Never seen these bases

I’ve never seen bases with the front shaped like this.  Does anyone know anything about them?

I first saw those type of bases in an Excalibur Tabletop Vibrating Football Game, circa 2007. There are some similar TTC bases and Rookie bases on eBay right now. 

I was in a Goodwill Store and I bought the game, bases, and players. They weren't very fast or strong, and the player platforms are an odd shape. So I donated it back to the Goodwill.

That's all I know about them. I'm sure Chris at the Museum knows more of the history.

Yes Terry, Excalibur Electronics. This is the company that got the NFL License after Miggle. One year of production.

You guys are amazing! I’d never even seen this iteration of “vibrating” football. Look at where we are now. Thank goodness for the guys at Tudor! Dodged a bullet didn’t we?
