  1. The AEFL Tournament Championship Game is set. The Ohio Comets vs the Arizona Flames. Both teams are 3-1 and the Comets come in as 3 point favorites. Here are both teams warming up under the lights at the neutral site of this Championship tilt in Tallahassee Fla (Florida Whales stadium).
  2. Have you tried using excel? The free version is google spreadsheets.
  3. AEFL Tournament, Eastern Conference Championship Game. Comets vs Bucks. Winner plays the Arizona Flames in the league championship in a couple weeks. Heads up that my camera glitches on one play..sorry!
  4. Correct, it is the scale size, I finished it late last year. Now working on the stadium facade(partially built in the background) and the lights!

Quick note on the photo of the helmets, the Ohio Comets face mask, stripe and lighter color around the emblem is white not grey…..it’s just a bad photo.
  6. Hey solitaire players, I have an 8 team solitaire league, 4 teams in an Eastern Conference and 4 in a Western Conference and I’m just about ready to go with a regular season. Prior to that I am running a tournament that consists of each team playing the other 3 teams in their conference once and then pairing the top two seeds in each conference in a conference championship game with a league championship game to follow. I am running the tourney to test out my solitaire rules prior to the regular season and to identify the talent on all the bases in real competition. At the conclusion of the tournament I will remove all the bases, name them and run a draft lottery for the 8 teams. Then the plan is to play a regular season (10 games for each team)Below is where I am at in the tournament and I will have full game film of the western conference championship game that I will place in the video/ highlight forum for those interested!
  7. Hi zak, thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! Good eye on that third play that was something the refs (me)definitely missed😂. Since this video (back in Dec)I have changed some things and I hope to release another video soon that goes over the solitaire rules I use.
  8. Hey all, here is an exhibition game between two teams from my American Electric Football League. I actually shared this vid in the solitaire section also but thought it was more appropriate here. It’s my first try at filming so I hope it’s watchable!
  9. I’m going to jump in here with a link to a video I made in December, not too shabby for a first time effort. Not sure yet whether or not to make my channel public, but I will be making more videos in the future.
  10. I love this question/topic. I played electric football back in the 70’s and when I got older I started playing Madden, played most versions through 2015. I’ve gotten a little burnt out by the same routine, buy game put it on all madden and learn to beat it. Once you learn the trick in each version it’s pretty much a boring unbeaten season through the SB, I think I put it down after winning 40 straight…lol. Electric football is special…I love the idea of coming up with my own teams/league in electric football, building base talent and playing solitaire as a neutral observer to see who’s talent wins out. That is the allure that brought me back in.
  11. I love this tackling idea, do you use it for recievers too? they are so hard to catch in the open field on a monster board that I usually go with front of base to consider them down.
  12. That is another great tip Mccaber, I do something similar with those tiny bendable plastic brushes they sell in the modeling section of some hobby stores. I took off the tiny brush part and whittled the plastic end to a sharp point with an xacto
  13. Hey Pats…when you are playing solitaire, play the game how it is most enjoyable to you. I personally take things I like from different rule sets and incorporate them with my own ideas and build something that suits me.
  14. I love your painting advice, point 6 is one that hits home to me. I would add some advice to painters to take advantage of different tools like ultra fine paint pens and permanent markers, they can really help with details.
  15. Hey guys getting back into the hobby here and considering buying the large size plastic HIPS field. I have a stupid question Involving the passing stick method. I understand this is an easy passing method to use with the metal field because of magnetic ball markers in front of the player after the pass is measured. Is there a different type of ball marker to use on the plastic field?
