Mom NEVER bought much outside birthday and Christmas. We didn’t beg when out at the store. No need to. One day, she was in the shoe shop next to Fred Sington’s Sporting Goods, In Gadsden, Alabama. I went to FS to look and kill time. On a shelf, was the 510. The Chiefs were my team. I was thinking Christmas and this was August, so I had her come see this magnificent piece of art. She asked the clerk to get it down for us to look at…AND BOUGHT IT!!!! 
My family did not see me for days. The copy I own now is off EBay, but I still have the players from the original. After all these years , it is still my favorite electric football moment, 50 years ago.

The Colts proved too much for the Chiefs tonight. Final score: Colts 42 Chiefs 33. The Colts outclassed the Chiefs in almost every facet of the game, but the Chiefs hung around with big play after big play.
