  1. RAMS HOME OPEN AGAINST DALLAS READY TO FIGHT FOR A THIRD LONG ISLAND ELECTRIC FOOTBALL TITLE! For the past two seasons the Long Island Electric Football League #11-Ranked Los Angeles Rams (76-80), have proven that nobody does it better in the past six years of our seven-game season format, after winning the 2018 Long Island Electric Football League Super Bowl XVI, 31-28 against the Los Angeles Chargers and this past season they won LIEFL Super Bowl XV 44-21, in OT against the Miami Dolphins. The Rams are successful because they seem to play outstanding together with a cohesive urgency, and they proved that today against Dallas in their mission for a third straight title led by Coach Billy O’C. These blue-collar Rams came to play today against a worthy NFC East battle-hardened opponent in the LIEFL #8-Ranked Dallas Cowboys (81-68). The Cowboys have consistently been that one team in this league that backs down to no one! Dallas is also an incredible story, so here is the back story: Let’s Throwback in LIEFL Time. In 1995, there was a big article written in NEWSDAY--the 11th largest newspaper in the United States--about two Long Islanders who received a Free-Pass to Chicago to compete in the World Championship of Electric Football by Miggle Toys. One of our LIEFL members decided to contact both of the Miggle stars to include them in our league. We ended up successfully contacting only one of the Miggle Champions from the article with a challenge to play him and he agreed. No false bravado here, just competitiveness for us. The game was set-up to be played in Islip, NY, on Long Island. In this highly anticipated game, the star-studded Miggle Champ started with the pre-game hype bragging about his play-style as legendary. He cautioned us to be prepared for his mean and lean Chicago Bears, as if we never played the game. That's all just Psych-hype to the fearless LIEFL. Our motto is, "We don't talk, we play to win, PERIOD!" We are athletes so what our opponent was selling, we were not buying! What we learned in this case is that statistics can make a difference in electric football, just as they might in the NFL. For Example: In our title match against the Miggle Champ, we decided to put a feisty LIEFL #8 Ranked Dallas Cowboys (81-68 All-Time), team on the field with a proven track-record in the Long Island EFL, for whatever that is worth. In that 1995 season for us, the Dallas Cowboys finished a hard-fought 3rd Place at (8-6) in the LIEFL highly competitive NFC East, but they made the LIEFL playoffs as a Wild Card Team. They had a major upset over the challenging #10 LIEFL Ranked New Orleans Saints (10-4 and 76-72), 16-13 in OT, in the Wild Card Game! Then Dallas lost in the LIEFL NFC Divisional Game against a savage #2 LIEFL Ranked Washington Redskins (11-3 and 105-68) team, 35-17. The Cowboys had 106 Points and were Ranked #6 in the LIEFL NFC on offense, and they Ranked #3 on defense in the LIEFL NFC that season. Running Back Emmitt Smith ranked #21 in our LIEFL with 119 carries with 1238 all-purpose yards, and only 6 touchdowns compared to the LIEFL #1 all-purpose player that season, Kieth Woodside for the #6 LIEFL Ranked Green Bay Packers (10-4 and 86-76) who had an LIEFL leading 122 carries for 2174 all-purpose yards in 1995 with 21 touchdowns for the Pack who lost to the #23 LIEFL Ranked Wild Card Philadelphia Eagles (9-5 and 63-78) in the LIEFL NFC Divisional Championship Game 38-30 that season. Regardless of our challenge, we knew the consistency of our Cowboys as a tough Tier II team climbing to the elite Tier I-Top-Five Ranks in the LIEFL behind teir one's #1 Ranked Miami Dolphins (166-34), dominant winners of LIEFL Super Bowl's I, III, IV, V, VI, and IX, the LIEFL Super Bowl VII Champion, # 2 Ranked Washington Redskins (105-68), #3 Ranked Denver Broncos (102-60-1), #4 Ranked Chicago Bears (94-66), winner of 1976 LIEFL Super Bowl II, and 2000 LIEFL Super Bowl XI, and LIEFL #5 Ranked Pittsburgh Steelers (90-68). The Cowboys have played almost 150 games in our league, and we feel all leagues are unproven obviously until we all compete. We also recognize that one team is not a complete representation of a league. The Cowboy Romp! By kick-off our LIEFL battle-hardened Cowboys were ready to get it on and play against the champ. Our opponent Chicago Bears looked intimidating in those dark jerseys, and "America's Team" dressed in white jerseys for the Long Island Bowl of Champions, which we had hoped to make an annual tradition. We thought that our annual Super Bowl Champ could play our opponent's SB Champion, making for a great friendship. Even if we were destroyed, we would have handled the game with dignity, respect, and a handshake after the game. We don't do would-have, should-have, could-have scenarios in our league, we just compete! We agreed to the rules and he won the passing rules with stick set-ups and managed formations, but we won on defense and in our running attack, which turned out to be relentless. Good nature trash-talking by the Miggle Champion sadly went on before the game, during the game, and after the game. As we predicted in our pre-game prep against our unknown opponent, he came out passing on first down. We somehow stopped his Bears cold on their first passing drive by shutting down his outside game with our linebackers, and in the trenches LIEFL Cowboys Ed "TooTall" Jones, Harvey Martin, Randy White, Leon Lett, and Larry Allen stuffed his run, pushing his line back 20 yards in two plays forcing our opponent to punt on fourth down. On the ensuing punt, speedy Emmitt Smith returned the ball 78 yards with a blazing sideline run to the scorched Chicago Bears 22 yard-line. One play later, Smith, led by big Larry Allen, dominated the running game as Smith bullied his way right up the center and in for the Cowboys first score! Smith had his way the entire game rushing for over 100 yards on the ground in the Long Island Bowl of Champions. The Cowboys consumed the clock and our LIEFL pre-game strategy worked perfect for this game! With our opponent losing 21-0 at the half against the Cowboys, the trash-talk was ignited for the rest of the game when the Miggle Champs team wasn't winning. As athletes we tend to handle our wins and losses with class rather than whine about losing. When we lose we just accept a tough defeat and come back strong for the next game. We let our team just play the game the way it was meant to be played by letting our team do the talking on the scoreboard. The Dallas defense came up huge against his Bears passing game, shutting