2019 L.S U. Tigers vs 2001 Miami Hurricanes Electric Football Game

I am planning on doing a "what if?" match-up in Electric Football between two of the greatest cfb teams ever assembled, 2019 LSU and 2001 Miami. I usually just do NFL for Electric Football but I decided to do a one time college match-up and I always wondered which of these two teams was better. This is going to be a just for fun game and I will stream it live on my YouTube channel. Since it is a just for fun game, it will not have all of the time limits to set up players, make pivots, motions, and adjustments, and it will have some rule changes, but it will still be a very interesting and fun game. It will be on a running clock, 15 minutes each quarter, and the clock doesn't stop unless it is a 2 minute warnings or a timeout is called ( Each team gets 3 timeouts) I will be controlling both teams and I will keep score and make pivots, motions, and adjustments, as well as use the TTQB. Punts, field goals, and extra points will be different as for punts I will leave the players how they were from the previous play and punt the football with the TTQB from the spot of ball and wherever the ball lands that is where the return team gets to return from and I will place the punt returner where the ball landed. The punting team will get to make pivots and adjustments. For kicking extra points and field goals, I will leave everything how it was from the previous play and kick the field goal from the spot of the ball. There will be no set time to do anything, since it is a just for fun game, and I will take my time, but I will still try my best to go as fast as I can and keep the game running smoothly. I am making a team of 2019 L.S.U. Tigers and 2001 Miami Hurricanes with there actual rosters and starting lineups and each player will have a base. I am not sure when the game will happen but it should be coming soon and I will do it as soon as the teams are ready. Let me know your score predictions for the game. LSU or the U? Who ya got? It should be a pretty good game. Here us the link to my YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCTzsBq2jtuKCXVZk_uXGY_w

Also, the game won't be for a while, as I just ordered the figures and everything so I will need to wait to get the stuff and I need to tweak the bases, paint, customize, and detail the figures, so the game will probably be some time in February or in a couple of weeks. Let me know your score predictions and thank you for your patience. This should be an exciting match-up.

Depending on the ruleset, I have Miami 24, LSU 14. I believe this was the season Miami had an absolute beast of a Defense, whereas LSU had a "the best Defense is a Great Offense" type team in '19. I wasn't a huge college sports follower around those times though so I could be backwards. 🤔

Great prediction! 👍  I think if Miami's defense with Ed Reed and Jonathan Vilma can get some turnovers and key stops I think they can win but if they can't keep up with LSUs 2019 offense if it gets a little high scoring, I see 2019 LSU taking the victory. Miami's offense Lee by Ken Dorse and Andre Johnson should be able to put up points, and LSUs 2019 defense wasn't very good but I think that LSU can maybe get a turnover with a guy like safety Grant Delpit or cornerback Derek Stingley, Jr.

This should be a close game but anything can happen.

That's kind of my theory as well, if Miami's Defense doesn't break their foot off in the Offense early then it's probably going to be more like LSU 35+ and Miami 21. I don't particularly remember Miami being a comeback team, Dorsey was definitely a game manager type QB hence why he was a pretty good QBs coach in the NFL (maybe he still is).

Like I said before, it all depends on the way the passing game (and passing game ruleset for that matter) goes. If it favors the run game and the secondary, it's going to be a tight Miami victory. If it favors passing, roll on Tigers. 👍

I wasn't able to catch the entire game, but I did watch it sporadically as I was cooking and eating dinner and it looked like Miami held true to the keys we discussed earlier: they slowed down LSU and didn't let them get a huge insurmountable lead early, and LSU just didn't have as good of a defense. Eerily similar to what I imagine would actually happen. Good game coach!
