Old School Electric Football

Recommended Posts

I have the Chiefs and Chargers in the collection of the museum, thanks to Eligio's donation. I have several more team sets that I could paint as well.

Several years ago I traveled to a persons home that only played the game with these figures. He had several teams that he had painted. It was fun playing with them.

I have also seen some of these figures being used on competition teams.

I've found transparancy film (like for use with the old overhead projectors) works nicely to replace the "cleats" on these figures.  Needs to be cut perfectly square.

It's a little hard to snap off the bottom off to replace the cleats, so I'd do that before painting.  Otherwise you run the risk of chipping the paint.