this Bear team down with silence, strategic precision. The best of the opponents Bears was a 22-yard pass touchdown play to their tight end with seconds left which ended the memorable game with the Long Island EFL Cowboys winning 21-7! In the end our Dallas Cowboys defense shut down the Chicago Bears, holding them to zero yards on the ground in rushing, and 55 yards in the passing game. Leon Lett had three tackles and Larry Allen had three tackles for the Cowboys as they celebrated a proud moment in LIEFL history for us! After the game this Miggle Champ boasted about how his five-year undefeated Cleveland Browns would have crushed our Cowboys, but in the end we thoroughly enjoyed the competition and statesmanship for the game. Even if it were so that the Browns could have crushed Dallas, we always have the formidable and better than average, LIEFL #1 Ranked Miami Dolphins (166-34), who have played many outside tournaments as a worthy opponent. Fast forward to today’s game. The Rams take a four prong approach to winning, which means all of their offensive players are involved as a team and they've been able to unite and ignite a “Fabulous Five” front-line which synergizes into a machine that wins football games! Here on opening day against the Dallas Cowboys, there is a lot of excitement of what could be a possibility that this team can win three historic Super Bowls in a row. They would become only the second team in the history of this league to be able to do so other than the Miami Dolphins. Coach O’Connell knows better than to think that far ahead. He said, “Listen, the Rams are not going to be pushed around. We are taking each game by plan, thinking it all out with a backup plan. We have a rough schedule of Philadelphia, Buffalo, San Francisco, the Giants, the Jets, and Arizona. Four of those teams were contenders last season, so we are bringing our all and leaving nothing on the table. We are as good as any team in this league when we play together. We are going into this season at war with every team in the league, because it is not just a third title we want. We want to DOMINATE. We think we have the coaches and the league figured out. We have won five straight and 18 games in two seasons. We are here to fight for a title!” That is a lot of statement, but can the Rams back it up? When the boom of the kickoff began, the Rams wasted no time with a 40-yard kick return from Superstar return specialist, “The Reverend” Isaac Bruce and on the first run of the game. The Rams are all about ball control and time we are looking at a prolific offense that is anchored by one of the most intense lines in the Long Island Football League over the last two seasons of Rosy Grier Merlin Olsen Chris Long and Deacon Jones along with their anchor, Jackie Slater. On their first run from scrimmage, last year’s LIEFL Super Bowl XV MVP, Wendell Tyler ran 8 yards until he collided with Dallas linebacker Dexter Coakley who stopped Tyler at the 48-yard line of Los Angeles. On second run Tyler styled a 34-yard slashing run through traffic to the Dallas 18-yard line for huge first down. The Rams made easy work of that tough Dallas defensive line with big Larry Allen in the middle getting run over by All-Pro Jackie Slater and the Fab-Five! After the first two big runs for Los Angeles they're the Dallas defense stopped the run and figured it out by moving people around for better match-ups, but it took Coach Pizz time to make the adjustments. The Rams were forced to pass on 3rd down and two-time NFC Championship Game MVP, and Super Bowl XV MVP with Tyler, Isaac Bruce grabbed a swift 34-yard touchdown play on third down from quarterback Jared Goff to make the score, 7-0 Rams! On the ensuing kickoff Cowboy All-Pro Terrell Owens buzzed back 37-yards and is hit head-on by Eric Dickerson who makes a big open field tackle for Los Angeles as the ball gets turned over to the evasive Emmitt Smith, one of the most prolific runners in our game. The Cowboys came to play as Smith ran for three straight first downs of 25,14, and 18 yards to the Los Angeles 8-yard line to end the half. One play later Smith bullets through the left hole for a touchdown to tie the game at seven, with 13:17 left to go in the game. After Isaac Bruce's 46-yard kick return with the score tied, Wendell Tyler took over with a 26-yard run on 1st down with the Dallas defense fighting hard for the battle in the trenches. Last year when these two teams met it was the Cowboys who walked away with the win 23-17 in 23 seconds of OT. It's not hard to imagine these two teams in the playoffs and both teams have strong schedules. Dallas has a favorable schedule that can land them in the playoffs for the first time since 2000, when they set a playoff record for most points scored in a game with 56 against Atlanta beating them 56-52, and then they lost to Philadelphia in the Divisional Championship Game, 35-20. The Rams kept the ball moving on this drive. Bruce made another first down on a great catch for 16-yards bringing it to the Dallas 9-yard line with 4:57 left to go in the game. On the very next play Wendell Tyler ran around star defensive tackle, Randy White from 9 yards out to score, making the score 14-7, Los Angeles with 4:09 left to go in the game. Dallas marched right back on the kick-off with a blazing 100-yard kick-return for a touchdown by Terrel Owens with 2:25 left to go in the game, tying the score at 14 in this electrifying game. This game was going to end at Los Angeles in front of 85,000 people with the Cowboys backs against the wall to remember when it comes playoff time, and when the Rams got the ball back for the last time, there is only one man they could rely on to get the job done to get in field-goal range with 8 seconds left in the game, “The Reverend” Isaac Bruce! Bruce took it a shocking 93-yards downfield to the Dallas 7-yard line where the Rams ended the game with a field goal, winning 17-14 in a thriller! Dallas is at Atlanta (1-0), next week and the Rams play a rematch of the NFC Wild Card Game against Philadelphia (0-1). 2. I'm so sorry I was talking into the phone and I think it's called you Ralph LOL I love the pictures are really great
  3. One of my favorites is the fridge nothing like those 85 Bears
  4. I really appreciate your work outstanding detail thank you so much for contributing to our hobby
  5. That looks amazing can't imagine how long it took you to do those great work
  6. Ralph from what I can see in the picture of your teams pretty amazing great decal and paint work are those the Chicago Bears?
