When i go to numbering these teams...the raiders are always tough because of so many good players its tuff to choose. I put stabler on my dark raiders...and lamonica on my white set...then you have plunkett in the later years and then there was george blanda the miracle man...so i left plunkett on my patriot teams and i have blanda on my oilers...that way all 4 of them are represented somewhere.........all my vikings have joe kapp at qb....and i put tarkenton on my white giants team..while Y.A. is on the dark set.....lots of great old players to try to put on a roster somewhere....i do try to keep all my teams represented by players from the 60s and 70s....i think earl Campbell and walter payton may be the only players from the 80s who still make a roster......my introduction to pro football and electric football started in the late 60s and early 70s...so i get to relive those happy childhood moments every time i put the little teams on the metal field.

I searched montgomery ward and sears 1967 wishbook....i found the big 620 browns giants for 11.99 and the mid size bears cardinals for 9.99...but packers colts small game not in either....but i would say it was 7.99 or 8.99.....i saw the old generic 500 model with the big yellow and white players was 5.98...

My guess would be 8.99.....but i couldnt find a price on internet or at unforgettable buzz wishbook....

Ive had good success with the awesome......it is cheap and much safer to use....

Great looking old classics....i have found best way to remove old bigmen numbers is warm water and ur thumb nail...its like most things...take ur time....as far as touch ups...it hurts resell...but if you plan to keep them...then hey ...make them look better.....what i do with the old classic teams is i never touch up...if i buy a set that looks bad i just keep them until i find a replacement team or individual players to make my team better....but hey...love to look at the old classics....thanks for sharing.

Defense dominates until the late in the 4th qt when essex johnson takes off for 78 yds and seals the deal for the bengals 10 to 0 over the chargers. No...the bears beat the vikings and the packers beat the lions in the first round of the central division...im going to play the rams and 49ers tonight or tomorrow ...then ill play the packers and bears after that.....then ill have the final 4 nfl teams....i think ill jump down and play some afl games until i get to their final 4.....then ill go back to nfl....sorry for being so long winded...im just excited about being able to post pics and games again....LOL

Blue vikes and purple vikes

The 1969 hoglegs came in various uniform changes....vikings come in purple ( which are generally much better paint jobs than the cranberry runny 1967 bigmen vikings...probably what u are talking about ) ..then they made blue vikings for some reason in the late hog runs .......other variations are : redskins with yellow helmets and redskins with spear helmets....eagles with white helmets...and eagles with green helmets...saints with the standard gold helmets and black helmet saints....jets with one shoulder stripe ...and jets with 3 stripes on the sleeves....chiefs in dark with no stripe and chiefs with one sleeve stripe.....might be one or two others that im forgetting about....when i thinned my collection a few years ago...i decided to keep my hogleg collection in my favorite variation and because the AFL came in dark and white ....when i see a variation i dont have at a good price i buy it.....whew...i get a little long winded when i talk about the old teams...but i enjoy it....ill post a pic after while showing a few of the variations that i have.
