  1. No. I wouldn't even try. About the only way I know of to attempt it is to heat with a blow dryer and possibly try to bend back, but then you run the risk of damaging the paint and / or breaking the figure. It is a fairly common thing. I have seen many of them.
  2. Check out the latest blog on the website. https://nefgm.org/2023/05/04/the-grasamke-collection/
  3. Awesome!! Thanks for posting. Have thought about doing it several times, just haven't got to it yet.
  4. Here is Tudor's Official Passing Sticks Rules: Passing Sticks Set (tudorgames.com)
  5. NFL Shield is oriented away from the side of the field that has the speed control and timer graphics. Normally it is oriented towards that side of the field. The side and end rails are the model 645 graphics used in 1973, '74 and '75. The field with out the NFL Shield is a 1972 field commonly used in the 620 NFC game boards.
  6. Going through some game boards and noticed something different about these mid '70's Tudor model 645's. Can you tell me what is abnormal about them?
  7. Fortunately, I was able to meet and talk with George in person several times over the years at various EF events. His products, especially figures and bases, made a major impact on the hobby and are still highly sought after today. I recently saw some of his numbers go for a very high price on eBay. I use his DDB's (Diamond Directional Bases)on several of my teams.
  8. Here's an interesting article I found on the Internet, today. Electric Football: Tabletop Touchdowns (liveauctioneers.com)
  9. Unfortunately, Facebook has become a necessary evil for me in order to keep up with everything that is going on in Electric Football. FB has its pro and cons. I maintain a FB Page for the Museum and administer 3 FB Group Pages in connection with that. "The Electric Football Community", "The National Electric Football Game Museum" public group pages and "The National and International United Brotherhood of Electric Football" private group page. I am also a moderator of the "Music City EFL" private group page. Definitely keeps me busy. I also follow about 20-25 other EF related FB groups as well as several vintage toy groups which EF discussions show up on occasionally. Honestly, you ain't missing anything. I find this forum more informative and engaging than any of those groups.
  10. Maybe but here is how they are depicted on Gridiron Uniform Database. I just use Tudor stick on numbers for my solitaire teams.
  11. Yeah, I thought about that also. Memphis Redbirds, Chattanooga, Lookouts, and Tennessee Smokies are other possible minor league baseball crossovers.
  12. Times have changed. Not neccesarily due to Covid. Facebook is where you will find most current info on anything to do with the game and hobby. 2018 was the last MFCA HOF Inductees. The MFCA was turned over to Elgin Clemins in 2018. It is an organization in name only though. No longer an organization that has any influnce or benefits to being a member. It does have the most followers of any EF facebook group but that doesn' t really mean a whole lot. The TOC and MFBCS are the two main organizations for competitve play. But it is basically the same people that compete and rules are basically the same. Websites just aren't the best venues for league or tournament information any more. FB seems to be every one's way to communicate now.
  13. in case anybody interested, Munich Moon Sharks and London Union Jacks are still available from Tudor. the Irish Babes (basically Notre Dame) are gone. I believe it was Glenn Hardaway (Moon Sharks) and Al Dunham (Union Jacks) that won the contest.
  14. They were made by Jimbo Dunagun. Not sure he still makes them any more. Mostly used on defense for safeties. Popular in the TOC competitions.
  15. Ron Mango's Custom Stadium build. From his Facebook Page. Ron was one of the Featured Artist and quest speakers during the "Art of the Buzz" Exhibit. Ron Mango Stadium Build Blue Prints.pdf
  16. Cut out the prongs or glue a magnet underneath. You can also just place a magnet on the field and place the player over it or place the player on a felt pad. Freeze frames are also an alternative.
  17. I do, but a very limited supply. I have no plans to actually use them, but then again they are "artifacts" of the museum. I'll have to think about it. Below are some pics of the 1991 Playtime Games that I have. One set is complete and one set is incomplete. Of the 10 bases in the last picture, I would want to keep at least two. So, I possibly could be persuaded to let 8 of them go. I certainly am aware of the rarity and value of these bases. Send me a private message and we can discuss a trade or donation.
  18. LOL!! Yeah must be. I haven't played any solitaire in a while, and I needed to expand my league. Will probably expand to 12 teams eventually, adding 2 teams each season until I get there. 12 is about the maximum for this league. I paint teams all the time, usually to resell to raise money for the museum. I just completed a 26-team project of 1960's NFL and AFL teams. So, it was time to do some painting for myself.
  19. I have 3 Nashville Kats teams. The 1998 D uniform and the 2005 D and W uniforms. Miggle China figures but no plans to add them to this league any time soon mainly because all the figures i currently use are Haiti Repros. Just plain white numbers. I mostly keep things as simple as possible.
  20. My philosophy: "One can never have too many bases"
  21. That's just freakin' awesome!!
  22. Getting ready to start Season 2 of the Tennessee Professional Electric Football League with 2 new expansion teams. The 2001 XFL Memphis Maniax and 1995 CFL Memphis Mad Dogs. Also check out the Inaugural Season Official League Record Book TnPEFL Official Record.pdf
