I’m thinking of doing a packers decade tournament. I have the 65,72,83,96,09,and 19-20 teams. Not sure if I should do a round robin format or 2 divisions. An 09 vs 2019-2020 game should be interesting as Rodgers will Qb both teams.

Here is one possible very simple Tournament Format.  Total of 11 Games to determine a Champion. Really just depends on how many games you want to play and how quick you want to finish a season. This format can easily be used for any # of Teams and/or Division / Conference setups.

Yeah, I am thinking about using it for my future Solitaire Leagues, I want to expand the TnPEFL with more teams but don't want to spend a lot of time playing meaningless games. This format would allow for mini tournaments within a larger tournament. Basically could have a league with all the 32 nfl teams and play 8 division mini tournaments to determine the 8 divison champions and then 2 mini tournaments to determine the 2 conference champions who would then meet in the Super Bowl.

This is great for my 70’s league. I have 6 nfc and 6 afc teams - packers, Vikings, rams , 49ers, cowboys, redskins, Steelers, oilers, colts, dolphins, raiders ,chiefs. I will play each division pair to get to 6 teams then use this format to get to my Super Bowl.