  7. That's really nice of you to say thank you so much. it's too much work when you're doing professional decals on your team's I felt to change the players every year so what I did was we tried to pick our all-time best players and sometimes when we get tired of those I just use the current number and player to match that position or person. I only put 11 men on a team it's an 8-man league so we put our best players on the field and we hold a draft every year. It's so nice that other people are interested in our leagues and if you visit the page if that's something that interest you you will see how many years and all the records we have dedicated to our league. We think it's special.there's a long list of things that we do to make sure everybody needs the requirements in our league has only 11 players per team using the 67 big men. We finished with all 32 teams painting them of ourselves and decaling them ourselves to replicate the NFL look. I'd love to see your stuff I will check out your page My name is Bill O'Connell it's nice to meet you
  8. THE BENGALS WIN BIG AGAINST THE OVER CHARGERS IN OT! Facing the 2018 AFC Champion LIEFL #14-Ranked Los Angeles Chargers (73-69), is going to be a tremendous challenge in the Long Island Electric Football League. The Chargers fell just shy of another AFC Championship game after losing to the Buffalo Bills in the 2019 AFC Divisional Championship Game 49-48 in a controversial clock issue. The Chargers finished the season (6-2). The LIEFL #26 -Ranked Cincinnati Bengals (51-80), are as exciting as the Chargers, the difference being coaching, but Rookie Coach Johnny "The Chucker" Lafromboise, who took over the Bengals three years ago, has produced. He is one cocky 32 year-old. His Bengals play as cocky, with a chip on their shoulder too! In an interesting historic side story if you like reading our articles. Cincinnati was involved in our longest game in LIEFL history, and our only playoff game that ended in a tie and replayed in 1978-79 against the Denver Broncos, 7-7 in triple OT. The game was too late at night for us to finish and we decided to allow both teams to play the other AFC teams in the playoffs, and the Bengals beat Cleveland 23-21, and Denver beat New England 27-21, and the two met for a second time in the playoffs with Denver beating Cincinnati 35-14, to advance to the AFC Championship Game that season, eventually losing to Miami, 21-17. The Bengals won the division in 2017, only to be silenced by the LIEFL Super Bowl XIII Champion Buffalo Bills, 42-28, in the AFC Wild Card Game. For Los Angeles, LaDanian Tomlinson has been one of the best offensive players in the AFC, and his play-making skills make his a very dangerous threat running the ball the past two seasons. On the kickoff Cincinnati's rising star, Chad Ocho-Cinco Johnson had a sweet 85-yard return in the middle of traffic as he ran out at the 15-yard line of the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bengals turned the ball over to fullback "Ickey" Woods at the 15, and Woods was dragged back 5 yards Chargers All-Pro defensive end, Ernie Ladd. Cincinnati wasted no time airing it our, but they picked an unsuspected Archie Griffin to do the blue collar work, blocking for Woods. Griffin, who hasn't seen the ball in some time caught a pass in the flats from Joe Burrow, the former LSU star, for a 22-yard touchdown to put the Bengles ahead 7-0! Coach Lafromboise had a smile that you read about, guaranteeing a win over the Chargers. It is tough to win on the road in the league as the home team gets the ball first and we flip sides at the half. The Chargers running back LaDanian Tomlinson returned the ball on the ensuing kick-off Tomlinson for 40 yard, and on the first play from scrimmage Tomlinson burst the the Los Angeles line for a 21-yard pick up to the Bengals 39 yard-line, first down Chargers. Tomlinson drove the ball again behind that huge All-Pro front line led by Ernie Ladd, Earl Faison, and Russ Washington, taking the Chargers to the Cincinnati 15-yard line for a first down! On first down, the Charger front three swept right as Tomlinson takes in the touchdown from 15 yards out, 7- 7 game. Cincinnati started from their own 24 yard line on a bad kickoff return by Ocho-Cinco. And on an amazing play Kellen Winslow tackled Woods in the back field on second down for a loss of five, forcing a third-down play for The Bengals. There was no stopping Cincinnati on this drive as wide receiver Chris Collinsworth grabbed a pass from Burrow for a huge 30-yard pickup and a first down for the Bengals offense. The Chargers defensive line storm through on two straight downs to stop Woods after that first down from Collinsworth. On third down Ocho-Cinco found an opening and took the ball down field 75 yards into the end zone for a dramatic Cincinnati score. The Bengals had every reason to walk with a strut, with their heads up for sure as they shocked the Chargers with 7:24 remaining in the game. On the next kickoff, Tomlinson took the ball back 39 yards and was met by hard-hitting Archie Griffin at the 39-yard line. What a game! The Chargers are on the road with their backs against the wall with 5:55 left to go in the game from their own 39-yard line and Cincinnati has the momentum trying to work that defensive line to slow the clock down so that this game does not go into overtime With 2:05 left to go in the game the Chargers moved the ball slowly up-field to their own 49-yard line on first. Finally, with 8 seconds left to go in the game the Chargers find themselves in the end-zone on an amazing breakaway catch from Phillip Rivers to Kellen Winslow SR., who escaped for an open field touchdown to tie the game 14-14, sending the game into overtime with the Bengals winning the coin toss! On the overtime kickoff Bengals star, Ickey Woods was met by four Chargers and hit hard at the Bengal 36 yard-line. On first down in overtime Burrow hit Chris Collinsworth, who strikes again with a 36-yard pass play bringing the ball to the Chargers 39-yard line. Cincinnati's Burrow found a soft spot in the Los Angeles secondary going to Collinsworth again, making his third catch of the game at the Charger 25-yard line. The Bengals continued air it out with Joe Burrow, the star rookie quarterback. Could this be something special in the makings for the Cincinnati Bengals? In this league anything can happen, but the fact that they're at this point in the game in overtime with one of the better teams in the league is a huge statement by the Bengals as they competed and played a bigger than life with Collinsworth catching his fourth pass and deciding the game at 7:03 in Overtime, giving the Bengals an enormous lift in Week #1 against the playoff contender Los Angeles Chargers with the game-winning touchdown making the final score, 20-14! Cincinnati might be the only team other than Los Angeles Rams with a quadruple threat. Collinsworth ended the day with four catches and 106 yards with the game wining score, and Chad Ocho-Cinco Johnson gave the Bengals a boost with two kick-returns for 109 yards, and one catch for a 75 yard TD! For Los Angeles, Tomlinson finished 8-149-1 touchdown on the day. The Cincinnati Bengals head to the Cleveland Browns (0-1) in another bitter rivalry in Week #2 LIEFL action, and the Los Angeles Chargers head back west to face the Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) in a divisional match-up.
