On the ensuing pass play Norsemen #8 caught the pass at the line of scrimmage and then tippy-toed down the sideline into the End Zone.
Great story. I love when EF players do this…looks like they are going out of bounds but somehow just keep sliding down field !!

If I'm reading this correctly, in the last picture, player #82 turns to the left. If he is approaching the ball marker from twelve o'clock then he needs to be pivoted about 5 degrees. If approaching from 1:30 then he doesn't need to be pivoted at all. Approaching from 3 o'clock he needs about a 5 degree pivot.
Yes you are correct. Although not sure what degrees the angles come out to .

#82 Dante Hall is my fastest and best receiver. Gronkowski is #87 and he is a star as well. He is strong and fast. I trust him with blocking and receiving.
#33 and #10 Were performing unreliably at the time I made the card so I put a pause on coding them. Haven’t got back to them yet.
The receivers and RB’s are listed in order of speed (even though I do have a spd column on the sheet).

In competition I wear a QB play calling wrist band, but mine shows all the path codes for my players.
My younger opponents laugh but, hey, my memory is terrible. They remember how all their guys move plus they remember mine as well.

I like the diagrams on the wall. You've spent some time thinking about your players. 🤔
My receivers, RBs, Safeties, LB’s and Cornerbacks have their run paths “coded” according to the diagram. I use the White Stick w/Pressure distance as my base.
I find the vast majority will be coded either LFL or RFR for White Stick w/ pressure distance.
My competition team has all of those codes but they are coded for each direction of approach and each stick distance as well. So they have a code for approaching the ball marker from the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. Yes the players paths often change depending upon the direction they are going.

Looks like a sure INT if offense 81 doesn't block 23. Did that figure into your pass placement?
Yes. I can’t turn offense, other than the receiver, so I just hoped he would make the block.

Aliens gained 14 yards on this play.
I had made a nice video of this play showing my step by step process for determining the play and set up. But it was too large so I just did it in bits with out the step by step.

3rd Qtr the Moonsharks lead 14 to 7.
The aliens need this first down. The primary receiver is the slot receiver at the bottom of the screen.

The Moonsharks score again on a long run.

Even though I limit my solitaire league size I often play one off games with my non-affiliated teams.
I still have teams I plan to make and this is my short list:
1. My HS team
2. SB 57 Chiefs
3: iowa blades (pro fantasy team)
4. Dayton triangles (modernized)
5. Rock Island Independents (modernized)
6. SB 3 Jets

I thought I had some minimalist painted uniforms, but I tip my hat to the Aliens. 👽 Is that Dayglow green acrylic?
Yes. Years ago My son, at a young age, created and painted the Aliens as a gift for me.
I have thought about upping their appearance but then I always decide to keep the gift as is.- 3

Also, Steve Largent returned the following kickoff for a score. Did Largent ever return kickoffs?
Pro football reference site lists Largent having 8 returns for a total of 68 yds.

SSEFL Aliens vs Moonsharks.
After the quick Alien score the Moonsharks struggled but broke a long run down to the Alien 13 yard line. They then tried another run and lost 8 yards.
The next play, Dropping into shotgun, the Moonsharks QB decides the primary receiver is covered and instead throws to a secondary receiver. It measures as a white stick but there is pressure and since he is passing to a secondary receiver it gets bumped up to a blue stick with pressure.
Had I aimed the Alien safety better he would have got the interception.- 3

Really enjoyed watching the Long Bomb! Are the Aliens playing the Moonsharks?
Yes. The Moonsharks are one of the better SSEFL teams.

Yes! Very well done displays.
I bet this will be one of the most popular displays they have ever had.

The Aliens have been perennial basement dwellers in the SSEFL.
This year they are hoping that all those extra draft bases will payoff.First play was a run off tackle for 5 yds. Play two was a pass and here is the video.

I wonder if anyone ever collected every college team Miggle came out with all those years ago?
I got several but converted them to fantasy pro teams.

what teams do you want to have in your college league? Are the players for each team from a specific class, or is each team a dream team from different eras?
My College Teams:
1985 Iowa Hawkeyes (One of the years I attended Iowa and a great year for Iowa football. They went 10-2 in season but, lost in Rose Bowl to UCLA)
2006 Boise State (the team that upset Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl)
2021 Army Black Knights ( I am a veteran of the US Army, 1983-1991, so I a feel connected to Army football.)
2021 Navy Midshipmen (you can’t really have Army and not have Navy as well)
1984 Boston college (Doug Flutie, my favorite QB)
Harvard Crimson (1930’s)
Yale Bulldogs (1930’s)
Princeton Tigers (1930’s)
Rutgers Scarlet Knights (1930’s)
So mostly try to pick teams and years with special meaning to me.

What's with the green "caps" on the bases? Gotham-esque metal for a magnetic ball?
Yes. My brother had the Coleco Pro Stars set. Actually still has it but the field has not held up.

I keep getting or making new teams. But I keep my solitaire league at 10 teams to keep it manageable.
I also run our competition league.
I keep planning on doing a College solitaire league as well as I now have 8 completed teams, with several others are various levels of completion. So I guess most of my current expansion has been to add college level teams.
The last Pro team I bought off the NEFLG website. It was the AFL NY Titans. I finished them off with facemasks, numbers, and names. I plan to use them for another competition team.

I would be up for either the SCPC and maybe a mail league.
I have never done a mail league yet. I suppose it would depend on the scheduling. It sounds fun though. The SCPC had an nice app, if thats the right term. It tracked everything up nicely.

Also, I loved the SCPC . Itwas fun to participate. I believe my entry was my own fantasy NFL team, the Idaho Talons.

Favorite EF moments or Games...?

My favorites;
when I got back into the hobby and setup to play my first official season game in years, the Vikings took the opening kick off 100 yards! What a cool way to start my new league!
Then back in Treasure Bowl IV my opponent was at my 35 yd line, threatening to score on the last play of the first half. I decided to leave his center uncovered so he would move out and open a hole for my MLB to shoot thru and sack the QB. It worked perfectly!!! See the end of the video below.
