  1. The Unforgettable Buzz posted this Video Tribute to Electric Football inventor Norman Sas who passed away 10 years ago today.
  2. Added this 1971 Munro Vibra-Action "Official Rules and Playing Instructions" to the NEFGM Library, Rules – The National Electric Football Game Museum (nefgm.org) 1971 Munro Vibra Action.pdf
  3. Pizza restuarants, Bowling Alleys that have a party room, Malls.
  4. So the auctions on these 2 teams has ended. The Black Jerseys sold for $150 and the White Jerseys sold for $305. Saw the White Jerseys go from $141.50 to the $305 in the last 5 seconds. The black jerseys remained at $150 for at least the last 12 hrs. Black jerseys typically sell for more than white jerseys but I guess since this team did not have the usual figures with it made them to be condidered less valuable than normal. Was very interesting following these auctions.
  5. One of the most comprehensive historical data documents I have ever seen for an Electric Football League. Thanks to Aaron Campbell for providing this file to the museum to include in our archives. Historical Data.pdf
  6. Model 619 has the Black helmet. Model 618 has the Gold helmet.
  7. Yes, it is a Tudor NFL Electric Football Model 619 game board made in 1969. I have one in my collection of game boards.
  8. Some exciting electric football game play action on YouTube!! The teams are Uni-Forms clad figures and the gameboard looks to be a custom 2' x 4' (Ultimate) size game board. Passing is done with Tudor's passing sticks. Awesome "in-flight" football graphics.
  9. For those of you interested in Vintage Rules, I recently acquired this early Gotham "Rules and Instructions" pamphlet. G-880 All-Star Rules.pdf
  10. In another post, Daryl had a great idea for adding the 1969 Black Hemet Saints.
  11. Yeah, mine too. Yes this would be a great addition to the Uni-forms (Doug, Wyatt???). In original factory sealed bags probably would bring thousands or should I dare say "PRICELESS"!!!
  12. I actually think they are going to wear an alternate uniform black helmet this year. New Orleans Saints unveil new black helmets to be worn for at least one game in 2022 (espn.com)
  13. The Original 1969 Hong Kong, Hog Leg, Black Helmet Saints is one of the rarest teams produced by Tudor, having only a one-time limited production run. Produced in Dark Jerseys and White Jerseys, the Saints only wore this helmet in the 1969 preseason. This morning in searching ebay, I found these 2 teams currently listed Tudor Electric Football Original Hog Legs Saints Black Helmet Dark Jersey | eBay, Tudor Electric Football Original Hog Legs Saints Black Helmet White Jersey | eBay. The last time I say any of these teams listed a Dark Jeresy team sold for $850 and a white Jeresy team sold for $315. both these teams seem look to be in near mint condition but the Dark Jersey team is an 'error" having 12 players and not the traditional amount of "fab 5" poses. I have them on my watchlist, since I am very interested in seeing what they wind up selling for. Typically, on teams like this, the bidding starts out slow but goes into a bidding war at the last minute. Here are some pics.
  14. New Blog featuring Aaron Campbell's Campbell EFL The Campbell Electric Football League – The National Electric Football Game Museum (nefgm.org)
  15. That's the great thing about playing solitaire!! You can make up a league out of whatever teams you want with any roster of players you want.
  16. Welcome to the Forums. The ultimate game board would be a very good board to get back into the hobby with. Visit Rules – The National Electric Football Game Museum (nefgm.org) for various basic rule sets, league and tournament rules and solitaire rules
  17. The National Electric Football Game Museum is located in Spring Hill, TN and the Music City Electric Football League is based in Madison, TN (Nashville Area)
  18. Check out this blog post on hobbydb.com Tudor Games' Electric Football Official Archive Arriving on hobbyDB - The hobbyDB Blog
  19. A field cover does not really affect the playability of a game board unless you don't apply it correctly. In other words, getting a lot of air bubbles underneath a vinyl field cover will create "bumps" that could affect a player's direction. Magnetic Covers are easier to apply and are easily removeable but depending on the thickness you may have to turn up the speed of the motor to get the players to move like you want them. The key to a good field cover application is to make sure the surface you are applying it to is clean and free of dust, dirt and debri.
  20. It is stories like this that make this game and hobby so great. This is from a post on the MFCA Facebook page. The Miniature Football Coaches Association | Facebook Austin Womack So I stumbled upon this picture here from a TOC in Cleveland, OH in 2014. To those who don’t know, This would be my first ever ”big boy” tournament at 12 years old, as my previous and first ever tournament was in Philadelphia, PA, as a 10 year old where my mom was kind enough to drive me to, pay for and sit in a hotel lobby ALL DAY while I played the game with a bunch of hand painted browns figures. This was also my first time meeting most of you and I to this day remember when I saw Big Kieth Chalmers for the first time. I told my mom “mom, that’s old salty! Big Keith!”, I was in some ways star struck. I’ll never forget that man walked up to me (due to my mom telling him All I did was watch EF) and said “what’s up youngster how ya doin?”. I still remember stumbling across EF on YouTube as a 9 year old. watching a miggle tournament game between Keith and Norbert Revels. From then on I was hooked into the Hobby. This tournament here was special to me not only because I got to really see what the EF community was, but what it was able to become. I’m sure many of you remember this was also the tournament Charles Lane made me cry as he beat me in the round of 32 (never lettin you live it down charles 😂). However the help, love and guidance I’ve received from some of you has been beyond what I would’ve expected back then and it also goes beyond EF, but also life itself. There also have been some recent guys as well as guys in this picture who have helped me along that road. Some of the lessons I have learned not only about EF but about the world we live in I will carry with my forever. I just wanted to let you guys know that In the 10 years I have played this hobby we enjoy, you have all inspired me in some way shape or form to carry the game on as well as to be the best man I can possibly be. Thank you all for how far you have advanced the game and expanded my cultural education. Here’s to another 10 years of EF! ( P.S. if you can’t find me I’m the smallest guy In the middle, besides David Nickles lol).
  21. Sent you a message with the details. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Chris LeMay
  22. Awesome report!! Thanks for posting. One of the goals I have for the museum is to have and keep league records in the archives of the museum for as many leagues (both solitaire and multiplayer leagues) as is possible. Is this something you would be interested in providing for your league? It can be as simple as you want to make it or as detailed as you want to make it. if this is something you would like to do, please let me know and I will give you more details. Thanks
  23. Awesome!! Look forward to following it.