  9. Looks like such a great League I love it. We have a lot in common with the teaching it's a real challenge for the children.
  10. SAINTS BEAT BUCS IN LAST SECOND THRILLER 17-14! In the Long Island Electric Football League, there is always that one team that annoys people, because they crush the playoff hopes for other coaches who might be too confident in their team, just as you might in your leagues around the world. The LIEFL #10 New Orleans Saints (76-72), are one of those teams that perform best under pressure, but they are also classic-spoilers. We call the Saints the "Terminators" because each season they seem to destroy the playoff hopes of a contending team that all of us favor to be in the Long Island Electric Football League playoffs. All of us but one coach, Kevin Maloney, the 6 foot 4' Terminator! This rivalry isn't just a team rivalry, but it is a fierce and friendly coaching rivalry! Maloney spoiled coach O'Connell's 1991-92 LIEFL Super Bowl VIII hopes by beating the Miami Dolphins 26-21 in a (DOT) electrifying thriller! The stakes are always high in the South Division. The rising stars in New Orleans are back in business in their opener which is more than a rival it's a grudge match between New Orleans and Tampa Bay. In 2019, Maloney's New Orleans were competitive in every game. They went (2-5), but they are one of the best 2-5 teams we've ever seen and after procuring a number of new Draft-player basis, they are on the rise in the South! At the end of each season, we buy 150-250 new player bases for our Draft and the teams with the worst records get the best pick of the lot in rebuilding their team. We negotiate sometimes as to who want to pass on the Draft because they are satisfied with their current team, holding that #1 Draft for the following season. That's how 2017 Super Bowl Champion, Buffalo rebuilt. This game was a knock-down drag-out brawl in this competitive South division, where everyone is fighting to be the top dog against Carolina and Atlanta. New Orleans Saints running back, play-maker Reggie Bush, finished strong in 2019 with 1491 all-purpose yards with 7 touchdowns! New Orleans lost to two-time LIEFL Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams 10-7, and in the last two games of the season they eliminated the tough Tennessee Titans from the playoffs in Week#6, beating the Titans 14-10 in a stunner. Then in Week #7, the Saints beat the high-profile Atlanta Falcons and Gerald Riggs in OT, 27-21, eliminating the "Dirty Birds" in one of the Falcons greatest season's on record. We can't look forward in this league, we have to play in the moment and that is coach Maloney's specialty, so coming into this season opener the rivalry continues between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The LIEFL #19 Ranked Bucs (66-86), didn't compete against the Saints last season, but the season before, New Orleans crushed the Bucs playoff hopes in the season finale.Buccaneer All-Pro running back Rickey Bell was a respectable #3 in the NFC and #4 in the LIEFL in rushing as he rushed for a big 654 yards last season with 12 touchdowns and three 50 yards or more touchdown runs! On the opening kickoff Reggie Bush took it back 44 yards until Tampa Bay defensive tackle Paul Gruber made a huge hit on Bush. The Saints stuck first! On the anxious New Orleans Saints first run from scrimmage Reggie Bush took it 51 yards to the Buccaneer 5-yard line making a statement. Coach Maloney had a smirk on his face, he wasted no time showing what his Saints offense can do against one of the best teams in the South. But, coach Joe Pizz' Buccaneer defense came out strong, stopping Reggie Bush on his first two attempts after the big 51 yard run, forcing the Saints to air it out on third down. One play later tight end Jeremy Shockey grabbed a beautiful pass from quarterback Drew Bees, taking it down the left sideline for a 21-yard touchdown, making the score 7-0 Saints with 8:17 to go in the half. On the kickoff, Special teams player All-Pro Jimmy Giles for Tampa Bay (22-1195-2 100 yard kick returns in 2019), ran the ball back to the 50 on the kickoff return and two plays later, Bell ran a 48 yard run to the 2-yard line of the Saints, coming within striking distance on 1st and goal to goal. One play later, Bell bullied his way into the end-zone for the 1-yard touchdown to the Saints weak strong side through the New Orleans touch defensive tackle, All-Pro William Rolf. On the first play of the second half Bucs lineman Warren Sapp hit Reggie Bush hard for a 3-yard loss on first down. That Hardy defensive line for the Tampa Bay Bucs game up solid on three straight plays forcing a fourth down and a very difficult decision to make from 55 yards out for New Orleans. The Saints kick a field goal and take the lead, 10-7 with 11:25 left to go in the game. For the second time in the game ,Giles had a wide-open hole only be to be turned around by his own man, this time he had a 55-yard return with nobody around spoiling the Buccaneers chance to take the lead. The Bucs looked rusty with the lack of practice COVID-19 has prevented them from daily workouts in Florida. On third down Tampa Bay's Winston Jameis threw a 33-yard spiral 2 fullback Mike Alstot for the completion, taking it to at Saints 12-yard line. Two plays later, Bell scored in second touchdown of the game, putting the Buccaneers ahead 14-10 with 2:03 to go in the game. Time was running out on both teams and in a sensational turn of events for Maloney's New Orleans Saints with 11 seconds left in the game, Reggie Bush broke free from the Tampa Bay defense as the Bucs watch the unreal as Drew Brees hit Bush for a 55-yard touchdown to come back and win the game 17-14 in a dramatic thriller!
