How do you reward your Championship Teams?

Hi. My Sirens of Titan just won their fourth Fruit Bowl Championship and I started wondering how do other coaches memorialize the victory?

Does anyone give their players diamond rings? 🤑

I have a plexiglas display mounted to a 1949 model 500 game board. I record the year, Fruit Bowl number, final score, and the MVP. I pick a play from the game that I think was most important to the winning team and I build a little vignette to memorialize the play and the player. I've attached a video.

 

 

Then I add a player to the winning team. For the first Fruit Bowl win the team receives a kicker. For the second Fruit Bowl win the team receives a pocket passer QB, and for the third win I go all out and buy more bags of bases so I can give the team the strongest Defensive End / Tight End possible. 

But I've never had a team win four Fruit Bowls. I've gotta do something special!

When I was a little kid, my grandfather would give me his old cigar boxes.  I decided I’d put a team sticker on it and write the score inside.  I was 8 when I started doing this.  I have only found 3 of the boxes since I started looking for them.  

I still have a few of those boxes around.  So, I may have to assign one to the Seahawks from this past season 😊. Lol

This is otherworldly! It’s like Heavy Metal meets American Football. There’s this whole universe where the proprietor is an artist, multi communications expert, and an EF savant.

Greg, the reason you can't find those EF cigar boxes is because I bought them on Ebay! Just joking, But you aren't the only person to keep their teams in cigar boxes and I did buy this collection on Ebay from someone in California. Neatest, and most tiny lettering for nameplates that I've ever seen.

Never used a cigar box for my electric football teams but did have one that I kept a baseball card collection in for years.

So I found the Dutch Masters guide I was speaking of! It was sent inside the box of a Tudor #500 game I got years ago from eBay. It also came with a schedule for the Portland Bucaroos minor league hockey team. Made the purchase a real kick!
