That ITZ formula 37 plastic is so soft you may not need a hot plate or coffee warmer. ♨️ A cigarette lighter may be the cheapest way to heat the pliers. You may already have a blow drier in your bathroom and that will certainly be hot enough. My hot water heater is set for 120 degrees or you could boil water on the stove. Heat causes the molecular structure of the prong to easily change from the original shape of the mold to the new shape of the pliers. In theory heat allows the long side of the curve to stretch and the short side of the curve to compress and then the new molecular structure 🌙 will be what the plastic remembers. I agree completely. Especially the pre-tweaked bases. My memories are just the opposite. I remember, "He touched the back." "No he didn't." "Yes he did." "No he didn't." etc. for the next hour. The same goes for the plastic catapult. "The ball hit his base." "No it didn't." Yes it did." "No it didn't." for the next hour. Remember your friend who got so mad he flipped over the field? That said, if we want to funnel these 8 year-olds into the existing hobby then follow SOP. I was playing Monopoly, Battleship, and Clue when I was 8. I don't think Milton-Bradley created a special version for 8-year-olds did they? Folding in aspects of Roll Play Games is another way to get an 8 year-old's interest. While Baja Blast #43 is a Juggernaut — Halfback #31 is calm and strong. In the second Touchdown run #43 gets to the End Zone 15 yards ahead of #31 but #31 pushes the whole pile in the direction he wants to go. Defenders whacking the back of his base, or hitting #31 broadside, simply won't stop #31. The Defense has to gang tackle this locomotive. Baja Blast HB #31.mp4 I love watching these players mature. From Game 1 to Game 3 some little plastic peeps dramatically change curve, or strength, or speed. There are two games I call 'Limbo' in the Draft Tournament. I chose the word Limbo because the teams have one-win and one-loss. Are they Winners or are they Losers? The teams are in Limbo because their identity is uncertain. The first Limbo game featured the Baja Blast and the Diamond Dawgs. The Baja Blast won the game and punched their ticket into the Final Four. The Welsh Dragons and the Angels of Avalon are already in the Final Four. The Best Players of the Diamond Dawgs will be absorbed into the Baja Blast team. The second Limbo game features the Meteor Storm and the two-headed rushing attack of the Pink Panthers. I don't know. I haven't tried them. I have smooth pliers from Ace Hardware — that aren't curved — and those pliers were about the same price. So I think the price is reasonable. Try them and let me know your experience. 😃👍 I'm curious if you discover the curve makes a prolonged difference in speed, or strength (do the prongs stay tweaked after they've been heated and squeezed with curved pliers).. Now, if you think Pink Panthers #49 is scary, just imagine two 300+ running backs in the Pink Panther backfield. Because the Metallians lost — all of the Metallians best players will join the Pink Panthers team. At the top of the Best Metallians Players list is HB #15. This little plastic peep rushed for 324 yards on 9 carries, 151 yards receiving, and 5 touchdowns. Metallians HB #15.mp4 I can hardly wait for this Two-headed Panther to play the blistering Meteor. Wow! I'm exhausted. What an offensive shootout. The Pink Panthers won the game and will absorb the best players of the Metallians. Up next The Baja Blast will attempt to curtail that offense of the Diamond Dawgs. Should be another shootout. Pink Panthers Half Back #49 ran effectively from every formation: Power Sweep, Power I, Single Back, Upback, and Pro Set. He finished the game with 375 yards on 22 carries. The big event at Tudorcon seems to be the opportunity to compete against other coaches — which is a non-starter for me a solitaire player. From what I've read on the Forum many coaches have come up with truly inspired ways to keep their solitaire games competitive. Letting the dice decide the play, or the formation, for example. The one thing that Tudor has that keeps me coming back is the Forum. Yet, the Forum seems to be the last thing on Tudor's mind. There's an expression, "A picture is worth a thousand words."