  11. TAYLOR PULLS THROUGH TO GIVE PACKERS OPENING SEASON WIN OVER VIKINGS! (Minneapolis, Minnesota) July 30, 2020. It's a long electric football season, but these early week #1 games and their importance historically, have come back to haunt teams. The LIEFL #7-Ranked Minnesota Vikings (82-73), have had quite the history in the Long Island Electric Football League with their best year finishing (13-1) in 1977-78. They lost to the LIEFL #6-Ranked Green Bay Packers (86-76), 14-2 in round 1 of the playoffs in a major upset that season, and what is amazing about this league is, we can look back! That bitter feeling losing to Packer Coach Ed Viglietta is not what it was for Viking Coach Joe Pizz now, but he reflected back after looking at the records saying, "I play much better now than I did then because I know the game of football, and what I try to do with this team is get the run going with Peterson, and when that fails, my next best option is Chris Carter and Sammy White who was All-Pro in this league back in 2008." Since then, the Vikings have come close for Pizz, but they fall just short with the Teir I teams. And Pizz' claim to fame is delivering the #1-Ranked Miami Dolphins and Coach Billy O'C, a 21-14 regular season loss. Miami's second in their history in our league. In 2017, Pizz took these Vikings to the NFC Championship Game, losing to the Detroit Lions 45-41, in the clash of the Titans! Minnesota's Adrian Peterson was a beast that year. He finished #2 in the NFC in rushing and #5 in the LIEFL. That may have been the Vikings best team ever as Minnesota finished (7-3). Since then, the league has gotten much stronger through the Draft and the average Vikings might find the league outgrowing their talent. Pizz is still here, and so are the Vikings all of these committed years later. We all committed to ending our league in 2025 and we will then donate everything to a special someone who can carry on the Long Island Electric Football PROMISE to contunue our tradition when we are gone. One last observation about these Vikings is they have always been competitive, but never dominant. And since our 2008 Draft, both Green Bay and Minnesota have been a consistent team with a winning tradition. Minnesota just missed the playoffs last year as they split their two meetings during the regular season play with Green Bay. In preparation for this game on opening day the two teams realize how important it is to compete at the highest level because it's games like this that at the end of the season matter in qualifying for the playoffs, so this in fact, is like a playoff game between these two division rivals from the NFC North. The Packers surprised last year when for the first time in a long time they made it to the postseason since 2000, when Green Bay finished 2nd in the old Central Division, beating the LIEFL #22-Ranked Arizona Cardinals (64-89) 41-38, in the NFC Wild Card Game, and losing to division rival, the LIEFL #4 Ranked Chicago Bears (94-66) 21-17, in the NFC Championship Game! This Packer team clinched the division title in 2019, and then they lost to the LIEFL #29-Ranked Carolina Panthers (29-27) 42-20 in that game, but they grew in the playoffs and learned from the experience against a superior team in the Panthers. Coach Viglietta knows how to build a team that can perform. They didn't quit on a group of rising stars in the Panthers. Historic Packer running back Terdell Middleton leads the Pack, backed up by the great Jim Taylor at fullback. Taylor was a star in the Panther Wild Card Game. In that game had some tremendous end-around runs totaling 160 yards on the ground rushing against one of the toughest teams in our league for three touchdowns. That opened a lot of eyes. This season the Packers have improved at linebacker and it's going to be a pleasure watching these two amazing teams compete. Play-by-Play On the very first play the game on kickoff Adrian Peterson stomped 44 yards on the return until he was destroyed by Reggie White who laid him out at their own 43 yard line. Peterson got up slow. On Minnesota's first drive from the 43-yard line it took them three plays to get the first down on a 7-yard pass to Sammy White from Fran Tarkenton. White was pushed out of bounds at the 45 of the Packers. And the Packers front line gave the Vikings the business with a lot of pushing and shoving up front in the trenches and no forward movement from the Vikings in the running game. Adrian Peterson had his hands full as he picked himself up from the dirt. It seemed that every time Peterson tried to get around the end, Green Bay's Reggie White was nearby as the intimidating Packer defensive line of White, Willie Davis, and Cullen Jenkins are a force in the division. Minnesota kept moving forward on big short yardage plays, but Peterson is the play-maker for the Viking offense catching a 33-yard pass play for another first down. On the very next play Coach Pizz Vikings pulled a real fast one on Coach Viglietta. Viking Quarterback Fran Tarkenton switched the ball up from Adrian Peterson to Chuck Foreman as Foreman ran for another 14 yard run to the packer 12 yard-line. Tensions flared between these two coaches. Green Bay then shut down the Viking offense for good as they walked into a wall of play-off hungry Packers, pushing them back 15 yards. The half ended on third down for the Vikings at the Green Bay 31-yard line, with 28 yards to go for a Minnesota first down. On the next play, the Vikings got stomped again on third down trying to pass the ball with no one to throw, the Packer defense forced a fourth-down. The Vikings made a hasty decision on fourth-down and got slammed with the price tag from Green Bay's lineman, Willie Davis who dragged down Adrian Peterson trying to hit an outside hole, Packers ball! On first down for the Packers Terdell Middleton scampered for a nine yard run to their own 49-yard line, one yard shy of the first down as Minnesota defensive tackle Carl Eller makes the stop. Behind a wall of blockers Middleton took Green Bay offense on a ride with runs of 10, 3, 8, and another first down run for 18 yards to the Viking 8-yard line with