That is so great because of you in the New Orleans Saints draft I mentioned the colleges that the five new players went to we're in the past we wouldn't have done that. The camaraderie in the forum is phenomenal and I'm so happy to be part of it with my league although only a few of us actually look at what is written about our league. Myself and Levi Vic

The Packers are coached by a phenomenal coach and also I love the Packers especially in this league but in real life too. They are rising

  3. This year we are going to have a parade for every division as we prepare for our final season which begins in August. This is the NFC South of the Long Island Electric football league. Player bases in the photo are the official basis used by that team.

The Long Island Electric football league puts its best 11 players which are all stars on the field. For more information you can go to our league page here on the forum.

Leading the parade is the 2023 Long Island electric Football League Super Bowl XVIII Champions Atlanta Falcons coached by Johnny Freeport.

The Falcons went 9-2 and Coach Johnny Freeport earned $3,200.

This year the Long Island Electric football league will have a $5,000 payout!

Next is the Carolina Panthers who went 7-3 and they made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game coached by Matt Zoo York

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are fierce football team and they battled right to the end with a 3-4 record coached by Joey Pizz.

For the second straight year the New Orleans Saints could only win one game. The 1-6 Saints have 10 first round draft picks all together and a lot of faces will change in the lineup. Let's see how they do in the final season coached by second year coach Bobby Biggs.

In July we will have our 2024 League Outlook as we always present to the Tudor forum. The Outlook is a thorough recap of 23 and an official forum for 2024 and it's already completed but we will hold off on publishing it until we get closer to the opening kickoff. This makes the league much more exciting for people who actually like our league the way we love yours.

If you're interested keep a lookout for the next division which will be the NFC North. It's a lot of work to take these figures out of their boxes but we have to clean the boxes because it collects particles.

    Hope you enjoy!

Between the votes of @Coach Shawn @Terry43 @Jayethekxng @Long island EFL @Daryl Collins (and 5 votes here locally), I have narrowed the MVP list to 4 players.

    George Pickens (Steelers 3-1 North champs) 17 receptions 443yds 7 TDs 1 2pt conversion, 11 returns 542yds 1 return TD

Miles Sanders (Panthers 2-2)  55 rushes 517yds 8 TDs 1 2pt conversion, 6 receptions 93yds 2  TDs , 11 returns 500yds 1TD 2 fumbles on kick returns  (note: his 2nd fumble was the final week in OT against the Saints, and cost the Panthers a Playoff spot)

    Tony Pollard (Cowboys 3-1 Wildcard) 57 rushes 324yds 3 TDs 1 fumble, 14 receptions 302yds 5 TDs, 8 returns 322yds

    Josh Jacobs (Raiders 2-2) 49 rushes 476yds 6 TDs, 15 receptions 247yds 3 TDs, 10returns 496yds 1 TD

@nefgm.org I need a vote from you too!  And, anyone else who wants to vote!!!!

I got to go with Pickens

  5. The White Sox era in the Long Island Electric football league continues with any new team that gets repainted or resized. New Orleans coach Bobby Biggs is extremely excited. The Saints have earned the number one draft pick in the league for two straight seasons which amounts to 10 first round draft picks. Big needs to bring this team alive this year.

    They need to win games.

  6. That completes the painting for the 2024 LIEFL season with upgraded size 67 Big Man with throwback 1978 uniforms for the New Orleans Saints just painted and detailed which took a long time over 5 hours to decal both teams. Coach Bobby Biggs has a new attitude and approach with this team this year.

Greg I'm so sorry for your loss and as I sit here and write this I think to myself that we never know what somebody has gone through in life and it's connection to Electric football. Someone's looking out for you up there. We have a guy locally who does a lot for CF by the name of Boomer esiason because his son Gunner has what you have. Thank God for the advancement in medical tech knowledge and you're a miracle 🙏

I'm grateful to have met you!

