Colors of the game

I think one thing that pulled me back to electric football (and now keeps me here) are the beautiful colorful hand painted figures.  I especially like the ones from the 70s and 80s.  I like the imperfect lines and painted logos more that the machine painted repros and stamped helmets.  Although not rivals, I love the colors of this match-up between the Haiti dark jersey Dolphins and the early 80s HK Buccaneers!  I had to send these pictures out to the Forum, so you could enjoy it too.  (I know I use the figures differently from most on here.  This is how my friends and I played them)

Thank you! 🎨 😃👍 Color plays a huge part in my electric football enjoyment. I see blocks of color working like a Piet Mondrian painting. The game is like performance art!

In the end the figures are just little bits of plastic. Our imagination brings them to life. How you use the figures is a function of what makes sense to you and makes the game exciting enough to keep playing.

Awesome Greg!! Yes, I think it is the colors of the teams and figures and the graphics of the game boards and boxes that are what interest me most. That is why I keep looking to Art Galleries and Museums and Libraries to put displays in. Even as we speak, I am working on another "Art of the Buzz" exhibit for next year in the Nashville, TN area. January / February 2025.

I have to agree that those two hand painted teams are especially appealing.  

I am lucky to have picked up the dolphins in the dark jersey several years back.   I have never had the Buccaneers dark jersey.
