9082 board motor placement

Recommended Posts

I don’t have room for an Ultimate Board, but I am strongly considering buying a 9082 board in the near future. So here’s my question. Where is the optimum area of placement for the motor? If I do get this, I want a field cover, so does that affect where I put the motor as well? Also, dumb question time. Is there a difference in the boards sold as AFC/NFC and the team specific boards? I haven’t bought a board in a number of years, save a Red Zone board I bought and have had a ton of fun with, so this is very exciting to contemplate. Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Daryl,

I'm sure the 9082 comes with placement instructions (I hope! 🤞). You could use the chat feature on the Tudor homepage to make sure.

I put a snow field cover on my Ultimate field and the field cover actually improved my field. Specifically, players seem to run more smoothly and my wife noticed a reduction is noise. So I'm guessing that motor placement and field cover are not related.

That's all the help I have for now. Enjoy the Journey  T43 🏈

I highly recommend any of Tudor's game boards. I have always put the motor in one corner of the game board as shown in the instructions that come with the games. Is that the optimum area? Eh... everybody has their own opinion on that. I have never been disappointed with the performance of any of my game boards.
