  1. I believe you are correct. I use him as a MLB when I am trying for an inside blitz or penetrating through gaps in the OL.
  2. Not long ago Tudor began selling individual figures in unique poses. They were Haiti Repro size. The above picture is the one figure I got. They sold out very fast and I only managed to get the one figure before they were all gone. I would love Tudor to bring them back! The fact that they sold out so fast seemed to indicate a successful product. I know these things aren’t as easy as we customers would like but It would be nice to have them available.
  3. Lol. I used my Triangles against my brother’s Iowa Hawkeyes a couple days ago. Lou showed up again! Partlow intercepted a pass snd took it 40 yds for a TD. He later scored his 2nd TD on a 20 yd run. unfortunately the game ended in a 14-14 tie.
  4. Around 1978 Tudor was selling a divider to place on the line of scrimmage. The idea was to provide space between the teams. I had thought I lost mine but I found my brother actually has had it. I took some pictures because I don’t think many people remember those dividers.
  5. I did not know that Buzzball came up with that approach. Did buzzball also originate stick passing?
  6. I don't name my Little Plastic Peeps, and I'm not sure why Coach Shawn and Coach Collins wouldn't name one of their little Plastic Peeps OJ Simpson, but IF I was inclined to name a Little Plastic Peep I would use OJ Simpson's name. In clarifying, I do believe OJ was one of the greatest Football players to ever play the game. Nor would I begrudge anyone placing OJ’s name on an EF figure.
  7. Yes. My idea was inspired by those QB’s with rocket arms. Bullet passes deep downfield. using my target idea you could end up with a 40 yard red stick pass or even a 5 yard Blue stick pass.
  8. Thumbing thru my EF notebook I came across an old idea I had. it is an alternate way to determine what ball placement stick you will use. Instead of using the distance from QB to Receiver you will have to use your Triple Threat QB to throw the ball at a target. First place target the same distance from the QB that the receiver is. Use QB to throw the ball to strike the target. A bullseye awards a Red stick for ball placement. Striking the next ring awards a White Stick for ball placement. Missing the target means a Blue stick is used. Now using the determined stick, and adding the pressure distance if appropriate, run the play as per usual stick passing rules. The target was to be made with two tubes. A large tube for the White stick outer ring snd s smaller tube inside that to be the Bullseye. Hopefully the tubes would “catch” the ball and make it easier to see the correct hit. I never decided on the size of the tubes. The distance of the QB from the target would be a big factor in what you could hit. I never actually tried this. But it would allow for interesting results.
  9. This was a tough decision. my vote is for Josh Jacobs. Mike Williams is right there but I have to take into account the costly fumble.
  10. I also remember that game. It is a wonderful football memory. Personally I just will never be able to put him on any of my teams.
  11. Yes that is the way I always have done it. But I see how the sponge method would speed things up. My problem is I have a large family and so I don’t have large blocks of free time. So if I did try the sponge method I would likely get interrupted and risk ruining my decals.
  12. Yes those are hard to do. I also have a terrible time seeing the shoulder numbers when it is white printed on white.
  13. A lot of people place their decal sheet on a sponge or something similar to keep the decals wet and ready to slide. My question is if you cannot complete your decals for whatever reason can you remove the decal sheet from the sponge and have it be okay till next time? in other words, will the decals be ruined in that situation?
  14. This is a good one. Will have to start doing this one. On offense I do track caught and missed passes by receiver and the length of the stick, (I use stick passing). So it will be good to track coverage also.
  15. In another post regarding MVP: Quote: “If this is for League MVP shouldn't there be a defensive player or two in contention? Any Ray Lewis or Mean Joe Green or Troy Polamalu players with 15 or more solo tackles? Somebody from that suffocating Colts defense must be having an MVP year.” Enjoy the Journey T43. ⚡🏈♾️” this made me curious as to what stats different coaches record for the defense. here are mine; Tackles, Tackles for loss, total of negative tackle yardage by player, sacks, total of negative sack yardage, Times got Pressure on the QB, Fumbles recovered, Fumbles caused, Interceptions made, Safeties, Defensive TD’s, Blocked FG’s (Team stat) times forced QB to throwaway pass. I believe that is all.
  16. I’m getting serious FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), as my daughter would say! Wish I could be there.
  17. Yes I usually also use the QB or RB but hsve started experimenting with using linemen now. curious that you can’t see the videos. Some videos others post here I also cannot see.
  18. Added looper to defense and moved TE as blocker. Same play. Here the TE fails to clear out the looper and the RB, turned by the lineman, runs into the back of the TE. With no forward movement by the RB the lineman stays in contact snd continued to pivot the RB. The RB turns enough to slip past the TE towards the inside and gains about 7 yards. IMG_3556.MOV
  19. One of the technics I enjoy using in competitive games is the use of one of your players to strike another of your players in a way that pivots the player into a new direction. Here is an example: note that in our competition league the offense gets two pivots prior to the play. The defense gets no pivots. IMG_3553.MOV As you see the RB is originally set up facing the line, this hopefully causes the defense to strengthen the line. When it is time for pivots I pivot the RB to go wide. I then pivot the lineman so while moving he will strike the RB and pivot him downfield.
  20. Oh, not sure. Got this info from Hall Of Fame. https://www.profootballhof.com/news/2020/02/presidents-who-played-football/
