Bent figures

Recommended Posts

No. I wouldn't even try. About the only way I know of to attempt it is to heat with a blow dryer and possibly try to bend back, but then you run the risk of damaging the paint and / or breaking the figure. It is a fairly common thing. I have seen many of them.

Hi. I'm the other side of the coin. 🪙 I heat 'bent' players at the ankles and straighten them up. This may damage the paint.

However, sometimes a defect has a good effect.💥 The 'lean' might make the player stronger, or very consistent. I've heated up the ankles and 'leaned' a player on purpose. 🍀 It's all part of the equation.

Enjoy the Journey. T43. 🏈

I have a heat gin i use for this.  i bought it at Michaels for about $15.00 a few years ago.  You can hold the figure far enough away with plyer so it doesn't get so hot that it harms the paint but will soften the plastic enough to ease the figure back into position.  Hold the figure in place until the plastic cools off.
