absolute battle! Wendell Tyler scooted into the end zone on the first play of the quarter from four yards out to give the Rams the lead 21-14, with 1:50 left to go and Seattle calls a timeout! What an exciting game as the intensity builds. The coaches crowd here erupted running back Marshawn Lynch ran back in 81 yard kick return, and Seattle called their last timeout of the half at the Rams 24-yard line with 1:35 left to go in the half! What a play! Holy Cow! On first down, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw a pass to receiver Joey Galloway, who ran 19 yards into the end zone for the score and the Seahawks tied the game 21-21, with 1:20 left to go in the half! Coach Billy OC has been here many times before, and Coach Brannigan seemed determined to overcome the mind-game coaching! On the kickoff for Los Angeles, Isaac Bruce, who has not been able to break free all day, ran the ball back 45 yards and he was hit head-on by Seattle fullback Shawn Alexander, and both teams ran out of timeouts at the half with 1:09 remaining on the clock! On a beautiful play to end the half Ricky Prohel again caught a 41-yard pass from Goff, and the Rams kicked the field goal to take the lead 24-21, to end the half. What a great first half of football! SECOND HALF: The room erupted to open the third quarter when Seattle's Marshawn Lynch opened with a blazing hundred yard kick return into the end zone for the touchdown! Seattle took the lead over the Super Bowl Champions Billy O'C's Los Angeles Rams 28-24, at 14:42 in the third quarter! The Seahawks are playing these Rams exactly how they need to be played, relentless! Coach Brannigan went wild and the "Lynch-Beast Mode" is back in the West! This game has turned into a dramatic epic battle! Lynch has been very reliable this season and he has carried these Seahawks to where they are at the moment as the #11 All-Purpose player in the NFC this season with 49 carries for 1332 yards, with 11 touchdowns! It's no coincidence that's Seattle's playing the way they are tonight! They've competed against the best teams in the league, but they lost to both Dallas and Washington, two teams them may have to face again should Seattle win this game. The "Reverend" Isaac Bruce ran back a 54 yarder as the Rams fight the battle of burning time on the clock. The Seahawks are certainly playoff material! They're giving the Rams a run for their money, but Coach Billy O'C is not swaying from his game plan at all, which means he will run the ball until he is comfortable enough to make sure plays in the passing department. O'C admits he is a terrible passer, but knows how to control the clock with the best of them! And on first down for the Seahawks, receiver Joey Galloway, who's having an amazing day tackled Tyler in the backfield for an 8-yard loss! On second down the Seattle defense stuffed Tyler again, and on third down LA came up with a big pass play on a 31-yard first down by Goff to Tyler! On first down, Tyler was stopped again at 4:49 left to go in the third quarter. The Seahawks defense has been incredible with LIEFL All-Pro selection, Cortez Kennedy, who led the way as the Rams lose another 20 yards, with third down coming up at midfield at the 50 yard line. Wow! Wow! Wow! On a fury third down, Tyler came up big again, catching a pass from Goff for a 50-yard touchdown connection! The Rams retake the lead 31-28, with 2:23 left to go in the third quarter! What a game this is! Oh baby! Marshawn Lynch is absolutely on fire! Lynch did it again. He just ran back another scorching 100-yard touchdown return as Seattle takes the lead back 35-31, with 1:46 remaining in the third quarter! Don't forget, these two teams are division rivals and this has turned into a historic battle! Coach Billy O'C was prepared for this, or was he? You never know. it's still a close close game but Lynch has been a beast and the Seahawks look like a championship team With a third quarter coming to a close Isaac Bruce ran back 45 yards on the kick return and Seattle has seemed to figure this game plan out and they've done their homework as we begin the fourth quarter This is one of the best electric football games we've seen in a very long time. For the youngsters who may watch a game like, this they can learn a lot from Marshawn Lynch who has schooled the Rams. Even Billy O'C complimented coach Brannigan and his squad saying, "Lynch's run was an amazing run" That's what you call class! On first down, Tyler ran four yards, and on second down Tyler took it 23 yards to the Seattle 32-yard line. The Rams didn't let two big plays phase them at all. They just come right back, but the Seattle defense was relentless and hungry! The winner of this game will be playing the winner of the Washington and Dallas game. Wow! Tyler, on a stunning play ran the ball to the right side behind a huge block by end Jack Youngblood, and Tyler blazed right into the end zone for a 32-yard touchdown to give the Rams the lead 38-35! What an amazing game again! With 11:51 to go in the game! Lynch is truly unstoppable and on the next kick return he was electrifying with a 77 yard run to the Rams 23 yard line! This is the kind of game that leaves you speechless! This room is in an uproar with excitement, with the making of a possible upset in a game between two professional EFLer's! Seattle is not going to quit today folks! On the next play, Joey Galloway beat