First Full-Team Paint Attempt

My first go at painting a full team. The Detroit Lions. I took some liberties in terms of stripping, so they're not exactly to spec.

Before I read your post I instantly knew they were the Detroit Lions. 👍  How do you plan to number your franchise? Are you going for name plates too?

Thanks Daryl, and thanks Terry! Compared to you all, I'm pretty rudimentary. Just numbers on the back of the jerseys, and I'll probably use good old varsity numbers. 😅 I really enjoyed the process! So much so, I've started on the Seahawks. I did a prototype for both home and away. Doesn't really match any year in particular, and I may yet change them. I'm digging the away uni, but not loving the home uni. Also, they're kinda sloppy compared to the Lions.

Just a thought. 🤔  On the dark jersey the mold line is still visible. Scraping or sanding the mold line away quickly improves the appearance. It also makes it easier to apply shoulder numbers (if you decide you want them at a later date), shoulder logos, and makes it easier to paint the helmet logo.

The paint, and especially the stripes on the sleeves are excellent. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This may sound counter intuitive, but caffeine will stabilize your hands. 🍮 Mt. Dew is my choice.

Excellent idea Terry, about sanding the molds. Never would have thought of that. Coffee is my drug of choice.
