New RSFL Field

Just got a "new" 620 for the collection I mean league. Rams vs Cowboys, rookie bases so 1970-ish. Teams are Hong Kong, but not complete with a couple injured guys as well (which doesn't bother me). The field is in very nice shape. Little bit of a crown, as expected, but less than I've seen.

Ok, so I was checking out the Cowboys. There's 11 players, but instead of the normal configuration there's only one "all-purpose" (what I use as OTs) and three "sprinters."  But the paint jobs all match, so it's not a mix I don't think. The pants are more of a blue/silver, different from another old Cowboys team I have. And there's just a blob of blue on the helmet for the star. On the other Dallas team it's a plus sign. Lastly, they have black shoes and no "Hong Kong" under the platform, but the old team bags say "bag and players made in Hong Kong."

I need to glue an arm on one Rams "backer" (TE/QB for me) figure, and glue the ankles for another backer and a center/guard on Dallas. Three other players are just missing hands.

Rams team is missing the second backer.

The 620 with the alternating greens on the playing field is the 1970 National Conference Game came with Cowboys and Rams just like what you have. Yellow end zones is American Conference. Player configurations were sometimes altered depending on what figures were available. Cowboys' uniforms have several variations in pant and helmet colors and the logo. They are hog leg. Molds had to be replaced after so many production runs. so yes, you won't always find Hong Kong on them.  Good luck trying to reglue arms and legs.  Usually doesn't work out to good. I just put all my broken players into a separate pile for other "artist" display projects or keep for reference purposes.

Yes, I have the 610 AFC board as well.

I know gluing the arms and legs is tricky at best.  I've been contemplating using a fine drill bit and some wire to help with the reattachment process.

Yes, that is probably the best way, takes some skill though. I would be interested in knowing how that turns out. I do have a bunch of TTQB's I need to try that on.