She passed away 4 years ago next month, one and a half years before my daughter was born.  I grew up with Cystic Fibrosis, so I was sick with pneumonia a lot as a kid.  I had lots of friends and was very active, but when I had to stay home, electric football was my hobby in the fall and winter.  I had a double lung transplant 24.5 years ago for the CF.  When I was diagnosed at age 5, the life expectancy for CF was 8.

My Mom and Dad did everything to keep me alive.  My new lungs are still working very well.  😊

My Mom knew that was one of my favorite things, so she kept the boards in the attic and all my teams in my old toybox inside the house.  Most of the teams still look like they’re straight out of a new bad.  These last 2 years of playing have brought back a touch of the innocence of childhood.

It's so fantastic and I hope your mom is blessed and still with us. So many of our parents were an integral part of the game that brought us such Joy.

So awesome that you tap back to your childhood. Can't take the kid out of us!

  11. I know what you're saying about the boards once you start with a board you stick with the board until the season's over then in the league we are using sometimes more than four boards

Yes that is the way I always have done it.   But I see how the sponge method would speed things up.

My problem is I have a large family and so I don’t have large blocks of free time.  So if I did try the sponge method I would likely get interrupted and risk ruining my decals.

What we do is put a little water on the table on the side and just touch it fast we wait a minute or less because some decals don't come off as easy and then we apply

I snip out the decal I want to use and only place that on the sponge.  Never the whole sheet.

Exactly otherwise it's a wasted effort you can't put those decals on that fast and sometimes they will break so the best way to do it we think, is to do one at a time sometimes two

TBH, I didn't like em' growing up cause they kicked the Skins but in the 83' Super Bowl, lol.

However, in the past year I've been reviewing old games from the 80's and 70's because I'm trying to build a league that's mainly based around Super Bowl winners from that era. Now mind you, I was too young to have seen the Raiders in 1980 and 1976, so I'm not sure I even realized they had won it then...

Now that I've been delving into the players and teams from those decades, I have to say how impressed I am with that franchise, LOL. There were so many great athletes from Cliff Branch, Jack Tatum and Ted Hendricks to Marcus Allen, Howie Long and Tom Hendricks, that I'm not sure how I missed them all these years. And then when I found out John Madden was the Head Coach of the 76' Raiders? Wowzers.

Not saying they'll ever become my favorite team of course, but I can honestly look back now at the era and admire their legacy as one of the best franchises in NFL history.

One of my favorites of all time is John riggins

This past year, I played my first solitaire league since I was a kid.   I bought the ultimate board, which was very beautiful.  Here are some things I've noticed:

    1) Obviously, there was a sag in the middle.  On the sidelines, I wasn't so concerned with it because it kept runners in bounds longer (which, of course, is what you'd want).  However, it was much harder to run the ball as the plays got closer to the goal line.

    2) With the motor on the instructed site at the 50 yard line, the board obviously vibrated more on that side of the field.  However, it also vibrated more on one side of the field (from the 25 yard line to the endzone) than on the other side.  This resulted in more players falling in these parts of the field.

    3) Individual players would perform differently depending on which end zone they were headed towards (especially in speed, but also in power)

Does anyone have thoughts on these things?

    Thanks!

    Greg

We don't use those new boards and we use a level to be sure the game is close to perfect. We gave the board we bought away because we just didn't like the performance.

1973 I was 12 and visiting family in Tennessee. They had the Jets-Bills game on and I got to see O.J. break the record. That’s the O.J. I choose to remember.

    Journey On!

I remember watching that game as well. What a player! Check out OJ's two TD runs in our Super Bowl

The Falcons hold again.  Dallas settled for a 43 yard FG.  Early in the 4th, the game is tied at 17 all.

As @Long island EFL said, speed kills.  Both teams have speed.  The Falcons have a tad more.  Anyone’s game.

Speed and power with skill makes the intensity fantastic. That's what makes this game a great matchup