out Ricky Prohel on a breakaway catch for a 24-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson! It's Galloway's third touchdown of the game as Seattle takes the lead back, 42-38, with 4:58 remaining in the game! The Seahawks have played some game today. After Isaac Bruce took back his seventh kick return of the game for 45 yards, on first down Wendell Tyler lost 11 yards trying to run the football as the two minute warning sounded off with 1:44 left to go in the game! Unbelievable game! The clock wound down and the Rams rode the clock to 55 seconds left before they called their last time out with the score 42-38, Seahawks with the lead! The excitement was unbelievable! On first down with 55 seconds to go in the game Isaac Bruce caught a pass from Goff, and Bruce took it into the end zone on an enormous play by the Rams, as the place erupted again! The Rams took the lead back,45-42, with 36 seconds left and no timeouts remaining for the Rams, but the Seahawks called a time out! What a sensational demonstration of coaching and playmaking by these electric football figures. Marshawn Lynch still had a chance to tie the game and bring it into overtime for these magical Cinderella-team Seattle Seahawks, and this game could go either way! Marshawn Lynch wasn't about to lay down and die after the game he has played today. One word describes Lynch's performance today, DETERMINATION! On the kickoff, Lynch exploded for 60 yards, bringing the Seahawks in scoring range to tie the game, or win it. The Seahawks used their last time out with 21 seconds left to go in the game! On first down, quarterback Russell Wilson connected on a beautiful pass to Marshawn Lynch, who ran for 30 yards, but Lynch ran out of bounds at the 10 and the Seahawks tied the game 45-45, with a 10 yard field goal! We are going into overtime in this NFC Wild Card Game, which has been spectacular show! Rules Commissioner, Pete Porcelli was on hand for the match-up. He said, "The overtime rule is, If the team who possesses the football first in overtime scores a touchdown, they win the game, but if they do not, their opponent gets a chance to score, even if the team before kicked a field goal to take the lead in overtime, and that's the key to overtime, scoring a touchdown rather than the field-goal." And this one is historic! The Seattle Seahawks have taken the two-time defending Super Bowl champions to the brink! Oh my God! The Seahawks win the coin toss in overtime, and the room is going wild! Do we have our first upset in the making in this 2020 Long Island Electric Football League Tournament of Champions? Overtime: Marshawn Lynch returned the ball 72 yards in overtime to the 28-yard line of the Rams, and it's not looking good for Billy OC's Rams. We can't ignore what the Seahawks have done here today! They came here ready for an epic battle with the right personnel in place, and more important , they have executed flawlessly! And the Rams stuffed Lynch at the 40 yard line on first down Seattle's going back to the air on second down to try to win this NFC Wild Card Game! These two coaches left it all on the gameboard! Oh my goodness! We are shocked here! In a major major upset, Seahawks fullback, Shawn Alexander ran a 40-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson into the end zone as the dramatic Seattle Seahawks upset the Los Angeles Rams 51-45! It is stunning! It is news! It is Unbelievable! And Billy O'C immediately hugged Paddy Brannigan's and gave a handshake as the Rams dynasty is cut short this season in a spectacular and dramatic finish to an amazing season! With the song, "Unbelievable" playing in the background, Brannigan shouted, "How about those Seahawks, this is the greatest game they've ever played! Booyah baby! I want that money!" That had to feel great for Brannigan, after Brannigan's Denver Broncos lost to Billy O'C's Indianapolis Colts yesterday in the AFC Wild Card Game! 8. Thanks so much! WOW! That Titans game will be a great one! The coaching will matter in the big games as you know! Packers have an awesome coach, and defense does win games. They will have their hands full with Detroit and or Carolina for sure! I am going to email you later and give you details about some game boards we have so that we can send one. We think what you are doing for electric football is just amazing! Much respect!

Thank you so much for your passion for the hobby! https://forum.tudorgames.com/profile/78-nefgmorg/ This great game pits two teams who've had a great season, featuring the best back in the game this season in the #7 Seed Denver Broncos (4-3) with Terrell Davis. Davis was announced as the AFC Offensive MVP for the 2020 season yesterday as the All-Pro after he led the Broncos to the Wild Card Game today with 58 carries for 1924 yards, with 15 big touchdowns, 8 of them for 100 yards! He is the #1 ranked running back in the LIEFL, besting Detroit's Dexter Bussey's 55 carries for 1863 yards with 16 touchdowns, with six 100 yarders! What a season for these players! The Broncos named Karl Mecklenberg, Von Miller, and Paul Smith to the Pro Bowl roster! Davis will see the likes of a hard nosed defense in the Indianapolis Colts who announced Linebacker Robert Mathis as an All-Pro along with Joseph Addai, Bubba Smith, and receiver Marvin Harrison! Today, 400 win coach Billy O'C's Colts play Paddy Brannigan's Denver Broncos in a war. It is