the clock ticking at 4:12 left to go in the game. After finding three more yards to the 5-yard line of the Vikings, the Packers hand it off to the big fullback Jim Taylor to make the score 7-0, with 37 seconds left to go in the game. On the final kick return the game Minnesota's Adrian Peterson returned it 48-yards as the Green Bay Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings 7-0 in a battle of the defenses! Adrian Peterson finished with nine carries for 128 all-purpose yards on the day as the Vikings travel to Indianapolis to face the (1-0) Colts who beat Jacksonville 20-14 in (OT). Terdell Middleton carried the Packers for 53 yards on seven carries and Jim Taylor again is the big story with the only touchdown in the game from 5 yards out. The Packers face the competitive Detroit Lions (1-0), who beat the Chicago Bears 34-28 in the LIEFL Game of the Week with Detroit's Dexter Bussy scoring 5 touchdowns and 499 all-purpose yards setting a new LIEFL record!
  12. If you want those Browns they are yours. I am in the process of painting new one's --these are 67 BIG MEN
  13. Thank you my brother. Does guys are legends am I did was in 2008 I decided that because I went to the professionally decal numbers which can be difficult to remove, I created an all-century team for each team. I painted every team the lad wanted it for all 32 teams. It was an enormous amount of work. Wait until you see the Tampa Bay Bucs. They may be one of my favorites in terms of their uniforms and thank you so much for your comments. It means a lot to me. I appreciate you.
  14. I'm thinking about putting butkus on my Bears but it's a lot of work to change the numbers I have urlacher on there but who doesn't love butkus

  16. Long Island Electric Football League #13-Ranked Cleveland Browns (73-67) vs #29-Ranked Baltimore Ravens (29-28) It is division rivalry week in the Long Island Electric Football's Opening Games in Week #1, with a classic match-up between two bitter rivals, the Cleveland Browns and 2019 North Division Champion Baltimore Ravens. In their six seasons in the LIEFL, the feisty Ravens have been in the LIEFL playoffs five-times, winning the North three times. They can never be underestimated with the explosive speed and power they have. The Ravens lost in the Wild Card Round last season to the Buffalo Bills 45-34, in a high-scoring match-up. Baltimore continues to improve all-around. The Cleveland Brown defense is difficult to break. There was a point in 2017 that Browns had the #1 defense in the LIEFL before being embarrassed by the Cinderella Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Championship Game, 45-14! Buffalo went on to stun the league winning Super Bowl XIII as a Wild Card Team, in one of the best Long Island Super Bowl's on record, dominating the 2016 defending LIEFL Super Bowl XII Champion, Detroit Lions 49-35! It seems Buffalo was a team of the past as this league continues to grow through the Draft leaving no team safe! To get this rivalry started, after a short kick return by Ravens All-Pro speedster Derek Mason, Baltimore's emerging LIEFL star running back Jamal Lewis & Company worked the challenging defensive line of the Cleveland Browns led by defensive end Kam Wembly and tackle Ricky Bolden. This time around the offensive firepower of the Ravens in the first quarter gave them a run for their money as Baltimore's Jamal Lewis took it in 39 yards for the touchdown, 7-0 Ravens! Baltimore Linemen Jon Ogden and Willie Anderson broke the center trench open to spread out the Cleveland front line making way for Jamal Lewis' seven carries and 113 yard ground game and his first of two touchdowns in the game. When the Browns got the ball on their opening kickoff, the great Jim Brown silenced the Baltimore crowd, returning the ball for 100-yard touchdown run blowing around the left side of the Ravens sideline destroying the Baltimore's special teams unit, tying the game at 7-7. Brown had four 100-yard touchdowns last season. After Derrick Mason's 48-yard return on the the Ravens first possession from scrimmage, it was Jamal Lewis again, bursting around left tackle taking it 52 yards up field for a amazing touchdown run whizzing past Cleveland outside linebacker Clay Matthews, Sr., making the score 14-7 in favor of the Ravens. The Browns next Drive had a head-on collision between Jimmy Brown and All-Pro Specialist Derek Mason, who made a spectacular special teams play, saving another hundred yard touchdown run by Brown and stopping him at the 47-yard line of Cleveland. On the next set of downs on Jim Brown's first run, he got dragged down from behind losing almost 20 yards on the run by a swarming Raven defense led by LIEFL three-time All-Pro Linebacker Ray Lewis. This forced the Browns to pass and air it out on second down. After being stopped on third down and losing that first 20 yards in this set of downs, the All-Pro Jim Brown exploded for a power-back 38-yard run making this division rivalry one the Ravens are not going to forget as Brown took the ball to the Raven 39-yard line with 12:39 left to go in the game. The Raven defense continued to swarm on second down as Jimmy Brown was tackled from behind for a second time by Ray Lewis at the Browns own 46 yard line for another 18-yard loss. After losing another 15 yards as victims of this Raven defense, Cleveland's Mike Pruitt got stuck behind Matthews, Sr., again and the Cleveland Browns lost another chance to this relentless, bruising Baltimore defense. On fourth down with 3:44 left to go in the game Jim Brown was stopped cold, and the Browns were forced to turn the ball over to the Ravens. The Ravens ran the clock and the ball on their final Drive. On a quarterback sneak Lamar Jackson surprised the Browns with a 19 yard quarterback sneak for the first down to the Browns 14-yard line as the clock ran out and the Ravens with seconds left kicked the field goal, winning the game 17-7 as this division rivalry continues! Next week the Baltimore Ravens face the high-flying Houston Texans (0-1), who lost to Kansas City 14-10 this week, and Cleveland faces Cincinnati (0-0) in their home opener!
