I don't know what the true total value of my collection is, I know that if I were asked to put a value on it, it would probably be much more than $20,000. However, I have seen pics of other people's collections that have way more stuff than I do. The greatest value of anybody's collection is in the teams and figures. I have often bought game sets for nothing more than the teams and bases. I personally have always been more interested in the game boards, so my collection of original factory teams is very limited.
Today's market though is much larger than it was when I started collecting over 25 years ago. The market demand for original vintage electric football games is getting much smaller. Today the market demand is more for custom painted teams, custom built game boards and field covers.

Patriots did play the 49ers in week 7 of the 1971 season, in San Francisco. It may also simply be that Tudor had an inventory overstock of those teams.

I'd buy it, if nothing else for the Teams and Bases. The problem with a lot of these boards were the motors not being mounted properly (loosely riveted to the board) or the speed adjusting screw not the right size (coarse thread instead of fine thread) It is the generic model. One of the few I don't have in my collection.

I would apply the cover first then cut out the hole. Be sure to download the vinyl field cover install instructions and watch the install video on Tudor's website. This will work with any vinyl field cover whether you get from Tudor or not. If it is a magnetic cover, same thing, lay down the field cover first then find the hole and cut it out.
Basically, field covers are designed to use on custom game boards and newer model Tudor Games produced after 2012.

Keeping and archiving the history and records of solitaire leagues is one of the goals of the National ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Game Museum. I would be interested in getting this list and any other information that you would like to have saved in our files. It is possible that I could create some fantasy teams using these names. For whatever reason I cannot see your videos. I get a "codec" error, but I understand the technique that you are using. I have tried to develop plays that do the same thing. Mostly though with the QB or another RB angled to hit the ball carrier and purposefully turn him to run in another direction.

The bigger size is largely a result of adding more detail to figures and making them easier to 3D print. There is a standard size guideline for figures and bases as established by the current 2023 - 2024 TOC Rules.
3.0.1 Regular figures
Figures from any manufacturer or customizations of figures are allowed if they meet the following technical specifications:
a. Height: Figures shall not exceed 39mm in height as measured from the top of the head to the bottom of the
platform.
b. Width: Figures shall not exceed 36mm as measured fingertip to fingertip.
c. Platform length: the platform of a figure shall not exceed 25mm in length.
d. Platform width: the platform of a figure shall not exceed 16mm in width.
e. Extension over platform: no portion of a figure may extend beyond 8mm from the front, left side, right side, or
back of the platform.
f. All figures must be proportional to human scale with a head, torso, 2 arms, and 2 legs.
g. At least one foot must be permanently affixed to the platform.
h. Pins may be used to stabilize a figure on a platform provided that they do not interfere with play.This is the original Figure and Base Standard as established by the MFCA TOC in 2014 - 2015:

Figure size and weight allowed for competition has been an ongoing issue and debate since I can remember from getting back into the hobby in 1997. There is always someone that is going to challenge the limits of what may or may not be allowed.
Early in my tenure as a Member of the MFCA Board of Directors (2006 - 2011), I proposed establishing industry standards for size and weight of figures and bases to give manufacturers a guideline to go by in developing products for electric football. I was severely criticized for even making such a suggestion. As a result, there is no "Official" standard.
It ultimately comes down to whatever the consumer wants and demands anyway as to what is acceptable, Basically, Tudor is still the industry leader in manufacturing and producing affordable and sustainable products for electric football, otherwise they would not have outlasted every other company that tried to compete with them for the last 75 years.

Yeah, exactly. Obviously, injury risk is not a concern in electric football. Part of the reason that the NFL voted to make the change was its recognition that the previous rules had taken away a very exciting part of the game. Kickoff returns in 2023 were at their lowest level ever in the history of the NFL.
Since the goal of most people who play electric football is to mimic the NFL, then yes, "officially", electric football rules should include the changes.
But, again, it is really just a matter of personal choice, and you should do whatever makes the game fun and exciting for you to play.

Yeah, it's possible. Whatever it takes to sell something sometimes. Yes, I can always tell if a base has been tweaked. It was obvious that the ITZ bases I received from the LIEFL were not tweaked. There are very few bases that perform well right out of the bag without any kind of tweaking, which has always been a major drawback to the growth of the hobby and what evokes bad memories of the game for a lot of people.

Sounds much like a variation of the Buzzball ATTAC passing method which is basically placing at target at the end if the sticks and using a TTQB to hit the target first then proceeding to have the receiver and defenders run towards the ball.
This was used in the National High-Voltage Football League in the mid 2000's.
