In another post, Daryl had a great idea for adding the 1969 Black Hemet Saints.

Yeah, mine too. Yes this would be a great addition to the Uni-forms (Doug, Wyatt???). In original factory sealed bags probably would bring thousands or should I dare say "PRICELESS"!!!

I actually think they are going to wear an alternate uniform black helmet this year. New Orleans Saints unveil new black helmets to be worn for at least one game in 2022 (espn.com)

The Original 1969 Hong Kong, Hog Leg, Black Helmet Saints is one of the rarest teams produced by Tudor, having only a one-time limited production run. Produced in Dark Jerseys and White Jerseys, the Saints only wore this helmet in the 1969 preseason. This morning in searching ebay, I found these 2 teams currently listed Tudor Electric Football Original Hog Legs Saints Black Helmet Dark Jersey | eBay, Tudor Electric Football Original Hog Legs Saints Black Helmet White Jersey | eBay. The last time I say any of these teams listed a Dark Jeresy team sold for $850 and a white Jeresy team sold for $315. both these teams seem look to be in near mint condition but the Dark Jersey team is an 'error" having 12 players and not the traditional amount of "fab 5" poses. I have them on my watchlist, since I am very interested in seeing what they wind up selling for. Typically, on teams like this, the bidding starts out slow but goes into a bidding war at the last minute. Here are some pics.

A field cover does not really affect the playability of a game board unless you don't apply it correctly. In other words, getting a lot of air bubbles underneath a vinyl field cover will create "bumps" that could affect a player's direction. Magnetic Covers are easier to apply and are easily removeable but depending on the thickness you may have to turn up the speed of the motor to get the players to move like you want them. The key to a good field cover application is to make sure the surface you are applying it to is clean and free of dust, dirt and debri.

To those who don’t know, This would be my first ever ”big boy” tournament at 12 years old, as my previous and first ever tournament was in Philadelphia, PA, as a 10 year old where my mom was kind enough to drive me to, pay for and sit in a hotel lobby ALL DAY while I played the game with a bunch of hand painted browns figures. This was also my first time meeting most of you and I to this day remember when I saw Big Kieth Chalmers for the first time. I told my mom “mom, that’s old salty! Big Keith!”, I was in some ways star struck. I’ll never forget that man walked up to me (due to my mom telling him All I did was watch EF) and said “what’s up youngster how ya doin?”. I still remember stumbling across EF on YouTube as a 9 year old. watching a miggle tournament game between Keith and Norbert Revels. From then on I was hooked into the Hobby. This tournament here was special to me not only because I got to really see what the EF community was, but what it was able to become. I’m sure many of you remember this was also the tournament Charles Lane made me cry as he beat me in the round of 32 (never lettin you live it down charles 😂). However the help, love and guidance I’ve received from some of you has been beyond what I would’ve expected back then and it also goes beyond EF, but also life itself. There also have been some recent guys as well as guys in this picture who have helped me along that road. Some of the lessons I have learned not only about EF but about the world we live in I will carry with my forever. I just wanted to let you guys know that In the 10 years I have played this hobby we enjoy, you have all inspired me in some way shape or form to carry the game on as well as to be the best man I can possibly be. Thank you all for how far you have advanced the game and expanded my cultural education. Here’s to another 10 years of EF! ( P.S. if you can’t find me I’m the smallest guy In the middle, besides David Nickles lol).

One of the goals I have for the museum is to have and keep league records in the archives of the museum for as many leagues (both solitaire and multiplayer leagues) as is possible. Is this something you would be interested in providing for your league? For those of you who may have missed this. Michael Landsman, long Time President of Miggle Toys has passed away. Michael Landsman Obituary - Wilmette, IL (dignitymemorial.com) Michael and his wife Delayne forever left their mark in the history of electric football and Tudor Games when he purchased the assets of Superior Toys known as "Tudor Games" out of federal bankruptcy court in the early 1990's and resurrecting the game and the "Tudor Games" brand as part of Miggle Toys. You can read the story of this transformation of the game in the book "The Unforgettable Buzz" by Earl Shores and Roddy Garcia There are so many of us who owe our thanks to the Landman's for bringing back the game and keeping electric football alive. My vision for creating the National Electric Football Game Museum and preserving its history probably would never have occurred if it had not been for their vision to bring back the game and their creation of the Electric Football Conventions and Super Bowl Tournaments where I had the opportunity to meet them and have some great conversations about the game and also where I got to know so many of the people who now make up "The Electric Football Community". Thank you, Michael!!

Received these today. In 1982, Tudor Games added a 28 player set of "Quarterbacks of the NFL" to their product line. They came in an attractive storage box with AFC and NFC display cards that could also be used to track standings.