  17. THANK YOU MY EFL BROTHER! I have now painted all 32-teams with decals! As you know it is a lot of work, but work worth doing when you love the hobby right? Hope you and yours are well during this pandemic! Thanks so much for the message!
  18. Long Island Electric Football League: #1 All-Time Ranked-Miami Dolphins (167-34) vs. #24 All-Time Ranked-New England Patriots (62-76). Last year's Long Island Electric Football League's The AFC Champion Miami Dolphins met on the New England Patriots home turf and they dominated the Patriots 17-10! The Dolphins raced to LIEFL Super Bowl XV last year and put up a fierce battle against the two-time super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams 44-41 in OT, showing the league that the six-time LIEFL Super Champion Miami Dolphins are back! This Dolphin team with their new Total team control bottoms have built a powerful offensive line of Jason Taylor, Larry Little, and Bob Kuechenberg, making them a complete team again, ready to compete and perform. Miami's Mercury Morris was the AFC's leading rusher with 693 yards and 13 touchdowns, but it didn't come easy for Miami. The three seasons before, they added on the losses, losing 18 games and winning only three. They made out big in the 2017 Draft, rebuilding to where they are today. Where they are today is competitive! This game started with a beautiful 42-yard kick-return by Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots ran the ball on five straight plays, with Patriot running back Laurence Maroney, gaining only 15 yards and then losing the 15 yards he gained to Miami's Jason Taylor! The Dolphin defense stuffed the Pats on fourth down. When Miami got the ball, they managed to score on a field goal on their first drive as New England matched them on defense. On the kick-off, Gronkowski bullied the ball back 60 yards and on their first play from scrimmage, the Patriots got pushed back again on a run and two plays later Maroney found himself in a one-on-one situation with Dolphin Linebacker Brian Cox, beating Cox to the end-zone with a beautiful 55-yard touchdown pass from Patriots QB Tom Brady, making the score New England 7-3 over the Dolphins. Miami stormed right back with a Mark "Super" Duper 78-yard return, and one play later Mercury Morris took the ball in for a 40-yard touchdown making the score 10-7, Dolphins! The Dolphins again stopped the Patriots on their next drive and got the ball back with Mercury Morris scoring on another 12-yard touchdown run set-up by a super kick return by Duper. Miami took the lead 17-7! On the Patriots last drive they flat out, ran out of time after Rob Gronkowski returned the ball 85 yards to the Dolphin 15 yard line as the clock ticked down, forcing the New England to kick a field goal making the final score 17-10, Miami! wins the game. It was Miami lineman Jason Taylor, the rising star who made the difference in the game. Taylor finished with five huge game stopping tackles in the game and he ran all over the Patriots. Her put on a defensive show today, shutting down New England running back, Laurence Maroney, holding him to only 15 yards rushing. The Dolphins made big plays the entire game on defense. On the other end of the spectrum for Miami Mercury Morris, had five carries for 64 yards rushing and two touchdowns, one of them a 40-yarder! Mark Duper the #2 return man in the AFC behind Las Vegas' Dave Casper set up Morris for the short-yardage touchdowns behind a wall of Miami Dolphin blockers. The Dolphins were very impressive in their opening day game, but their colossal rematch next week against Buffalo should be a great war. Miami came up big in the AFC championship game last season beating the Buffalo Bills 31 21, and shutting down super-back OJ Simpson's electric company on offense. With this win, the Dolphins have positioned themselves for a great season with a strong schedule ahead facing Buffalo, Jacksonville, Seattle, the New York Jets, New England and Buffalo again! New England goes back to the foundation after that Super Bowl XII loss to Detroit in 2016, and they must find a way to finish strong in this exciting AFC East!
