  1. Yeah. Got 2 boxes for my birthday and they got left in a hot car south of the Mason Dixon Line and they still good. Did a list of pros and cons for Uni-Forms. Pros far outweighed the cons!
  2. I’ve completed 6 teams and I’m just glad the cuts have gotten better. My first team to do, the home Lions, were like learning to type on blind, manual keys. I didn’t know it was a poor cut job until I read on the forum what the deal was. Still, for a first time, they turned out pretty good. Now I’m doing the throwback Cardinals and the cuts are amazing and it’s just a lot of fun! Not to mention getting the right tools to make the job easier. I’m still wanting to complete teams that were just pre-Seahawks/Bucs expansion. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy with the product. Die cut numbers sound good.
  3. We have a drop!!!
  4. Nothing better!! Want those away Jets, Bears, and Colts!
  5. Definitely out of my price range. I hope these are reproduced in UniForms! Somewhere out there, in a nondescript attic, there are these teams, just sitting there, in the original bags. My dream find!
  6. That is excellent! Hadn’t considered it, because I’m having too much fun with the stock material. Applying Uni-Forms is my down time relaxation event. I have enough to keep me busy for a minute…. Until they have another release.
  7. I’m still in! I look daily for new content. What I want is mostly from the 70’s.
  8. I figure the Commanders will drop very close to the season, although that’s only a gut feeling. I mean, it’s not like they haven’t cemented the unis down…. Or contemplating going back to the old logo. How cool would it be for the WFT to come out on opening day in Redskins uniforms a la the Mean Machine in The Longest Yard?!? (70’s version). D.C. would float off the map!
  9. I have finished teams for the Lions, Bengals, 70s Falcons, and 69 Eagles (A). I just started the 84 Giants with a #89 Mark Bavaro, and, despite not being exceptionally crafty, it looks magnificent! Love these Uni-Forms!!
  10. Not to be greedy, but any idea when the next drop will occur?
  11. I am two players away from completing my away Bengals, and while not perfect, they look absolutely fantastic! Hats off to the guys at Tudor! This Uni-Forms product is tops!
  12. Just a few things I’ve noticed about the Uni-forms, now that I’m on my second team, is how forgiving the skins are if you make a mistake. Provided you don’t let the skins fold back on itself,(in which case you’re messed up), things usually turn out well. So I’ve learned to relax. Secondly, those popsicle sticks and toothpicks really are handy! (To my surprise). The advanced tools are great, but sometimes, I can only get a contour smoothed out by using those little wooden sticks! Go figure. How are the rest of you faring out there?
  13. Gale Sayers era Bears. ie the 70’s. The NFL’s best era!
  14. I put my first set of Uni-Forms in a bubble case. My Lions home team is my first attempt at dressing out a team, and, while not perfect, they’re not bad at all! Now, the only problem I have is which team is up next. All my problems should be as fun!
  15. So, I was right about what the bubble cases are. They are good for the price point. What would be cool, and I suppose you could do this yourself, would be different backing cards to change up the background. The possibilities are infinite!
  16. I’m torn between the 73 Bengals and the 75 Cardinals on my next order. Anyone dressed out the Bengals and can weigh in on how well the word mark on the helmet applies? I’m still feeling my way in being competent and don’t want a skill 5 project when I’m probably at a 3.
  17. Well, from what I can tell, they are like the clamshells the teams used to come in, with a twist.
  18. Awesome work, man! I just spent too much time looking at these teams.
  19. I had said I hoped to see the Super Bowl III Jets and early seventies all white Colts. Black helmeted Saints? I know what everyone wants to see but no one will feign to bring up, are the throwback Washington Football Team/ Commander Uni-forms with a certain nod to our Native American friends. I mean, c’mon, it’s as big a part of NFL history as any other team in the league and a lot of us want to see it!
  20. Do NOT release the USFL teams! I don’t want to have to get a second job! (But if you do, I will!)
  21. Looking forward to getting my new bubble cases! I have some of the old hard cases released years ago. These are a curiosity right now. Are they functional? Who knows. I just like having some of the products from each era.
  22. Ok. Here goes. I’m 6 players in to my Lions home team, and I’m pretty sure I got a batch that wasn’t die cut well. Nevertheless, I’m learning how to apply the Uni-forms, and save some frustration with my clumsiness and finally amassing the modeling tools I need, I set up what I have “dressed out “, and I am not dissatisfied! I’m actually having a great time! I’m listening to NFL films music and just enjoying getting better at this. Next up, my Classic Patriots. Thanks for the tips. They were very helpful!
  23. Does anyone any ideas how to get the smaller numbers off of the Uni-forms decal sheets? This is giving me a lot of trouble and frustration. Any ideas would be appreciated!
  24. Super Bowl III Jets. All white Colts.
