Good Question.

When you look at it, it does appear that 22 is leaning into his tackle, which in real football, if it were intentional to jump into that tackle so to speak then a ruling of illegal tackle makes sense.

However, they are stiff plastic figures whose "pose" does not change so, as I play "any touch" tackle I say it is a good clean hit. The boy is down in my book. Apologies to anyone whose feather's that ruffles. Just my one opinion. Blessings to all. 🙂

I agree with the “pose” argument. Your little plastic peep is playing with what he was blessed with. Purely legal!

Good observation. On the previous play I forgot to take the ball out from under #32's arm.

In my solitaire league it would be a legal tackle (all touches are tackles), since my teams play hard-nosed (no pun intended) football!  😁