  19. Long Island Electric Football League #4 Ranked Chicago Bears (94-67) vs. #16 Ranked Detroit Lions (67-72) It's no secret that the three-time NFC Finalist and winner of LIEF Super Bowl XII, beating AFC Champion New England Patriots 42-17, the Detroit Lions come to play! These two teams the Lions and Chicago Bears in most electric football leagues are a historic match-up. The Bears were forced to air it out. Tight End Mike Ditka had his biggest game of his LIEFL career, catching his first of two touchdowns on the Bears drive to tie the game at 7-7. Ditka scored two touchdown passes to ignite the Bears offense, the second was a 59 yard touchdown! Detroit set off the bombs in the second-half, and Chicago matched them! Bussy would drive downfield with a 55 yard kick returned by Bussy's Lions, with three consecutive runs of 25, 3, 7 and finally, a tear around NFC Starting All-Pro Tackle, Lomas Brown for a 9 yard touchdown to make the score 14 -7 Lions. Bussy, then took back an incredible 100 yard kick-return for a touchdown making the score 21-14 for the Lions. Gault was not finished yet! He had more business to take care of as a rising star in this division. He ripped a 46 yard return and on first down, Gault caught a 54 yard spectacular touchdown, showing his blazing speed as he ran in to the end-zone to tie the game 21-21. With the game tied at 21, these 2020 Bears were about to back down from Detroit. The Lions showcased and matched the talent as Superstar Bussy, on the next kickoff took it right back for another 100 yard return for a touchdown making the score 28-21 Detroit! It was Bussy's second 100-yard return in a row! And, Willie Gault and the Chicago Bears answered with their own spectacular 100 yard kick-return on the very next play tying the score at 28 with just three seconds left and out of time in regulation. This has to go down as one of the top 10 or 15 games of all time in the Long Island EFL season opener! The Lions won the coin toss in overtime, and they wasted no time. Bussy returned the ball 35 yards and on first down he ran for 15, then 49, and finally, from one yard out he stormed in for his 5th touchdown of the game to give the powerful Detroit Lions (1-0) a 34-28 victory in four minutes overtime! What an amazing game for two historic teams. The Lions playoff hopes were crushed last year by the Bears, but the Bussy finished with 9 runs for 147 yards with three touchdowns rushing, and he had an electrifying 5 for 352 yards and 2 x 100 yard kick returns for touchdowns, totaling 499 all-purpose yards! ALL RECORD HOLDERS SEVEN GAME SEASON AS OF JULY 28.pdfChicago's Willie Gault had 4 kick-returns for 236 yards and a 100 yard kick return for a touchdown along with a 54-yard touchdown catch, giving him 290 all-purpose yards in the day with two touchdowns. 21. LIEFL #21 Ranked Indianapolis Colts (64-87) vs. LIEFL #30 Jacksonville Jaguars (25-25) This week in the Long Island Electric Football League we've watched a great first six games of the 16 weekly games. Our 2020 Draft has players and teams performing! The Jaguars and Colts are a bitter rival in the LIEFL with each slugging it out toe-to-toe for the division title. With the Jaguars escaping the Colts wrath by not having to play them last season, Indianapolis remains a powerful force in the League with four playoff appearances since 1977, and two in a row! There is an endless supply of talent in this division rivalry between the Jacksonville Jaguars and consistent playoff team, the Indianapolis Colts. In 2019, the Colts were the #4 AFC Seeded team in the Playoffs. They fell just short of the AFC Divisional Game after losing to the #5 Seeded Oakland Raiders in the AFC Wild Card Game, November 26, 2019, 38-34! Indianapolis' Joseph Addai had 26 carries for 560 all-purpose yards with four touchdowns in that heart-breaking loss the the Raiders. And, in 2018 the Colts lost 44-38 in OT to the Los Angeles Chargers in their run for the LIEFL Super Bowl XVI. This is a battle-ready team! The last time these Jaguars saw the playoffs in the LIEFL, was in 2000, their first year in our league when they went (10-4) and beat the Baltimore Ravens 28-27 in the Divisional Game, and then were embarrassed in the AFC Championship Game by Miami 30-10! The Jaguars can't seem to find the balance in developing a strong running game complimented by the double-threat passing game, but they have excellent special teams. Jacksonville's Fred Taylor exploded on the opening kick-off with a 45 yard kick return. The Jags fought hard against a strong Colts defensive line led by Bubba Smith and Elmer Collett, but Taylor (#15 in AFC and #30 in LIEFL Rushing) roped in a 44-yard touchdown catch to make the score 7-0 Jags. The explosive Joseph Addai, who finished (#5 in Rushing in the AFC with 43-477-10 TD's and #7 in the LIEFL in all-purpose yards going 62-1533-11/TD's in 2019), scampered back 54 yards on the ensuing kick-off for the Colts. One play later he blasted through the weak-side of Jacksonville past the great Jaguar tackle Rob Meir, for an explosive 46 yard Touchdown run, 7-7! Meir had three tackles in the game for the Jaguars. On the Jaguar's next drive, Connor Slomka, the Rookie Fullback out of nowhere, grabbed a 46 yard touchdown pass from Mark Brunell, putting Jacksonville ahead 14-7! The Colts marched right back downfield as Marvin Harrison had two key catches for the Colts, one a 33-yard TD from Phillip Walker, formerly of the XFL Houston Roughnecks, to tie the game at 14-14! With the game tied in regulation the Colts won the bitter coin-toss. It is hard to win on the road in the LIEFL, but the Colts had the chance to take advantage and move up on the season, facing the Minnesota Vikings next week at Indianapolis. In overtime, Addai would save the best for last. He had a blazing, explosive season-long run of 72 yards to the Jacksonville four-yard line. One play later, Addai was wide open in the end-zone with the game winner 20-14 in 2:09 of Overtime! The Jaguars will face another division rival in Tennessee next week on the road. When you lose two games in the LIEFL 7-Game Season format, it is tough to recover, but these Jaguars will battle anyone!