not the first two time these two teams have met in a big game. We can go back to one of the best playoff games ever to 1978 Denver played a great playoff tournament beginning with the AFC Wild Card Game, which became historic. It is the only LIEFL playoff game that would end in a tie. Denver tied Cincinnati 7-7, and after beating New England 27-21 in the AFC Divisional Game, They ended up beating Cincinnati in the AFC Divisional Championship Game 35-14, but lost in the AFC Championship Game to Miami, 21-17. Fast forward to the 1984 season, Denver faced these Colts in a war! In the AFC Wild Card Game they beat the Baltimore Colts 33-32 in a stunner! And in the 1992-92 season, Denver beat the Colts 28-21! The cold war began, and this is the first time Denver has made in back since that season. So now that 28 years has passed, the Indianapolis Colts and Billy O'C want revenge! The opening kick off was so exciting here today with a 55-yard return by Colts running back Joseph Addai, the Colts star running back. On the first set of plays, the Denver Broncos stepped up with defense, but here is the thing. They were ranked dead last in the AFC in defense, and #26th, dead last in the LIEFL in the LIEFL. Going into this game it Billy O'C full well knew to follow the numbers, and that is an example of how important this league becomes when it comes to accurate data. The Colts couldn't seem to get much going on the run with that Denver defense though, as Denver forced the first two plays into the backfield, with third down coming up and 10:09 left to go in the first quarter. And the arch nemesis of Terrell Davis, Joseph Addai, took a pass 43 yards to the Denver 4-yard line for a first down on a terrific play by quarterback Payton Manning! And after a 1-yard run Addai around the outside and into the end zone to give the Colts the lead 7-0, with 6:53 remaining in the quarter! And now the ball is going to go into the hands of the LIEFL AFC Most Valuable Player this season, Terrell Davis. We will see if Davis has the playoff jitters or if he will rise to the occasion for Coach Brannigan. Davis has been absolutely terrific this year, so we don't expect anything less than somebody who's going to come out here and lead against Indianapolis Colts, especially after beating the Raiders in Las Vegas to clinch a Wild Card spot! Davis returned the ball 42 yards on the kick return as he faced the number one defense in the AFC and the number two defense in the NFL in Indianapolis. On first and second down, Davis was pushed back 13 yards by the Colts defense and they went to town on Davis with relentless pursuit, competing hard against a good Denver offensive line. Davis made most of his damage on special teams and kick returns this season. He ranked #6th in the AFC in rushing with 36 carries for 394 yards, with seven touchdowns. Indianapolis wasn't phased. They were relentless with All-Pro Bubba Smith leading the way. Smith was just announced as an All-Pro, and one guy who's not happy that he didn't make the Pro Bowl team is Denver defensive tackle, Reuben Carter, who literally is all over Tony Parker as the first quarter was coming to a close with the teams switching sides at the two-minute warning. It's going to be a long day for Tony Parker and Denver needs to take advantage of that as the first quarter ended with Indianapolis ahead of Denver, 7-0! On first down to start the second quarter, the man of the year Davis, was turned back by the Colts defense who dominated and stopped the Broncos from obtaining the first down, and the Colts took over on offense with 14:24 left till the half, and that spelled big trouble for the Broncos! The Denver defense is what kept them in the game up until this point in the game, with a big first down stop against Addai and the Colts offensive line. On the next running play, quarterback Peyton Manning stepped into the pocket and hit Marvin Harrison for a huge first down, but what a tremendous stop by Neil Smith at the Denver four yard line as the Colts threaten to score again! Denver cannot stop this offensive line of the Colts as Addai exploded into the end zone for his second score of the game to make the score 14-0, with 8:13 left to go in the half! The Indianapolis Colts are warming up! On Denver's next possession, Indianapolis began sinking the Denver Broncos dreams quickly, as they stopped Davis and the Denver offense on three straight plays, forcing a fourth down and the Broncos couldn't do anything but punt with 1:46 left to go in the half! Wow! Terrell Davis has been completely shut down, which is not anything new for big time players who have a great regular season, but then don't handle the playoffs well. On the opposite end of the spectrum the Colts and Joseph Addai have been here before. Addai had a sensational AFC Wild Card Game last year with over 560 yards and four touchdowns in the Colts win over the Raiders 38-34! On the kick return, Addai blazed back 64 yards on the kickoff return and Indianapolis called their first time out of the game before the end of the first half. Indianapolis would like to go into the locker room ahead 17-0, if they possibly could, and somehow Denver is going to have to figure it out at the half, but it will be very tough to come back from this one as Addai picked up 22 yards on the first down, bringing the ball to the Denver 19 yard line. The Colts call another time out and use