Some fantastic teams in the NFC East of the Long Island Electric football league. Let the wars begin!

Leading the way in the NFC East will be coach Ed Viggs 7-1 Washington Redskins. The Redskins were the only undefeated team in the Long Island Electric football league seven game season until they were upset by the Super Bowl champion Atlanta Falcons and notorious coach Johnny Freeport.

Coach Levi Vick's 5-3 Dallas Cowboys are locked and loaded and ready for the competition in the east.

Coach Joey Pizz 3-4 New York Giants vow to knock off the Redskins this year.

Let's see what Matt Zoo York's 2-5 Philadelphia Eagles will do with all that great talent in a brutal division.

Nearly $80 to put the team on the field which would include paint, the actual team which is 22 players in home and away uniforms at roughly $15 per team which equals 30, Plus $42 for the decals

* 32 teams which in home and away equals 64 teams obviously .

That is a $5,000 collection.

I bet you some people have $20,000 worth of collections

I don't know what the true total value of my collection is, I know that if I were asked to put a value on it, it would probably be much more than $20,000. However, I have seen pics of other people's collections that have way more stuff than I do. The greatest value of anybody's collection is in the teams and figures. I have often bought game sets for nothing more than the teams and bases. I personally have always been more interested in the game boards, so my collection of original factory teams is very limited.

Today's market though is much larger than it was when I started collecting over 25 years ago. The market demand for original vintage electric football games is getting much smaller. Today the market demand is more for custom painted teams, custom built game boards and field covers.

I'm always amazed at how much people actually hold on to and it's terrific.
