  1. Very nice collection!! Thanks for posting.
  2. Here are some more custom painted "reproduction" teams using Tudor pre painted "Proline" 67 Big Men Figures.
  3. For those of you interested in Vintage rule sets. Here is a download of the original 1954 Gotham G-880 Rules. 1954 Gotham G-880.pdf
  4. Very cool!! Love the old school. That is what is best about playing electric football. You can create any team you want from any era of football. The yellow numbers got darker because they are not 100 % opaque. There is still some transparency in them.
  5. Just a reminder "The Horse Trailer Classic" is taking place in Clarksville, TN this weekend. This is the only annual premier event that takes place in the Nashville, TN area. If you want to witness high level electric football action at its best, this is the place to see it. March 4-6, 2022, Towne Place Suites 120 Fair Brooks Place Clarksville, TN 37043
  6. Here are some pics of original Tudor teams in the collections of the Museum. These are all part of a collection that was purchased 2 years ago.
  7. Thanks for this post and the pics. Some very interesting observations!!
  8. A couple more custom painted "Replica" teams. Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings
  9. I have never tweaked any. Definitely just as good and have always heard that they were better. Don't really know why? They are rare and hard to find just by the fact that they were only produced for the one year by Playtime.
  10. I have tried several times. Lynn "Weirdwolf" Schmidt no longer owns the MFCA brand or website. Elgin Clemens owns it all now. Supposedly everything was so corruprt their was nothing to save. Basically the MFCA exists in name only now with no real leadership but still has the largest following of any of the Facebook electric football groups with over 2500 followers. I was on the Board of Directors of the MFCA for 5 years until it became more about the TOC tournaments rather than the game and hobby as a whole. The MFCA as an effective organization no longer exists.
  11. I set up using the current NFL Rules for Free Kicks. I use my kicking cards for performing the kickoff and placement of the ball, something I created in 2002 for using in my then XFL Solitaire League. It works for me in providing the most realistic kicking and return results. Here is an article featuring these cards: Innovations of the Game – The National Electric Football Game Museum (nefgm.org)
  12. The links you have don't work because the websites are no longer active. miniaturefootball.org is the old MFCA website. Electric Football Forum is the old Tudor Games Forum that was discontinued, i think.
  13. The book Full Color Electric Football is the reference book I use for most of my reproduction painting. On my website are several picture references to old teams. LG's Electric Football is probably the one that has the most of players from different eras. Here is a link: LG’s Electric Football – The National Electric Football Game Museum (nefgm.org)
  14. Yeah. Very sad. A great soliataire player and probably the one person who the Solitaire Coaches Points Challenge was created for.
  15. Received this highly detailed and customized figure from Emanuel Hall to add to the Museum's Art Gallery.
  16. Playtime figures that came with the 1991 ABC's Electronic Monday Night Football Game set. Tudor's "Fab 5" are pictured on the box. But the actual figures were like what you have. This is also where the much sought after "brown" bases come from. as all the plastic pieces were molded in brown. I bought several teams of them once and painted them in 1920's uniforms.
  17. For league and tournament play, it is probably best to just stay with any touch. Less doubt and arguments about when a player is tackled. Works best in solitaire because you as the referee are the one making the call