their last time out of the half. There are four total time outs in the LIEFL, two for each half. This game is certainly not the game we expected. We expected some fireworks between the two running backs, but the Colts defense who've allowed only 64 points the entire season, are playing the ball on both sides and dominating a very good Denver Broncos football team! What a play by the Colts on third down. Manning connected with a wide open Raymond Berry as Berry breaks away for a 19-yard touchdown play to put the Colts up 21-0, with 25 seconds left to go in the half, and Denver called a timeout. Indianapolis came up with 21 unanswered points! The defense has played large for these Colts, but not only can they play defense they have an outstanding offense. And on the last kick return of the half Davis ran the ball back 47 yards, and the Broncos go into the locker room trying to figure this team out! To start the third quarter running back Terrell Davis returned the football 43 yards, but on the five carries that he has run so far, Davis has not a single yard. The Broncos needed a big play, anything to get them back into the game as they chewed the clock up with 6:20 left to go in the third quarter. Davis was repeatedly stopped by this Colts line of Bubba Smith, Elmer Collett, and Quentin Nelson! Davis has gained only two yards in nine attempts. On second down the Broncos decided to air it out. Shannon Sharpe caught a beautiful pass on a cross pattern route from Denver quarterback John Elway, and Sharpe made his second big first down of the game, taking the ball to the Indianapolis 18-yard line with 5:10 remaining in the third quarter. Coach Billy OC so far has put the perfect game plan together for his Colts, and when it comes to the big games O'C lives for them, as the two-minute warning wound down the third quarter to a near close with a score 21-0, Indianapolis is in the lead! These Colts certainly deserve a hat tip for stopping Terrell Davis. They've basically silenced his game and shut off any opportunity for the Broncos to create holes in the trenches. That's very difficult to do in this league, as Indianapolis linebacker Robert Mathis, made the next tackle, making a huge hit on Davis, forcing Denver to kick a 35 yard field goal to make the score, 21-3! Finally the Broncos are on the scoreboard, but Coach Brannigan is not happy. And the Colts call a timeout with 30 seconds left to go in the third quarter. To end the third quarter, Joseph Addai blazed back on the kick return for 67 yards, putting Indianapolis in great field position! The Colts have dominated on both sides of the ball, with some great coaching and play calling by Billy O'C. Nobody likes to see a team get beaten like this but it's not so much the line game that is so interested, but the the strategy behind Billy OC's game plan is what opens eyes. He has taken advantage of every single mistake that Brannigan has made, and we're off to the fourth quarter with Addai running for two yards to the Denver 30 yard line. Again, Addai picked up a first down at the Denver 23 as the Colts threaten to score. There is no quit in Brannigan and the Broncos today. They're just being beat by a better electric football team who haven't been to the playoffs in 28 years! Denver has some work to do. The Colts are on a different mission. It's taking them quite a bit of time to get here but they've improved just a little bit each season, and now O'C has them where he coached them to be, but perhaps the biggest surprise of all is shutting down the best runner in the AFC. The Colts will have to take on the winner of the Jets and the Chargers! After being stopped on third down, the Colts decided to go for three to make the score 24-3, with 8:41 left to go in the game! On the ensuing kick return, Davis blew the doors off of the Colts with an 80 yard return, and for the first time today, Davis showed a little magic! On the Broncos first run, Davis was stopped with just 5:15 remaining in the game. On second down, he took the ball to the 13-yard line on a very nice run for a gain of seven yards with Elmer Collett coming up with his third big hit of the game as Terrell Davis ran for the first down to the seven yard line with the clock running down to 3:22 remaining in the game, and the Colts are not even calling a timeout. They let the clock run down, and Brannigan called no time out either. And the game came down to the two minutes warning with the final two minutes of play and the Broncos were forced to pass again in order to stay alive. Finally, the Broncos Shannan Sharpe, made a big play for Denver catching a 15 yard touchdown pass in the end zone to make the score 24-10, Indianapolis in the lead! On the last kick return for Addai, he ran the ball back 65 yards to bring this game to a close as the Colts ran the clock out and kicked another field-goal to make the score 27-10! And the Colts advance to the AFC Divisional Game to play the winner of the New York Jets (4-3) and the Los Angeles Chargers (6-1)! Coach Billy OC made this Broncos team look like they never had a chance. He said, "The Broncos had a great season, and it is just a matter of time that they come back stronger than ever. We were well prepared for this game, and now we have to be ready for the Chargers or Jets, so I am going to watch that game on Wednesday. We have to be working on all cylinders to beat either of them."
