How to make dangling football target for use with passing sticks?

Somewhere online I've seen a cool DIY gizmo that dangles a little football in the air over the field. Any links? How to make?

It is called the "Ball on a string". Don't know of any links on how to make. It is just a ball hung by fishing line or thread from a crossbar that hangs the ball at approximately 3/4" from the surface of the playing field. The crossbar has magnets attached to the posts.
