Well , here I am, the weird poor relation. Y’all know me, I do Uni-Forms and have loved them from the start. I have absolutely zero aptitude at painting. Zero. I gladly buy custom paints when I can with the PAC12 figures. I admire the posts where the talented guys show their teams off. This hobby has a niche for just about everyone. Lord knows if Tudor goes away tomorrow, I have enough for the rest of my days, but where’s the fun in that? Life’s good. Journey On!

Cowboys V Chargers in Uni-Forms. Had a motor vs controller issue. Still not sure it’s 100% resolved, but I got new parts on the way and should be in tune soon. This issue is pushing me towards the mini ultimate board. We’ll see how it shakes out. I’ll have to investigate what size field cover for the old Miggle Super Bowl boards. Anyone want to save me the math? Anyhow. Here we are!

Well, the new year is here. 2024. When I made that post a year ago, I had no idea the changes ahead. So much has changed, in Uni-Forms especially. Nothing new was put forth this year and restocks of already created Uni-Forms seemed in doubt at times. Finally we are seeing existing Uni-Forms restocked. After seeing the Ravens yesterday in the black jersey purple pants unis, I ordered the all black Uni-Forms to mix with the all purple ones to recreate this uniform combination. I still love the product and will put teams together this way this year, but the 16 team super drop of a little over a year ago is a thing of the past, I’m afraid. That being said, I am excited for the hobby. The most exciting products put out this last year were the mini ultimate boards and the custom painted teams. The latter so popular, they’ve had to halt the ordering and place a moratorium on the number of teams one person can order at a time! So in 2024, I’ll continue to put together Uni-Forms and occasionally order a custom painted team when I can. Mr. Nutt is like Willie Wonka. There’s no telling where he’s going to lead us. We have the golden tickets and he the Oompa Loompas. One thing for sure, it won’t be boring! Journey On!

Coach BlueHen, That sound intriguing! I look forward to pictures and or videos, ( I was a horrible AV guy in the days, so I just go with the occasional pictorial 😁), and posts about your progress! Not to pile on another Coach out there but EFH has a negative streak I just can’t abide. I am on the forum and in electric football in general to take myself away from the problems and negativity out there, so I stay away from politics, religion, and breeds of dogs. If I was one to want to hear someone rail about what a sycophant I am, and how I will accept anything with the name Tudor on it, I would be a miserable coach, indeed. Now, about HOF players, I have a few show up on some teams and I know when another team plays against that players team, I’m in for something special! You just gotta know where those players reside. Coach T43 is usually a bit more succinct and in depth with his analysis and I trust his commentary. Have fun! Journey On!

I don’t mind new color schemes. But nostalgia is strong! Journey On!

The Lions carried a 13-0 lead in at halftime. In the second half the Raiders defense took over with 2 interceptions, one for a pick six! Add another touchdown and close to the end of the game, it was 22-14 Lions. The Raiders recovered an onside kick and marched for another score, but failed on the 2 point attempt. 22-20. Another onside kick was recovered by the Silver and Black and they elected to try for a 58 yard field goal, but came up short on the last play of the game. The Lions advance. Their special teams definitely need some coaching up! Journey On!

The Dolphins need to go back to the uniforms and logo they are sporting against the Cowboys today. It’s ten times better than the newer one. Says I. Journey On!

The video is amazing! Dude’s an artist for sure! Makes me proud to own my Packers team he did. (That being said, my Giants team, done by another artist, is pretty phenomenal too.) I’m waiting with baited breath for the painters to catch up and the custom paints to become available again. Delayed gratification is always a lot more fun. That’s what made those catalogs from Tudor with the color middle portion back in the seventies so much fun. This is turning out to be a great Christmas! Journey On!

The former Tudor group was excellent at customer service. The new group have lost nothing in this department! Their response to my concerns and inquiries has been faster than prompt. Here are the Detroit Lions V the Oakland Raiders for game three. The Lions were one of my earlier Uni-Forms teams to outfit, so they might look a little less refined, but I love them just the same. Over two years ago, when I started doing Uni Forms, I did things so differently than I do now, but I enjoy them just as much! More, even. Let’s kick this one off! Journey On!

So what about laying a magnetic field cover over a vinyl one? Journey On

Coach T43, in the days of being able to produce almost anything on command, I don’t know why you couldn’t get your wish fulfilled. And when you do, I gotta see that field! Coach TY62, I haven’t heard how well the magnetic game boards work or how easy placement is. I do know my vinyl Saints field cover was easy to install and has been a joy to play on. I do find myself wanting another cover, but I’ll have to put that on the back burner. I’m satisfied with what I have. I adjusted each to loop right or left and will employ them on whichever side I need a directional block. It’s lazy. I’m still going to order blue dial bases to replace them eventually, but for now this’ll do pig. This’ll do. Journey On!
